Hi, everyone!!! I hope you all had a great Monday!!

Welcome home, Nicole!! I'm glad you had a good time and we'll want to hear all about your trip!!:yay:

pozey:: Enjoyed the pics of your weekend in OKC. Sorry Chase wasn't feeling his best. Nathan complained of a sore throat yesterday and his game last night didn't go so well.:guilty:

Michele:: Thumbs up to Bree's new boyfriend. Sounds like a really nice guy.

YourMajesty:: Glad to hear you made it home safely. :goodvibes
Our 2x2s still seems to be missing. I did give her information about Yahoo/AT&T High-speed internet.:rolleyes1

Lesa:: I'm happy to hear that Maddie isn't allergic to Gracie. Have a fun week with the girls!!:dance3:

lyzziesmom::I'll bet Emma is going to love her new camera....sounds really cool!!
I know you'll make the right decision about Dusty. Try not to feel so guilty.

Hi, Lin, DznyFan, Amber, Ashley and Linda!!!

How about some French Toast this morning? Just say oui, oui!!

wc_frenchtoast.jpg

I hope you all have a Totally Awesome Tuesday!!:hippie:

Good Morning Everyone!

I just got back from the doctor. I was told that I still don't need to start medication for the diabetes. My blood pressure also looked good.

The tech asked if the baby moved a lot and I said yes. (I swear there are two babies and one is just hiding. :) ) She started to do the ultrasound and all he was doing was kicking and punching. She told him he needed to calm down. The pictures I have again show his little fist getting ready to punch.

He is measuring a little big and weighs about 1 lb 14 oz. Both she and the doctor asked how tall Mike was and then how tall family was because he is long. So, it looks like he may be tall.

Everything else looks good.

I better go catch up. Have a great day everyone!

Nice. We could see them all the way in Midwest city. Might have been nice to be a little closer. Did you eat at Abuelo's downtown? Have you been to Ted's in OKC or just Tulsa?

Yes, we ate at the Abuelo's downtown. We were going to walk around Bricktown and ride the canal boats and stuff before someone told us about the Capital Building being open and stuff. We spent a good 1.5 to 2 hours in the Capital Building.

I've been to Ted's in OKC and Tulsa. The one in OKC has MUCH better service. MUCH better.

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Lin- My prayers go out to that family. :grouphug:

Ashley- Cute dress!

Lyzziesmom- I'm sorry about Dusty. I know you'll make the right decision.

Michele- Happy Belated Birthday!!! All that scrapbooking sounds like fun! Maybe you could come help me! :rotfl: I have a ton of Disney stuff just waiting for me and no idea where to start! I think I'll probably go to a crop night at Michael's. Bree's new BF sounds like a great guy!

Pozey- Great pics, sounds like you guys had a good time! I love the one of them leaning on the building!

Lesa- I bet the dog's thankful that Maddie isn't allergic to her! :rotfl:

Amber- No meds! :yay: That's great news! So Spencer was kicking and punching and he might be tall? So cute!

I'll give ya'll a mini trip report in my next post.

Good morning everybody! Sorry been mia...just been a crazy few days!!

I'll try to catch up some...hope all is well w/everyone:grouphug:

Welcome back Nicole! Can't wait to hear all about it and of course -- see pictures!!

Lesa: So glad to hear Maddie's not allergic to the dog. Sounds like between you & her teacher, you can get a plan in motion for her soon. Best of luck!

Well, I was going to stay around and chat but my eyelids aren't cooperating.

I'm having that very same problem this morning.

I'll bet Emma is going to love her new camera....sounds really cool!!

Oui oui! ;) Yeah I think she'll love it. My mom said Emma was running around "taking pictures" with her binoculars yesterday. She was trying to get the dog to pose for her.

Amber: Yay, still no meds!! So you've got a little (or should I say BIG?) sucker-puncher in the works, huh? Sounds like he'll be lots of fun! Remind me -- when are you due?

pozey: That sounds like a lovely day you had in OKC.

Yesterday I talked to my mom about Dusty. She suggested sending her to "Grandpa's farm" - with the promise that he won't shoot her. When I was 2, we moved and our cat PuddyPaw went to live on Grandpa's farm, where he had a good life for 16 years. Right up until just about the time I got Dusty, actually. However, Mom forgot that my granparents are moving into town and the farmhouse will be empty. Oh he still goes there twice a day to tend to the few remaining animals (mostly barn cats and hunting dogs) but it won't be a good environment for Dusty. It would be the equivalent of driving her into the woods - in the winter, no less - and setting her free. So, back to square one.

I told my mom that I never should have taken Dusty home again, because now it'll just be that much harder to let her go. I'm trying to get the kids used to the idea that she won't be around much longer, that she has to go but it's just a matter of where and when. Lyzzie understands but Emma is pretty upset.

Hi Linda! I hope things have been good crazy, and not bad crazy.

Hi to everyone else too -- gotta get some work done in preparation for my DAY OFF tomorrow!

Amber: Yay, still no meds!! So you've got a little (or should I say BIG?) sucker-puncher in the works, huh? Sounds like he'll be lots of fun! Remind me -- when are you due?

I'm due March 6. I don't think I'll make it that far. Since the diabetes can cause larger babies, I don't think they'll let me go full term and end up with a 10+ lb baby. I am really hoping for a natural birth, but that can't happen if he's too big.

I am so sorry about Dusty. I think the best thing would be for him to go to a shelter. It will be hard, but if you don't do something, you'll end up hating him. Good luck with your decision.

Nicole, welcome back!!!! I can't wait to hear all about it.

Day 1

We got on the plane and headed over to Orlando. Now I wouldn't include this since it's just your average plane ride, but Steven being Steven, made a friend on the way over there. You see once he warms up to you, he talks alot! Lin and Chris got a small taste of this when we met. :teeth: He started talking to a woman who was staying at the Fort Wilderness campgrounds for 25 days!!!! Lucky!!! Her parents have an RV or something like that. I really wasn't paying too much attention to their conversation because I was listening to my iPod. :music: They talked for almost the entire plane ride! So I'm glad he was entertained. We landed and headed over the the ME desk and then waited on the bus for a while before we finally headed on over to AKL. The resort is beautiful! Once there, I checked us in and Steven headed to Zawadi Marketplace because he forgot his toothbrush. We got a upgrade to a Savannah view room!:yay: :woohoo: :cool1: We headed on to our room and the first thing we did was see if any animals were out in the savannah. There were 2 giraffes in the distance. :woohoo:

Day 2 coming soon.

Nicole: What a great start to your trip - an upgrade! I can't wait to hear all about AKL, I've always wanted to stay there. Oh but I suppose I'd settle for an RV at FW if it meant 25 days at WDW.

The man did not survive his accident
omg that is so terribly sad. It just breaks my heart even more when there is a baby on the way. prayers for the family!
I just found this while looking for something else, and for some reason it cracked me up! I'd put it in my signature, but I'm kinda attached to my Beverly and Pirates pictures.
so am I!! I LOVE that pic of Emma. Everyday when I see your posts, I crack up at that face of hers:laughing: makes my day!

After Christmas, I hate the cold.

My mom, sis, niece and I are making our annual Christmas shopping trip

Linda:: Have fun this weekend!! I know you must be getting excited about your trip!!
me too, oh wait, I hate the cold before Christmas too:rotfl: I admit it, I'm a wimp when it comes to being cold!!!!
Hope you had fun shopping!
Yes...I sure am!
How about breakfast at the Crystal Palace this morning? Got to have some Tigger waffles!!
thanks Donna!

Whew- I am home and exhausted!!! We've been gone since 2:30, and I think I may have overdid it- I am still sick and am feeling it right now!!...BUT, I got ALL my Christmas shopping done-
Hope you're feeling better Ashley! Yay for finishing your Christmas shopping!!
Happy Birthday Michele!!
mmballoon-1.jpg

Sorry I missed it this weekend
65UK2CAL060I9CA033VGECAVR7F17CAZA6W.jpg

Now I know what I want for Christmas!! I can see where this could get really out of hand
oh tell me about it!! I love scrapbooking!! Great Bree is out having some fun. I agree w/lyzziesmom, it is hard to find a good guy at any age when you have kids to raise.

Our waterheater is officially kaput.
oh bummer!! I know that is such a pain!hopefully you get it fixed quick and easy!
Why don't we join them at Epcot? We can grab a quick bite at Sunshine Seasons!
thank you Donna! Love the avatar too!!:cloud9:

Oh I am really getting into the scrapbooking thing. I got about 15 pages done yesterday.
Well it is 'official' Briana and Dan are a couple. He seems very nice. They went ice skating last night, then came home to watch a movie. He even agreed to watch Ratatouille.
15 pages done!!!:yay: that is fantastic!! It is pretty time consuming, isn't it!!
Glad to hear Dan is a nice guy! Even watched Raratouille!! Cool! We watched it this weekend too! Kenny saw it w/his dad and really liked it.

Good morning!
Maddie woke me up at 7:30 this morning to tell me she let me sleep in.She was very excited and proud of herself.I guess it's better than the 6:30 she normally wakes me up. It's like she wakes up with so much to say, she can't hold it in until I wake up. Some of her best conversations are first thing in the morning.

I don't have Christmas shopping done either. I have one thing bought and that's it! I told Maddie that there was not going to be as many presents under the tree this year, and she said she already knew that. She said there are a lot more poor kids this year and Santa needs to share some of her presents with them. I was actually proud of her answer. It cracks me up that she is still a strong believer. I have a feeling that when she's married her husband's going to have to take over the job of Santa so as not to disappoint her.

Well hubby is home from hunting! I sent him up to take a shower, OMG did he smell!!!

My kiddies are off school all week, so I have to come up with some stuff to keep us busy!

Have a great day everyone!!!
Hey there Lesa:hug: Maddie is just too cute!! She let you sleep in, and she already knows that there are more poor kids this year! omg....she's got it all figured out! Yeah, I bet he needed that shower pretty bad:laughing: kiddies off all week!!! wow..Kenny gets Thurs and Fri. off... same as me!

Gracie sure as heck missed her daddy! She wouldn't even let him in the door, I'm surprised she didn't pee she was so happy Well gotta run, Dh is finished showering so I can officially welcome him home!!!
oh how cute:rotfl2: have fun "welcoming" David home:rolleyes1
Dan has already been texting Bree today. I'm sure we will see him later. It will be funny to see Zach's reaction to another guy with Lilly. Bree has had to deal with that visual from the very beginning. Oh and he has another girlfriend. I think this is 6 since Lilly was born
It will be hilarious to see Zach in that situation!! Let him see some other guy holding his little girl!!
Gooood mornng, everyone!! I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was pretty good.
On my shopping trip yesterday, I got exactly ONE present bought. Pretty much what I had expected. I did find a couple of long-sleeved t-shirts for Nathan to wear to school and a red and gray sweater for Christmas.
glad you had a good weekend. One present huh... I ended up buying more...of coarse:lmao:

He gave me my Photobook I made. I LOVE:love: it!! It is sooo cool! I have already started another one...maybe it will be my Christmas gift
Have a great day everyone...Only 2 days of school this week
that is awesome Michele!!!

I thought I would mention that there have been some georgeous pictures of the castle posted on the Disney Picture of the Day thread on the Theme Park board. They are really breathtaking!!

Here is a link. I hope it works..

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=836587&page=2063
those ARE awesome!! I hope I get some good ones in a few weeks!!

that girl is FUNNY! We had the giggles so bad we both were crying from laughing so hard, and I can't even tell you what was so funny because it really wasn't, it was just that she was saying "butt," but she was pronouncing it really weird and it cracked us both up.
those times are the times I treasure more than anything! Just truly having a great time together laughing and having a good time:cloud9: Just makes me melt!!!
Thanks Donna... I really really REALLY want to go to WDW! I should just say to heck with Christmas... let's go to WDW instead!
yes...you should just come to wdw instead:rolleyes1
The boys had another swim meet in Oklahoma City this past weekend. They did alright. Chase, unfortunately, got sick at school Friday. He wasn't able to swim Friday night, but swam Saturday and Sunday. He swam okay, but not great. He still didn't feel 100%.

I did, get some great pictures though. I'll post them later.

After swimming Saturday, we were eating at Abuelo's when someone told us we should go to the Capital Building in OKC. So we did.

It was GREAT. Had a great time.

Took some really good pictures there too.
aww Sorry Chase wasn't feeling well!
Here are a few pictures of us visiting the Oklahoma Capital Building.
Awesome pics!!! Love the swimming ones too!

Yeah, I'm kind of twisted like that.
that is awesome! I love those too!

I exchanged the camera for the v-tech one
that will be so cool! I think she'll love it!

Thanks for letting me vent.
vent away!!:grouphug:

Hi everyone!

I'm home. We had a great time and I'm exhausted. I'll get caught up later.
Yay!! well, you know what I mean... glad you made it safely and had a good time. I know you were wanting to stay a little longer...but I'm sure it was great!!! I can't wait to read your TR!! love the castle pic!

My boys only have two days of school this week too...I'm not sure if I'm glad or sad. Just don't tell them that. My little one was asking me if he could have an early dismissal tomorrow since it's like a Friday...I'm like NO.
I won't tell:rotfl: NO... I don't blame you there....It's LIKE Friday:rotfl2: smart little cookies huh!
We could see fireworks from our balcony.
that is awesome
this teacher is right there on the same page as me. She is the first person in the school system that admits to seeing the exact same thing I keep saying is the problem. It makes me so mad because if her speech/language was worked on from the beginning we wouldn't be where we are today. I know, I can only move forward from here, but it's still so frustrating!!!

Oh and I got Maddie's allergy test results. The only thing that came back that she is extremely allergic to is several different molds. She isn't allergic to Gracie.
good the teacher agrees w/you and is on the same page! I'm sure it is very frustrating!! Sorry Lesa! but..yay she's not allergic to Gracie!:woohoo:

Good Morning Everyone!

"he needs to calm down:rotfl2: that's a good one! Great news on the "no" meds yet and bp looking good! Sounds like he's is doing great!!!

Good morning Linda
Good morning pozey!!

She was trying to get the dog to pose for her.

Hi Linda! I hope things have been good crazy, and not bad crazy.

Hi to everyone else too -- gotta get some work done in preparation for my DAY OFF tomorrow!
:lmao: good luck Emma...getting the dog to pose!
Yeah...some good and some bad I guess. Typical life:laughing:
yeah...gotta get ready for that day OFF!! SWEEEEET!

I forgot to mention, I haven't heard anything yet about the CP. :( I'm starting to worry that maybe I didn't get in. Wednesday will be the 2 week mark from my interview, so I guess on Friday if I haven't heard anything yet, I'll send an email to the representative. :( Yesterday when we were at DTD I thought about going to the casting center to see if they could tell me anything about it. I'm just so impatient!

I'm due March 6.
I was wondering when you were due!! It will be here before you know it!

25 days  oh, I would LOVE that! I use to have an RV...but never at wdw!! that would be so much fun!! Sounds like Steven had a great conversation on the way and a Savannah view upgrade:banana: :woohoo: that is AWESOME!!! Kenny would have been in HEAVEN!! I can't wait to hear more!

good luck Nicole. I know it's hard to wonder and can't wait to see what is going to happen!

So, Friday night...I'm driving home and Mike informs me that we're having company....2 other couples are coming over to visit for awhile:cool1: well, that was fun. We don't get to see everyone nearly often enough so we got to socialize for a few hours. Well, evidentally I said something Mike did NOT like and he chose to confront me about it Sat.:headache: completely ruined my day! I was seriously ready to cancel the trip and say forget it. B/C our neighbor asked me what we were doing for Christmas and Kennys gifts. I said I was taking a tree and putting some small stuff for him there. He flipped saying NO way I was taking a tree...blah blah..and I thought he was joking since I already told him what I planned on doing...well evidentally he forgot and said no way. So, Sat...he comes asking me if I was joking and if I was really planning on taking a tree down w/us...uhhhh YEAH...like I am REALLY going to let my 6 year old child wake up Christmas morning w/o a tree and gifts to open...Disney or not:mad: so...all day Sat. pretty much, I wasn't in the best of moods and ready to just say forget it. Why should I pay k's on a vacation if I'm not going to have a good time and every little thing will get an attitude:headache: ....well of coarse we talked more and Mike finally remembered this conversation we had b/c he said he didn't want me to take his cars down b/c they're so expensive and he's an adult and don't need all that "stuff"... Sunday...I did some Disney stuff...laminating more sheets for our trip and getting small stuff out... Yesterday...Mike was spending the day riding atv's w/the guys so I stayed home. Kenny was w/his dad over the weekend, he'll be w/him Wed-Sun this weekend and he'll have him the weekend after too:sad1: ...so I made the decision yesterday to just keep him home w/me:cloud9: we went shopping all day, ate out and just had a ball together. I got him 4 shirts at TDS...I got some new sweaters for our trip at Macys...and spent WAY too much at Dicks Sporting Goods...I love Under Armour...but:scared: it adds up too fast!!! I got 4 shirts there and a new pair of tights to wear under my jeans...yes I like to be WARM:rotfl:
Kenny can't wait to do it again. He asked me if we could do it again today:rotfl2: no, sorry! He's only missed 2 days now...so, I wasn't worried:cloud9:

Linda: Those "extra" days off are so great aren't they? I bet Kenny loved it! I've done that with Lyzzie once in a blue moon, just keep her home and do something fun. It's getting harder now that she's getting older, because her teacher expects her to make up all her homework AND in-class work. When we got back from WDW, Lyzzie only missed 4 days of school and had a huge packet with over 30 pages to finish!! Oh that stinks about the miscommunication with Mike about the tree. I wonder why it's such a big deal to him? Oh well, I'm glad you got it all worked out and didn't cancel your trip. He'll feel like a dope once you get there and he sees all the surprises you have planned!

Nicole: I really hope you get into the CP! Do you know how soon people usually find out? Isn't there a board for it on the DIS somewhere, maybe you can find out there how long it takes? If they don't choose you, it's their loss. I can't imagine why they wouldn't!

We are turning in Lyzzie's Girl Scout cookie order form today, and she sold 22 boxes of cookies! That's very good for her, last year she sold around 6.

I looked for Bon Jovi tickets online and I think I waited too long. The only seats available are in the way upper upper balcony, behind the stage and partially obstructed. Oh, and they are still over $60 each, plus all the Ticketmaster fees. Yeah, I don't think so.

oh, I think we both did:cloud9: we did a lot of shopping and playing. it was great. we don't get much alone time together but I told him we will more often. He loved every bit of it! yeah, its much easier to do that now when he gets NO homework and is doing very well in class. Oh, I think he realized it when I said no way Christmas morning would I let Kenny wake up w/o a tree. there is just no way I would ever agree to that! I remembered the conversation very well and so did he.....eventually:sad2: you know how they are, stubborn streaks at times:laughing: I hope he likes the surprises too. who knows.

way to go Lyzzie!! That is great! Sorry there aren't any good/reasonable Bon Jovi tickets left!! what a bummer!!
