Linda: I can't believe Kenny is only 37 lbs. Lyzzie is 70 lbs. and little Emma is 32 lbs!

My dad is really pushing for me to take my vacation

Anyone going to WDW in January?
I think I got some good pictures of the girls tonight but they were pretty squirmy and the lighting was not too good, so we'll see. I'm sure I got at least one I can use.
Oh, he's such a lightweight:laughing:
wow...that is cool your dad keeps offering. I can totally relate w/them being too little to ride certain things. I'd have to clear it w/Mike but maybe Kenny and I could come down for a quick trip:confused3 :rolleyes1 Kenny and Emma would have fun playing again I'm sure:cloud9:

Hope your pics turned out good !

Thanks again everyone!
Of course I will still keep in touch! I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't talk to my computer friends everyday! I'm on the lookout for a cheap reliable laptop now! If anyone sees a laptop on sale let me know!
I might happen to know someone.....:rolleyes1

Okay, now I need to work on all my projects for school! I'm swamped. :faint: I was planning on doing that this afternoon but I was too excited to think about it. Good thing I'm off tomorrow and Friday!
yeah, you might be there in Jan. too:cheer2: I will keep an eye out for a laptop. I bet you are too excited. I was awake at 3:30 am too excited to get back to sleep this morning:laughing: I finally stumbled down to the basement and tanned:rotfl:

(oops, typed it again)
:rotfl2: yes, you sure did! good to see ya:hug:

Nicole, CONGRATS!!!!!!
I am so happy for you! Oh, you'll be able to shop in the CM only store!
Lesa, yeah for finally getting through to the doctors. I can't believe what a headache that was.

Lyzziesmom, hopefully you'll be able to figure out a way to do to WDW.

Hey everyone else!!!

Well, Mike's boss came down yesterday and spoke with him. He basically said that Mike wasn't doing enough (because working 12-14 hours days isn't enough) and that the company is unwilling to hire more people or supply more vehicles. Mike was also told that he needed to increase business (even though they don't have enough people to handle accounts as it is). Mike will not be getting the raise and bonus he was promised either. The guy then had the nerve to tell Mike that if he (Mike) needed anything to just ask. Needless to say, Mike has not be happy at all. He kills himself trying to do everything and is told he is doing a bad job.
I did find a couple of job openings, so hopefully one of those pan out. We are looking into buying a cheap car for the time being (since we only have one) so he can get out of his company. I am going to love the day he can quit and they see how much he really does do.
I didn't even know there WAS a CM only store:eek: WOW that's awesome!!! Hey Nicole...can I send you some CASH:rolleyes1 :lmao: :flower3:

I am hoping and praying one of those jobs pan out for Mike...that is complete BS and I bet he wanted to walk out SO bad yesterday:mad: They really need a rude awakening:sad2:

Hmmmmm....

looks like we need some breakfast here.

Amber - pixie dust and luck to you and Mike in getting him out of his current work situation. He definitely needs to find something else!
thank you DznyFan!

Lyzziesmom- Yes, that man is so lucky you intercepted his letter. That was identity theft waiting to happen. A girl in one of my classes said on Tuesday someone had been using her debit card in NYC, and drained her account. She's planning her wedding, so you know she had a good amount of money in there.
omg..that poor girl!!!:scared1: I look at my accts. daily!

lyzziesmom...good thing you intercepted that letter for sure...geesh! scary!

Oh, this morning Kenny informed me that when Mike has been giving him rides on the atv, he's been STUDYING the buttons and he thinks he'll be all set to ride one of his own now:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: sorry bucko..not this year!:rotfl: "I've been studying":rotfl2: what am I going to do with him:laughing:

Mike just called and wants to hand in his resignation tomorrow. He said he'll work two jobs if needed, but he just can't keep doing this. So, I am scared about what's going to happen, but I really don't think Mike can handle staying here much longer. I'm going to talk to him more about it tonight.

good luck Amber!!! I don't blame him one bit. I know its scary, but you'll make it through:hug: I'll be praying for you guys!

Nicole: How awful for that poor girl! Not only to have her account wiped out, but all her wedding planning money. I hope she can recover the money somehow.

Linda: Lyzzie would love playing with Kenny too, I think he is right about in the middle of the girls' ages. That would be awesome if you could go! Just think about how much fun the kids would have in their favorite place. I haven't even had a chance to look at my pics yet, I brought my camera to work and it's not as crazy as yesterday but my boss is still here and I've just been busy with little things. Sheesh, don't they know I have Christmas cards to design? ;)

Amber: I hope Mike can find another job where they appreciate him. It sounds like maybe his boss is going through a rough time and taking it out on everyone else? But it does seem like managment is a little... shall we say lacking? I know you said there isn't much else around, but I've found that if you look hard enough and are willing to expand your horizons a little bit, something is always out there. Maybe he could try a slightly different job? It never hurts to apply, even if he thinks he's not qualified. "Fake it 'till you make it" is scary as heck but can work wonders! Best of luck to both of you. What awful timing on the whole thing.

Yeah, he'll be 7 in Feb. but as you saw... he doesn't meet a stranger, he's so outgoing, he'll talk to anyone that will listen:rotfl: That would be too cool! It would be the convincing Mike that would be the hard part:scared:  we'd have a blast for sure! Just another reason I should get an ap:rotfl:

I know exactly what you mean, my boss is right behind me on a conf. call:rolleyes1

Thanks for the support; you all are the best. :grouphug:

Lyzziesmom, he would prefer not to do the same thing, so he is looking at anything that he even remotely qualifies for. Each job he's had has been a complete change from the one before, so he has a bunch of varied skills. I am hoping that helps him.

The timing is horrible. That's another thing I don't understand. Just a few weeks ago his boss told him when the baby is born, Mike could have off a few days (and it not go against his vacation time). This was just offered, Mike never even mentioned taking time off. Now, they accuse him of sitting home???
It makes me mad, especially since Mike has missed several doctor's appointments (including two ultrasounds) because he didn't want to miss work.

our boss can be like that too... complete JERK! But... they pay well and you can't make what we make just anywhere....its like he knows he has you, so he treats ya like crap b/c he has control:mad: or thinks so anyway:sad2: I'm sure if he gets to leave soon, they'll see what they lost, but it'll be too late. Sorry he's missed appt's:guilty: I'm sure he didn't want to miss the ultrasounds especiall!!

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! It's a bit nippy here...20*. I swear the wind is whipping through the house!

Amber....I am so sorry you and Mike are having to go through all this stress with his work. It sounds like he really needs to get out of there, those people are crazy!:scared1: They are not going to value his hard work until they lose him, then they will realize what a hard working employee the lost because of their stupidity! DH has been through the same thing, and boy did they miss him when he was gone! He moved to a different area in the co they would keep calling him for help because he was the only one that knew how to do a lot of the programing stuff!

Linda...Oh yeah! That Cast Member only store (Company D) is so great! You can get some really cool cast only stuff! There also was a place, can't remember what it's called but it sells (or sold it's been 11 years since I worked there) stuff that was damaged or overstocked, unclaimed lost and found, and discontinued stuff. I loved that store and got some really great stuff there! Ahhh, those were the days! I sure miss my 30% off discount!:sad1: I am dieing laughing at Kenny "studying" the keys of the ATV.:lmao:

Well I got the referral, they made it clear it was for one visit for the testing and that is it! It also has to be used by Dec 17. I called to make an appointment and there is a waiting list.:headache: That's o.k. though, at least she's on it! :yay: She did say that it would bump her up a little having the referral. :cheer2: I told her how hard it was to get the Dr to even write the darn thing and she went on to say how yep, it's like pulling teeth. She said one day we will have a president in office that cannot speak clearly or has poor writing skills because he was passed around by people when he was a kid saying....you help him, no you help him, he's fine! She said then you know the rules will change!:lmao:

Well that took up most of my morning so I'd better get cracking! I have lots to do starting with washing my comforter that the dog puked on at 2 this morning! :headache: At least the part she got on my I was able to wash off! Nothing like being woke up to a dog puking on you! :thumbsup2

Have a great day guys!

I can't wait to go there! I'm sure I'll buy tons of stuff!

Hopefully Maddie will be able to get an appt quickly!

Ewww.... I'm sorry Gracie puked on you comforter!

He totally cracks me up! You know how he is, you've been around him:rotfl2: so serious and grown up:cool2:
wow...what a store....I think I need a job THERE!!!:woohoo:
Hope Maddie gets in soon! After all you've been through, they better get her at the TOP of that list:snooty:
Oh man...sorry Gracie woke you up w/that...eek!

I can't wait to go there! I'm sure I'll buy tons of stuff!

that will be too awesome! You'll have to tell me about it:cloud9: Wow!!!

omg...I'm going back and forth and back and forth...do we drive, do we fly, do I add on a few days:rolleyes1 :rotfl: do I rent a car.... geesh...I thought I had it all figured out and now Mike says he'll fly if I want to.... AHHHH! I heard the busses at SOG are horrible...so...what to do, what to do! I love having a car there...maybe rent a car while we're at SOG and drop off at TTC:confused3 pullinghairoutsmilie!

Lesa: That's so awful that even the specialist knows it's hard to get an appointment. Hopefully all that will change, and soon! Healthcare has become such a mess, it really shouldn't be so hard just to get treatment. I'm glad you finally got it and got Maddie on the list! Oh no, dog puke! Last night I thought the girls were asleep, it was dead quiet in there and then I heard: "Mommy, I throwed up." "And she pooped too." Sure enough, Emma was on all fours, she had exploded from both ends at the same time. The poor girl was more surprised than upset, but she was pretty sad that she "throwed up" on her Mickey Mouse pillow. Needless to say, it was a long night.

That CM store sounds amazing! I wonder how many CMs blow their entire paycheck there? No wonder WDW has so much money - they pay low, and then make it easy for the CMs to give the money right back!

I think you should drive, and then use the money you save on airfare and a rental car to come back in January. ;)

 well...what I was thinking...scary I know:rolleyes1  was if we flew..I'd actually change our itinerary around so we're not spending any more, just juggling around a bit..instead of checking out of Poly the 26th, we could check out Christmas day and since that would save $300...we could fly in the 14th or 15th instead of checking in the SOG the 16th:confused3 I just don't know what to do..we could rent a car the whole time for $122 for a G6 type car... ahhh decisions decisions...Kenny hasn't flown since he was 2 and really wants to fly down, but ....I really dont want to spend a ton more cash or really fly out Christmas day...but 15 hr drive in Dec. is not fun either:headache: Mike could care less...he just says, let me know what you decide:rotfl: uh...thanks!

I have flown on Christmas Day before (not to Orlando though) and it's not bad at all, because most people want to get their traveling done before Christmas Day and then they go back home a day or two after, but the day itself is a pretty good day to fly! I just love flying.

I'm always do the opposite, and plan on flying but try to consider how much it would cost to drive to Orlando. I love driving, but it's FAR (2 to 2.5 days) and ends up costing nearly as much as flying, when you factor in gas, food, hotels and the extra days off work.

I know what you mean! It's such a far trip! My family has driven over there twice but that was over 10 years ago. I have to limit myself on how much junk I take with me down there, I'm sure my little car will be stuffed to the brim. I would love to fly to Orlando, but I really want to bring my car, I don't want to rely on the buses for the most part. I'm sure I'll have TONS of friends when they realize I brought my car.

If I were going there to work, I'd have to drive because I'd have too much to bring just in suitcases! I'd probably have to rent a trailer to haul it all back, what with the CM store and discounts and all.

From what I remember of the Orlando city bus system, yeah you'll definitely want to bring your car. It'll take you half the day without it just to make a grocery run.

I'm going through the Christmas pictures I took last night. I did find 3 or 4 good one, but in between those are ones like these:

47b7cf08b3127cceb1cb0697ca3f00000025100IaMWzNoybMe

Look, the whole family is possessed! Devil eyes!

I'm seriously considering using this one on the cards:

Emma tried to strangle Lyzzie...

...and then tried to strangle Roxy too!

I'm planning on just putting my stuff in huge trash bags and putting them in my car. I'm also bringing a huge sharpie! My name is going on EVERYTHING! No one better use my stuff without my permission!!!!:rotfl: If all else fails and I have too much stuff to bring, my parents friend's brother and his family live over there, really close to the parks. I might see if they will let me ship some stuff over to them and we'll pick it up when we arrive. I'm trying to convince my parents to stay on site so they can use ME, who knows if I'll have time to take them to the airport on check in day, they might see if my cousin who is a flight attendant will give them some buddy passes.

Sorry, just thinking out loud here......

that is what I figured too...I've flown Thanksgiving day and it was great... we drive 15 hrs straight...it isn't horrible and I do like being able to pack whatever I want and of coarse having tons of room to BUY stuff:laughing:

oh man....Mike says NO to Jan:sad1: I figured that...but ya gotta at least try:laughing:

that would be cool!!! buddy passes are always great too!!

I guess I'll have to keep going for the airline job so we can get those darn perks!
