I would purchase Kits and also purchase 12 x 12 pre-designed pages. Unless you are going to be doing an 8.5 x 11 book - there is no point in spending the money on this size. As the other posted have stated - you can copy can the 12 x 12 pages into an 8 x 8 format. Also - from what I have seen, the 12 x 12 pre-designed pages are the same as the 8 x 8.
If you decided to purchase any of the CDs with the Digital content - the all contain 8.5 x 11 pre-designed pages.
Also - make sure you take the time to download all of the free-stuff - there are a ton of predesigned pages and you can use the picture configuration and change the background papers and elements.

I've used this one a lot too.... Sometimes I fill some of the blocks with paper instead of pics, etc.....

However, maybe I'll have some time this weekend to play around some. I really don't even know where to start with creating templates. I guess I need to watch the rest of the webinars to see if they cover it. I know once I get into it, it will make sense, just not yet! Thanks for the detailed info!
