Yes, the first day of school wasn't as exciting as I "thought" it would be. My younger son is very reserved so if everyone else is excited he will bring out his best frown...don't know where in the world he would get that from.

Thanks I have a few hundred pix from our trip. I was afraid I'd get bored but it was a great trip. I'd like to go back. I have a ton of beautiful pix. Both of your sons look like they are great kids!

Melanie...that is too funny. I dated a guy in H.S. that lost weight by working in the warehouse at the Limited! It was a while back though. I think he's a cop now. Do you go to the Disney store very often?

He is cute and cuddly!! He is the sweetest child ever. So sweet and sensitive. You just want to squeeze him!!! Thanks, that pix was in the evening. We walked there from our hotel room. It was right behind the restaurant. We'd walk from our room to the restaurant and see several elk on the way. It was amazing...well til midnight when we awoke to the alarms blaring and we had to sit in our cars for over an hour b/c some idiot decided to try his bear spray and it went off and had to evacuate the hole building and that was our first night! I'll have to post some pix here and there!

Tonight we went shopping man I have been SOOO bad this week!! I bought Mike a gun for Christmas ... See...when Kenny is home I don't spend hardly anything at all...I've spent over 1k this week between his Christmas gift...my disneyshopping.com trip... I've got to have my child back! I've been so bad...oh well... I don't do it often at all...plus Mike would have us if I did that too much j/k Ok...I've got to get to bed...watch some for awhile! Well, we're back from open house!! I think Nathan is going to like his new teacher just fine!! She told him they are going to start the year studying insects!! What 7 year-old boy doesn't like bugs!!! First day is tomorow for just 2 hours. Back to he old routine.

Yesterday I booked a local gymnastics place for DS's birthday party! He is so excited to have a school kids party, we always just have family parties. I'm kind of excited too!!

A retired CEO of my DH's company gave us a $200 gift invitation. we have never been, but told it's pretty upscale. Would like to go for our anniversary. DS wouldn't be able to go, they don't exactly have a kids' menu!!

No, seriously, guess what?? We actually did save $1200 on our Oct. trip!!!!! WAAAA---HOOOO
My mom was having trouble the past couple of days getting through to WDW. She would get through the line but waited forever, so she called me this morning to tell me this. So, being the good DISer that I am, posted a question over on Strategies as to why this may be. I was told that the new discount codes came out. Hhhmmm, I checked it out, called my mom and gave her the code and she called tonight and we saved bunches. YAY. Thanks DISers!!! Wow, it pays to have "connections".


I can't stay up too late tonight because I have to work early in the morning and I am sooo tired from my day. I was non-stop and overbooked because our newest spa member had trouble with her license so she was not there tonight. Needless to say, I was literally running around trying to fit her clients inbetween mine and my books were already packed. My back is killing me!! One more day then I am off for the weekend. Yay for Friday.

Donna---Yes, I know of Tony's but have never been. It is a five-star so pretty fancy pantsy. I would love to go someday, though. My "famous" client that I have mentioned before goes all of the time and over the years that I have known her (9yrs) she has mentioned taking some of us, but it is just a matter of timing and that never seems to happen.
I know years ago people said that you could not drop a crumb without a waiter hovering over to clean it up, but now it is supposed to be a bit more lax in its "feeling" and atmosphere.

Wow, so much I wanted to say and I can't remember a bit of it at the moment. That little white box can be so intimidating! Busy day today, I had to lead a meeting I was totally unprepared for and somehow pulled it off *whew!*. I didn't get a lot done at the house after work, but the folks got a bit done today. Emma ran out onto the patio and promptly fell down & skinned her knee. She's such a tough cookie, she didn't even cry, just looked at it and said, "Pink! Need! Bandaid!" (she calls blood 'pink' for some reason) Mom had me scared about the paint colors in the Tinkerbell room, on the phone she mentioned that it looks lime green but she is color-challenged, and it's perfect.

Ok just realized I'm totally rambling. It's technically tomorrow and I have a long weekend ahead of me, but I'll be the first to say "Happy Friday!!!" before I sign off for the night.

I have to share a funny dream I had last night. First though, I must give a bit of a back story.

Back story--last week I had a meeting with one of my co-workers who is now my "coach"--well, coach to the whole spa team. So, we have this "one on one" meeting, which we have every month, so no biggy, right?? Well, this one went a bit differently than expected. So, we were talking about ways to improve my business--aka--meet the crazy and outrageous goals that they have set for me now, and she, out of no-where starts attacking something that is very personal to me. She unintentionally does this, but it hit me so hard and so to the core that I left very upset. I got home and immediately called my sister and the whole afternoon and evening just had a pit in my stomach and every so often just burst into tears. I seriously did not want to go back--pretty sad after being there for nine years. Anyway, I went to work the next evening and "cleared the air" with her, as I could not let it eat me up inside. I politely told her how much it hurt me and so on. Now keep in mind that I am a non-confrontational person and I know I joke here but am seriously fairly quiet so this was a big deal for me. Of course, she is being really sweetsie to me now, because she knows she is wrong and should not have even opened her mouth about the situation. She never did apologize, though, but in her mind I'm sure she thinks she did.

So, on to my dream--I actually had a dream that I really had it out with this girl--I mean, explatives flying all over and really gave her a piece of my mind. I know this may sound like not a big deal, but I woke up this morning laughing and feeling much better.
Ahhhh--what a good day it will be.

I haven't gotten a CD made myself, but they provide the CD.

If you wait until you get home, you can go to Walmart and have the CD made. You can also have all the pictures printed out. Just go to the kiosk, put your card in, follow directions, and your done.

You can also upload them to a website and have prints made. If you use the Walmart site, you can have the pictures made within an hour, then go to the store and pick them up.

There's a BUNCH of sites and they usually have specials (free prints, free shipping, etc).

I finally made the decision to stay at POP instead of ASSp. I talked to Mike about it and he said that it wasn't that much more and he didn't want me to settle.

I am so glad I got to use a discount code! I saved money over the AAA discount (plus, I am no longer dealing with the snotty TA). now, if I can just get a discount on my rental (we rent a car and drive down).

Don't let her get to you. Come and vent w/us. She is obviously and doesn't know what the heck she is talking about. I am a very non-confrontational person too...usually just keep quiet and do my job...but there are times GRRR !!I'm so glad you feel better. I do too...I was so angry at my co-worker yesterday morning I was ready to knock his head off his shoulders!!! I was !!! I've spent the last few months learning all this billing... making all the calls, getting the headaches and going through the whole process of learning all this...he and I were BOTH supposed to be doing. He always said he's too busy to learn it... b/c he was too busy chatting on his corvette forum...which I'm on here some too...but I get my work done!!!! So, yesterday he had the nerve to ask me to learn how to do it ...he spent most of the day billing. He is just jealous b/c he wants a laptop too...he wants the CEO thanking him too for all his hard work yada yada yada...he is so immature and pathetic! He didn't want any part of the work but now I've got it all figured out and a smooth process going, now he wants to jump in and take over the easy stuff... I DONT THINK SO!!! So, I talked to my boss about it! He's been mad at him about it too!!! So he's just going to exclude him from any of the billing stuff. I feel much better too! I usually keep my mouth shut and just go on...but not this time... he messed w/me the WRONG WEEK!!! My child has been gone 8 nights.... this wedding b.s... and it's PMS... I admit it! The wrong time to pull his crap!!! Thankfully w/you guys here...it is so nice to have people to talk to!!

Good Morning!! I totally missed yesterday and I had to go back through what seemed like a million pages.

Connor's hands are doing much better today they were good enough to go to school without the bandages. I appreciate everyone checking up on him too sweet!

I called Disney yesterday and used the new code to save on our Thanksgiving trip, so excited about that! Also spent most of my day yesterday preparing for my little TA talk before a pampered chef party. All went well, I gave out bags filled with Disney info, cruise stuff etc. And then I showed some of the Disney planning video on Magic Kingdom/Animal Kingdom and everyone got excited, so hopefully I'll get some business through that!

Melwood--that whole bike riding thing sounds awesome, there aren't a lot of places to ride near where we live.

Congrats to all the kids starting school this week, hope their 1st days were great!

eta...hey there Angela Kenny is supposed to be home at 3!!! Ahhh I love pampered chef I have most of their stuff...I just got the mixing bowls that measure inside and have the nice black stackable lids!!! Mike does most of the cooking...he likes them I haven't gotten to use them yet. I got Michelle pampered chef for wedding gifts!!! Hope you get some business from it!!

DonnaLeah: I am always grumpy when I am hungry lol.

As for what I do for being up so early, I work for a cable service company. I am the only female repair tech. Been doing it for 17yrs, except for a 20month unemployment stint back in 2002/2003 (long story). Work doesn't officially start till 7am, but I have always gotten to work early, and we have enough work to have us get plenty of OT. I get to work anywhere from 1 to 3 hrs early (depending on how I feel that morning ). I got to get those vacation funds kept up!!

Well back to work, can only post during breaks...will try to catch up later this evening.
