Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas...I'll catch up soon. :yay:

Welcome Home Your Majesty!!!!

I'm so glad that you had a great holiday!! Can't wait to hear all about it!!:surfweb:

good morning, crew!

Thanks for the donuts, Donna!

YM - we missed you - but glad you were where you were and had a wonderful trip. Welcome home!

Lyzziesmom - Gloria in a celcius day-o... that's too funny. I think our church set up the nativity on the altar without Jesus because one of the young ladies of the parish took him up there when the oblationers took up the bread and wine - which makes total sense to me. I guess I could see where people would do that. So Lyzzie made out like a bandit - I gather the DS went over well? Whew! You can squeeze one more year out of Santa! (I STILL have to wrap and place 'Santa' presents - can you believe that?) No, she knows, but she really likes the concept.

Nicole -that's a lot of lights and decorations! I thought of Christmas Vacation when I saw the photos. :rotfl:

Michele, I bet Lilly's first Christmas was priceless! You have photos, I assume?

Merry Christmas to Underdog and Maureen! :santa:

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday - what a whirlwind at my house. Up at 8:00, started in on the breakfast fare (home made cinnamon rolls and sausage balls), then the girl got up. When breakfast was finally done, presents! I got a brief break that I spent sweeping, mopping and vacuuming before I had to start cooking dinner stuff - my sister and her family came over, as did my oldest nephew and his wife. The younger nephew's girlfriend didn't come. We did dinner and presents. My poor dad - he cried when he got his book! I was bawling too.
My older nephew and his wife ROCK - they got me a Jim Shore figurine - the Mickey "Liberty Flag" one - which means SO much to me because he's doing his stint in the Army. He knows I'm proud of him (2 deployments to Iraq, and getting ready to be one to Afghanistan) but don't like him being in the Army and especially don't like him being deployed. It's his college money, though.
Finally shooed everyone out about 8:00 but my nephew and his wife stayed for a while, and then we settled in for an hour or so of Guitar Hero II. (she gets III and a 2nd controller for her birthday).

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Christmas yesterday, and that Santa was good to you. (he was good to me! :) no camera, though!)

We had a lovely day. Lilly didn't understand what was going on but she loved her new toys. I'm on Bree's laptop now but will post some pictures later.

When everyone arrived later all the kids got to open their gifts. They all seemed to love everything. Erin, DN4, kept asking...do I have another one?God help us all, David brought Matt an Air soft Machine gun!!!!

I almost messed up, luckily Lesa saved me!! My parent's gift is from all of us kids, my sister and her son aren't coming until Saturday. I almost didn't give them the gift until then but Lesa reminded me that we had to...it is tickets to see The Lion King...tonight!! Man would that have been bad!!

Oh gosh you guys aren't going to believe what Lilly got her dad!!! Now you have to remember that he just told us about it...he thought it was funny. His parents gave it to him. Lilly gave him a box of condoms with the note...Dear Daddy, I want to be an only child for a long, long time! :rotfl2:

I'm waiting for Lilly to come home and watching the Disney parade from yesterday. I may go shopping later. I need to get stuff for Briana's birthday. Matt has football practice at 1 then basketball practice at 4.

Last night Blake, the boys and Brittany went to Blake's parents house for their Christmas Day party. :cool1: I didn't go!!! My FiL didn't recognize Britty at all....he asked Blake if she was Nick's girlfriend!!!:cool1: The kids got a kick out of that!!

So what did everyone get?? I got lots of scrapbooking things, including a table and chair. The kids think I'm nuts for being excited about it but I am:confused3

Have a great day!!!

I get you...I still have to wrap Santa gifts, too!! And the kids insist that I use different paper like I did when they were little. :rolleyes1 Santa brought them one to share this year. They got Guitar Hero III with 2 guitars...what was Santa thinking??? They play in the basement but I don't have any doors to the basement to block the noise.

I'm so glad your dad liked his book. I know how hard you worked on it!!

I bought....uh....I mean....the kids got me an iPhone.

That's what I should have done. I really wanted a Cricut. I kept telling Blake how much I wanted it but told him that it was too expensive and he shouldn't get it....He believed me and didn't get it ( where's the pouting smilie?;) )

Reverse psychology....sometimes it works.....sometimes....eh, not so much, huh??!!

Good Morning All!

I hope Christmas was great for all of you. I have to go back and catch up.

My Christmas was pretty good. Mike had given me my stuff already. He got me an ipod classic, disney charm bracelet, lots of bath gel and chapstick (two things I LOVE), slipper socks, and a few other things.

We both got lots of gift cards. My mom got Spencer a bear dressed in a polo with khakis and "Spencer" embroidered on the shirt (Mike mainly wears polos and khakis and I had mentioned that I wanted to dress Spencer to match, so that is where the bear came from). She also gave him a gift card to Home Depot with a note saying it was for new flooring for his bedroom.
I am thrilled about that.

I am disappointed though. I ordered a couple of things for Mike and they were guaranteed to be here by Christmas. Well, that didn't happen. :guilty: Two things he'll get today (according to the tracking info) but a few other things will be later.

Mornin' Amber!!

Sorry that all of Mike's gifts didn't arrive in time! I'm sure he won't mind!

Glad you had a great Christmas otherwise!!

Good morning cliqueless friends.

Donna...well...who can reisit a donut? Yesterday, we had the Chef Mickey's Christmas brunch before we caught our ME bus. They have sticky Mickey's in the dessert area...they were sitting there in some very warm caramel sauce! Yum...I had three.:rolleyes1

Hi DznyFan...Yum homemade cinamon rolls and sausage balls...my kids would love that breakfast...maybe I can steal you idea. Glad you had a nice day yesterday. Are you working today?

Hey Pozey...I still have to go catch up but did the kids have a good Christmas at your house?

Michele...oh, my goodness, I did get a laugh out of Lily's gift to her dad. Can't wait to see some pictures of Lily. I'm on the laptop too...hopefully I will get around to downloading some of ours soon. Wow, they only get Christmas day off from practice? I'm assuming the football practice is indoor? Glad to hear you all enjoyed your Chirstmas!:goodvibes

Well, I was hoping the boys would sleep until noon today. I stayed up a little too late. I thought I would get sleepy by doing a little DISing but I finally just turned my computer off and went to sleep.

I'm going to go read a little to see what everyone was up to on the thread last week. :dance3:

Hey Pozey...I still have to go catch up but did the kids have a good Christmas at your house?
Welcome home me Lady!! :saidinhorribleBritishaccent:

Yes, the kids had a GREAT Christmas!! The kids loved everything they got.

And Chase asked the funniest thing last night.....Almost every night for the past month or so he would ask "How many more days until my birthday?"

Well.....last night as I was putting him to bed......he asked...."How many days until my birthday?" :rotfl2: "Ummmm......Chase.....your birthday was YESTERDAY!!".....:lmao:

So....I told him "ONLY 364 more days." :rotfl:

Wait.....is 2008 a leap year?? Did I lie to him?? Uh Oh!! I have to go tell him to add an extra day on to that count!! :rolleyes1

I'm glad I'm not the ONLY one who used different paper (and bows, and tags) on the Santa gifts when the kiddo was little! Santa was smart with yours - brought them something to keep them occupied!! I had fun playing Guitar Hero yesterday.... I'm ready to go home and play some more. I may change my mind when I've got 20 18 year olds at my house on Friday night playing. I may have to send them all up to the game room.

That's what I should have done. I really wanted a Cricut. I kept telling Blake how much I wanted it but told him that it was too expensive and he shouldn't get it....He believed me and didn't get it ( where's the pouting smilie?;) )
Awwwww - sorry you didn't get it! I guess that's what I should've tried with the camera - but I can't complain, he did do good and got me a spa day. I NEED it!!

Hey, Amber! Merry Christmas! That bear sounds absolutely adorable.

It was not a bad day - just a crazy day. It then became a zoo when my sister and her family got there. (with the exception of oldest nephew) Oldest nephew takes after me, and younger one takes after her. After they all left (they had to go home and feed all their animals) DH, Erin, I, nephew and nephew's wife sat around and tried to figure out why she is the way she is. I got lots of thanks from DN and DNW for having dinner at our house because neither one of them can stand to eat at her place for the smell. He said she's up to seven indoor dogs now.
He told me last night that she gripes about and can't understand us doing things (socializing/hanging out) with friends. :confused3 wow.

So Santa brought me a day at the spa, a scanner (yea!) and a new SCUBA regulator!! :woohoo: Erin got me a Danny Elfman CD and I got a reef fish identification book and a new alarm clock that plays the spa sounds ...... fell asleep to the ocean last night.

I love the bear, he sounds so cute. Just imagine what next Christmas will be like with Spencer here!!!:cool1: Lilly was laying on the floor yesterday morning drinking her bottle. I picked her up and layed her under the tree, since she was our best present this year.

Michele...oh, my goodness, I did get a laugh out of Lily's gift to her dad. Can't wait to see some pictures of Lily. The basketball practice is voluntary, but Matt is looking forward to it. Football is only 4 kids. The Jv and V quarterbacks will be practicing their throwing. Matt and another kid will be working on receiving. Anything that gets him out of the house and gets some of his energy out is fine with me!!

Wow your night sounds interesting!! 7 indoor dogs!!!?!??? No thank you!! Yeah, I can see where the smell could get interesting there:eek:

I love the day at the spa!! That sounds so relaxing!!

Oh yeah you are going to LOVE having the house full of kids playing GH. When Bree and Zach were dating this summer he brought his over and left it here. So all the kids came here to play it. It seemed like they played the same songs over and over and over again:headache: But they loved it:headache:

Good morning cliqueless friends.

good morning!

Certainly you can steal my idea. The sausage balls are tradition - every year I get up and make a batch of sausage balls, and we wait until they're done to open presents - eat them while opening. The cinnamon rolls were a "me" impulse this year.

Your Majesty, I know you don't have your laptop with you, but .....

Yes...we were on the first boat to Tom Sawyer's Island. You would have thought we won a nights stay in the castle!:lmao:

Good Morning!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YM!!!!

Thanks Nicole...my birthday rocked!:rockband:

Happy Happy Birthday YM! what better way to celebrate than at WDW! and with Linda and family!

Thanks Shannon...it was so cool...pictures are coming!:cheer2:

I called YourMajesty this morning during her CP breakfast. Tigger and Pooh had been to the table already and Piglet was on his way! She was blessed with my rendition of "Happy Birthday To you"; I hope she was able to digest her breakfast properly after that!!:rotfl:

2x2s:: How cool that YM found a paintbrush. I forgot; are they entitled to anything special for it

Hey Donna...we got our choice of a fastpass to Splash or thunder Mountain! Oh...was that why I was a little rumbly in my tummy? Just kidding...Donna's happy birthday song put a huge smile on my face. The waitress had all the restaurant sing too...plus a cupcake and a candle!:cheer2:

It sounds like YM is having a great birthday!

Yep...it was perfect!

What did you get?? A new camera lens? I saw Linda's....very impressive!!!

Had to chime in on this comment...Linda has a very impressive camera and lens! :woohoo:

So I missed Lin leaving and YM leaving!!!
