This is my first post AND my first trip to Disney! We are going Aug. 12-17 and we're staying in the Swan. My husband is going for a conference, but DD and I decided to tag along since we've never been. I'm looking forward to it!!

August 15 - 22 at the Polynesian!

It will be me and my DS and my sister and her DS. This is our first time at the Poly. I am so excited! It is also my nephew's very first trip to WDW.

8/29 to 9/4 at the Poly. Can't wait! Last year we stayed at CSR which was great, but we are really looking forward to rolling the stroller right onto the monorail! (Never stayed at the Poly before, so excited!)

Yep, I drive by Coldwater quite a bit on my way to visit family in Ft. Wayne, IN or to go shopping at the outlet malls! I also have some friends that moved from Coldwater a few years ago.

Are there meets for our week? I didn't even know, I would love to find one. If you know of any let me know. When it gets a little closer I'll have to get the skinny on what you look like so I can spot you. Are you decorating your window or door?

I plan to decorate and I have not heard of any meet yet while we are there. This is my first trip since finding this great board. I did sign up to have a croc for a few days while I am there so I will meet atleast two families for hand offs.
If we don't see a post for a meet when we are there we can start one ourselves and see who is interested. I did put in a post about other families from this area but no one has responded to it yet.

I notice a mention of DIS meets. For those who will be there on 8/25, there is a meet scheduled at the Poly beach @ 8:30pm to watch the water pagent and enjoy a Lapu or 2 from the Tambu lounge. All are welcome!

It's a small world here on the Dis...we are over in Jackson, and also make the trip to Ft. Wayne / Bluffton to see family about 1x a month!

Wow I go to school in Jackson and my brother lives near there too. I was there last weekend for my pre-diet Parlor treat. Yum love there ice cream.
When and were will you be staying. I am at the POP from 8/28-9/2. I am also trying to get a DIS meet for this area before we all go.

I've been reading the boards for several months since I stumbled across them when we started to plan our Disney trip. The info I've gotten from here is great! Since there are five of us, we finally booked the Poly (GV) for August 19-26 with DDP. There will be me, my wife, our two sons 9 and 12 (his birthday will be at Disney) and our daughter (6 by the time the trip roles around). This will be their first trip to WDW
