Woke up this morning and said to myself, "Yup, I've got the germs." So... I'm home today. Just me and Emma. She's busy watching Sesame Street and I went back to sleep for a couple hours. I hate sleeping with the tv on, I never go all the way to sleep and I have the weirdest dreams!
I didn't watch Ashley's video because I prefer not to know about gross stuff around me. I take it it was about germs in hotels? No thank you, I happen to like hotels and don't care to ruin that. I'll just be over here in my happy little bubble.
DznyFan: You sound just like me with the driving vs. flying! I love driving but it's just too far, and with the extra time off work it isn't worth it. But $360 per ticket? Yikes! I couldn't do that - the flights alone would be more than I've ever spent on an entire vacation! I'd probably reconsider driving if it came to that.
Lyzziesmom- I am SO mad!!! I can't believe that the warden or whatever he's called shredded Earl's get out of jail papers!!!! I honestly am not really impressed with this season, to me the show was much better when he was out of jail.
Oh I know, me too! Here I was thinking, Yay, he'll get out of jail and the show will go back to "normal" but NO! I also didn't like the episode a few weeks ago where they were on Cops again. I mean it was funny, but it seemed like they were just redoing an old episode because they ran out of ideas. Nevertheless, I can't wait for next week to see what happens!
I was thinking this morning that I would really like some Disney silverware. Does anyone know if they make any? Not the kid stuff with characters printed on them, but a nice Mickey head engraved or cut out of the handles would be awesome. Something tasteful and subtle.
I read where Lyzzie's grandparents can't make the trip in January. Myabe something else will come up. I'm thinking Ashley's wheels are turning!
That would be awesome! I really can't wait for next year's cruise. I hope everyone will be able to go. Since it looks like I won't be able to go until then, I've really been looking forward to it. And the best part will be seeing all my DIS friends again, and meeting those of you I haven't seen!! It's too far away though -- I want to go NOW!
I was checking prices & stuff last night and I could actually go in Dec. for about the same price as January, but I think it's too soon for my parents to book a cruise (which is the whole point of them buying the girls' airfare, so I have somewhere to go while my babysitters are away). Plus I don't have enough paid vacation left this year, I think after today I have two days. Too bad, because then I could join the mini-meet!
I must mention however to keep in mind that most airlines have a 50lb limit on their luggage. One poor family was having to re-pack everything at the airport before they could check in for their return flight.
On our last trip my mom had to repack on the way home, her suitcase was a couple lbs. over the limit. It was her bag of WDW soaps and shampoos from the hotel! SSR gave us soap, shampoo and body wash in both bathrooms every day, and if we didn't use them the maid put them in our luggage! I'm such a dork though because I don't use much of it at home, I save it. For what, I have no idea, but I still have some (plus a roll of tp with a Mickey wrapper on it) from POR back when it was Dixie Landings and my parents came to visit me at college (UCF in Orlando) and I stayed there with them for the weekend. Whew that was a long run-on sentence!

And I know what I'm getting -- Mom told me to be sure to print out the receipt so she can wrap it & put it under the tree.
