Who here uses CM's SBC+ for digital scrapping?

new to cm plus, but can you add elements from other online sources? Or only CM elements?
TIA!
If you can add them...how?

You go to the "homepage"

you will see the artist paint pallet...that is My Stuff

Click on my stuff

then on the new menu select Go to file and select Add Collection
Name the collection then go to content
Select Content and then add paper or add embellishments

Let me know if that is not detailed enough.

oh, another question...do books end on even or odd pages?
I assume you pay for the last page if you use or it not, so just want to make sure I get the bang for the buck (as they say)
So, do I end it on 33 or 34 pages?

And talk about FAST!!! Less than one week and I'm ready to order!
LOL

Here it is! My first attempt at a digital scrapbook and my first use of CM. SO much faster than photoshop! I made some errors here and there, but it's fine with me for the time spent. I spent WAY WAY longer making everything from scratch with the old system.
Thanks, everyone, for helping me with questions and giving me ideas on past weekly challenges!
...
Let me know what you think, if you can. Jessica started this addiction! LOL

oh, i should add credits!
I used the disney quick page kit form CM and I used several free kits from Brittish designs from past weekly challenges.
I think that was it this time around!

Wow Laura that is great. I love the speed at which I can digi-scrap.

I did not see the mistakes at all I think it looks totally great.

I do believe the last page is always a white paperish page. I do think you want to end on an even number. I think 1 is front of paper and page 2 is back of paper. i give away all the books I make so I do not have one to check.

I just want to share this as an FYI for all.

I had known that the CM Calenders were not full-bleed (edge to edge), and was warned you get a lot of white. Let me tell you people are not kidding.

Jessica it is 8.5 x 11 paper so that is probably why so many people think 8.5x11 for calenders and I am so glad I read their web directions. To the right and left there is a 1.75 in white strip around the design you give them and the top and bottom have about a .75 inch strip.

Now, I must say those templates Jessica made were still totally awesome and look great. So thanks again for sharing.

Wow, wow, wow! You really did a great job! And FAST, too. I think that's what I like best about SBC+. You can really crank out the pages when you have to. Like I did last night with my calendars!

Here are some of the pages I did last night. I used a lot of CM stuff, some of my templates, a few random Britt and Ellie Lash things, and maybe some other stuff. I can figure it out if you want to know where something came from!

and a few more: (I did some different ones for different relatives, that's why you see more than 12 layouts!)

Hi everyone! I've been lurking on this thread for a while, and you've all convinced me I NEED SBC+. So I'm getting it for Christmas! I can't wait to get it. My question is, with the Disney content CD do you get all of their Disney stuff? Like the princesses, Hanah Montana, Cars? If it comes with it all then I will HAVE to order it. Hopefully after the 25th I can start posting some pages. Where do you all print your pages, other than with CM? I'm still paper scrapping and will probably add digi pages to my paper albums. Thanks for all the help.

The Disney Power Palette has the basic papers and some character elements, then you buy the different add-ons like Cars, princesses, Mickey, etc. I think they are about $4 each, so it isn't too expensive to get the whole collection.

I usually print my pages as books from Shutterfly. There are a lot of different places to get 12x12 prints made, too (Shutterfly is one of them, but I know there are others). I think they might be listed on the Digi scrapping FAQ thread.

beautiful, Jessica!!! And you saw the fairies, I see! Fun!

Thanks! It was really fun and worth the over 60 minute wait to see the fairies! I'm not sure that I'll do it again, but it was worth it once!

I had already decided we were not going to wait for the fairies, so I didn't even tell the girls about it (There were still so many things we hadn't done!)

A photopass photographer started talking to the girls saying "have you seen the fairies? They are over at ..."
and then I cut him off and gave him those "please don't let the cat out of the bag" eyes that begged the man not to have me waiting for well over an hour, as it was later in the day at that point! LOL
He got my gentle hint :cutie:
and instead had the girls pose holding out their hands for tinkerbell, which was a wonderful segway! Great job! :thumbsup2
So all was well :) Maybe next time, if they are still there (if there is a next time!)

Congrats on the new program.

I assume you mean the Disney Vacation Content Collection.

It DOES NOT contain everything. It has the 8.5x11 pre-desinged pages, the are about 20 papers, stickers, Words (sticker sayings), and photomats.

The Hannah, Cars, and Winnie the Pooh are all seperate. So is the princessess.

Here is where I print a lot of my 12x12 page prints at.

Have furn playing with your Christmas present.

Thanks Michelle for the info. Can you make your own pages in 12x12 with the papers? My ablums are all 12x12 and I would like to stay with that since I am still doing a lot of paper scrapping.
