Well everyone, I was wondering who all is going to be at the Fort for Christmas.

Our whole gang will check in at the Fort on December 18, 2005 thru January 7, 2006. :jumping1:

We will be checking in on 12/22 and checking out 01/02
third year at WDW for Christmas :cool1:

Checking in Dec 26 to Jan 02. Too many little ones for Santa to leave their gifts in a camper. We would not have any room for us!

12/18 through 1/4

Oldest DS starts high school, and the band is playing at the OUtback bowl in Tampa on 1/2, He is in the band, so we will stay for that.

Wouldnt it just be easier for you to type in the dates when you WONT be at FW :rotfl:

Hey, that's the joy of NOT living 1400 miles away. 427 miles from front door to Ft. Wilderness. That's eight hours with camper, 6 1/2 without! :teeth: Don't worry, I'll think about you, the Mrs. and the boys while I am sitting at the sing a long. I checked my calander, won't be there Aug (unless I extend my summer visit from 7 weeks to 9 weeks) Sept or Oct. I will be there Nov and Dec. No wonder my husband has to work all the time. :earseek: Ft. Wilderness is taking all of his money! :rotfl2: Bad people.

O.K. 240 miles to my error. I dare you to come to the Ft. this summer. No, wait, I double dare you! I think you and the Mrs. ought to pack RIGHT NOW, leave RIGHT NOW and be there to greet me when I pull up to the gates! :rotfl2: I bet you can't (reverse psychology always works on the little ones :rotfl: )

Hey MrsGus,

Could you try a little reverse psych on my wife (unfortunately she doesn't DIS). I am really struggleing to get back enough. I want to stay Xmas 06 and she just rolled my eyes. This summer I HAD to agree to europe but at least I got in Disney Paris (I had two week reservations for this summer that I had to cancel).

Anyway, I'll take all the help I can get.

Live4FW,

It does not work on spouses. What does work for my husband is the fact that we have 6 kids. The oldest is 19 so he does not come with us, but the other 5 are ages 10 and under. Hubby does not like Disney (he does like the campground) but would not spend a long amount of time there for fear he would have to go to a park. What he loves is the idea of everyone else being gone for 7 weeks and he gets to come home to a clean, quiet house. So this Friday, he will deliver the fifth wheel to Ft. W and set everything up. On Saturday I will arrive with the kids and the golf cart. He is leaving on Monday but the kids and I will stay for 51 nights. Can't do Christmas down there, like I said before, not enough room for Santa but I do like to go right after so I can still see the decorations.

I am not the one that needs convincing. As far as psychology goes eveyone thinks I am crazy already. I have am ailment that cant be cured but can be treated with regular doses of "Disney"
Unfortunately the "fix" last less and less every year and I fear the only way to really control the problem is to spend the entire winter there 9 years from now. We were just there during Easter and I am laready "jonesing" for more.

You will have to really be on your game to be "extreme" at FW during Christmas. From what we have seen, this is serious business to some people.
