I'm so sorry Amber. You guys should not have to go through this. Maybe Mike should get together a resume and send it out in the meantime. My weekend went by way too fast. Mike had to work a bit both days. He is pretty close to quitting. He wants me to type up his notice today. The company STILL has not yet fixed the van, sent another, or even bothered to answer him about when something will be done. We can't afford to rent a truck again (especially considering how much they already owe him).
He couldn't sleep at all last night and is just so unhappy. This isn't a good time of year for him anyway since he doesn't really have family here to celebrate his birthday and the holidays. To add the stress of his job on top is just too much for him.

Have fun!!!Yes, I do, I go in at 4. I'm kind of nervous!I know I shouldn't be though.
Oh, call them back. They should give you your ADR's!Does anyone know if the people at CRO can see how any times you've called them and what for?I called to confirm everything with them and when the lady transfered me to dining because I somehow lost my ADR conf. numbers, the person wouldn't give them to me! She said to just get them from the resort.
I need those numbers! I think I'll call back later on tonight.
That stinks! I hope Emma's new feather turns out alright!I am so mad at my mom. (Feel free to skip the upcoming mom-rant.)
Emma brought home a note from her teacher last week mentioning (among other things) that she's anxious to see tomorrow how all the kids decorated their paper turkey feathers. I just saw the note today, and the project is due tomorrow. I asked my mom what that was about -- since she always says she leaves checking Emma's backpack up to me -- and she said, "Uh oh, she was supposed to do something with that? I threw it out." She also threw out the paper explaining the assignment. Arrrrgggggh!! Either save the backpack for me or don't, but don't decide what's trash without reading the flyers!! Drives me nuts. I'm paying for this preschool, this is her first "homework" assignment, and my mom threw it away!!
I love egg nog! Especially the Southern Comfort Spiced Egg Nog. But I mix mine with milk so it isn't quite so thick.I love this time of year for one reason above all others -- egg nog! I was flabbergasted to see that the little pint-sized egg nog snack I just had was supposed to be FOUR servings. There goes my calories for the day! Nevertheless, it's so yummy I can't resist.

No! But I did read on a thread about someone being glad they knew what it meant now because now they knew they wanted one...Do any of you know what the heck is the deal with all the dancing pickles in people's signatures? I'm assuming it's like the "boo" and other various holiday things, but I can't figure out why a pickle? I'm afraid to ask anywhere else.
It is definitely an inside joke of some sort...Maybe you can call and explain to them and get one of them applied to next month anyway.Oh crap. I think I accidentally double-paid two of my credit cards this pay period. They are both through the same bank, and the same thing happened on both of them. For some reason a payment wasn't showing up in the transaction history so I assumed I hadn't paid it and went ahead and paid it again... I just double-checked to see if they went through and realized what happened. Between that and the car stuff, no wonder my bank account is so low! The sucky thing is, all the payments were processed before the statement due date so I'm not really "ahead" on the payments, I still have to make my next scheduled payment too. Oh well, at least they'll be paid off quicker this way but that was NOT the way I meant to spend my money!
Well, I'm gonna eat me some pizza now!!!!

Ok, the ugly truth is my shoulder was hurting enough that I had to get up and get some tylenol.
Ummm...do you think I'm getting old?

I'll say "Hi!" I might fly into Ft. Lauderdale..not sure...checking all the flights and see what would work best.
).
I am going to try and update Mike's resume and have him send it out. There are things about his company that are good, but the bad is just starting to take over. His warehouse is great, but it's the rest of the company that sucks.
Then Lyzzie had a meltdown at my mom's house -- which we were 20 minutes late getting to for reasons I won't go into because they're too boring -- and she was bawling her eyes out, which of course brought my mom running to criticize my parenting style and tell me what was "wrong" with Lyzzie. What's "wrong" is... she's NINE! I asked her a simple question but she didn't quite get it and couldn't communicate what she was thinking, so she cried. It happens. But with me trying to calm Lyzzie down and Mom telling me it was all my fault, things just kept escalating. Just when I'd get her calmed down, Mom would have to get in another dig. I just kept repeating "Drop it!" to her. Ugh. So glad to be at work and get some peace and quiet!
