Hi, I love SB+...I just finished a book of our trip for my kids. My only complaint is that the book is $50. It never seems like I am spending that much when I do regular scrapbook!! Here are a few of my favorite pages--I did just use the premade layouts, but I like how they turned out and was able to adjust them a bit.

My husband actually calculated out what I spend on an average book (he did 12x12) for film developing, paper, pages, embellishments, kists, page protectors etc. You would be surprised what it really costs to do a scrapbook.

He said yes it hurts more when you do it all at once, rather over time.

I have learned SO much from you all! I can't believe how wonderful your LOs look! I've had SBC+ for a few months...but I haven't been super jazzed about it until now. I've downloaded oodles of freebies. I have the day off tomorrow and assuming my internet stays with me through a possible winter storm - I'll be plugging away on an album or two.

Christy - I'm really excited to use your templates I've DL - they're amazing!

FYI -- You can save those pages as .jpgs, upload them to Shutterfly and make a book there for much less than it would cost from CM. The book I did was going to cost me $175 from CM. I couldn't handle that, so I went with Shutterfly and the book came out great! It cost me $95 for the same book from Shutterfly.

Here's a template if anyone wants it... I've used this one several times... I'll rotate everything 90 or 180 degrees or change the aspect ratio on the pictures, etc. to change the look....

Yay! That's because I made it in SBC+ and it's a .page file for that program... I answered your question about .pngs on the other thread ... they are "usable," but a lot more work. I'll add some more here as I get them done.

I love this thread and as a result I purchased SBC+ and have played with it it. Now I want to buy the Disney layouts but what size? There is 12x12, 8.5x11 and 8x8 which is the most useful? I am really green with computers and digital scrapbooking so it needs to be easy.

I'd start with the 12x12 and the Mickey add-ons.

If I am understanding the posts, with the 12x12 I can reduce to another size if I want to. Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, it's best to start with the 12x12 since you can use it in the smaller size pages. It's very easy to do the page in 12x12 and then transfer it to the 8" size. You can't go up from an 8x8 without loosing a lot of quality.
