I think I will give up on trying to read all the post lol...

Thanks for the welcomes. Will join in once in a while for now, till I get to know everyone.

Don't be surprised if you see me on here at 5 or 6am. Since I cut back on caffine a few years ago...I am now a morning person...and no longer a night owl. I do still have my big jolt of coffee in the morning, found out my POP Century cup is just perfect for my one big cup :coffee: . During work days I stop the caffine at lunch time.

this rule is out the window when I am on vacation, especially at WDW, I need all the wided and bushy tail I can get :woohoo:

Some other things about me...I am into bike riding!! I bought a new bike in spring, and have ridden it more this summer than I had my last bike which I have had for like 12 yrs!!! Course it helps that I have some really nice multi-use trails near my house, one of which is only 1.8 miles by bike. The other one I have to tow the bike, for now, till the one I can ride to is connected to the other one. Soooo many bike trails to explore just in Ohio alone. My next group to join is the Rail to Trails Conservancy. Can't wait till Oct 2007 (if I can ever get a hold of WDW to book it) and Fort Wilderness...my bike is coming with me :teeth:

Good morning Melanie!!! Good to see another morning person in our midst. I am somewhat the unofficial breakfast maker !!!
Today we are going to have cinnamon rolls!! Hot out of the oven and served with you favorite beverage. I'm eating mine in a shady spot in Epcot. How about you!!!! Mi mom of 3, how's it going in our World!!!

YUMM, that was delicious, I think I grab another!!!! :surfweb:

Tonight is DS's open house. It starts a 6:30pm and last until about 8:00pm. Tomorrow he goes to school for 2 hours.

Mommyintn::How are Connor's hands doing? Did you tell him all of his honorary aunts and uncle are thinking of him?? :sunny:

Gosh, I was saving that one for the next night!!! :rotfl2:

Melwood23::Good luck in getting hold of WDW to make your reservations!! You sound like such an outdoors person!! I think I would probably have a heart attack if I tried to ride a bike very far!!!!

Have a Happy Day-Before-Friday!!!!

Good Morning!!

I am working on getting a discount for our vacation, but I am so confused.

I called Disney myself (don't trust my TA  ) I have the following options:

ASSp: Package from 11/23-12/03. 10 day ticket and dining plan standard room. Total: $1763.20

or

POP: Room Only on 11/23; package 11/24-12/03. The room only is $112 and the package is $1753.88 (it's a preferred room) I will still have to pay for 2 meals OOP (one at Cape May; the other CS)

or

Keep my reservation with my TA:

POP: Room Only 11/23-11/26 ($301.58). Package with dining from 11/26-12/03 $1057.00. I have a one day ticket for each of us and need to but a 10 day for about $450 (give or take) I'll have to pay OOP for 6 meals (3 TS and 3CS)

OK, so it is really between the first 2 choices. I have no idea what ASSp is like (I never thought I would stay there but I'm not in the room that often). I will have the dining plan for the entire trip though.

I really want to stay at POP and I will get a preferred room (that doesn't mean much to me though), but it is more expensive.

OK, please help me. DH will just tell me to do what I want.

Maybe this is why my TA is annoyed with me.

DonnaLeah: ....that sure looks good, and since it is virtual food...I will have...2!

As for riding the bike, I think the bike helps. It is one of the easiest I have ever ridden, I mean I can go up one huge hill on one of the trails, that on my old bike I had to walk the bike up!!

But then again, since I rode my last bike I have lost about 40lbs!...
The second weekend I had my new one, I did a total of 26 miles, 15 on a Sat, and 11 on Sun. That was the most. I avg about 15 on a weekend.

Hi Mel...what kind of bike do you have? Hey, you sound like a good influence for me. I need to get up earlier, exercise more (I like riding my bike) and lose a little weight. So share a little more about all these healthy changes...like how did you stop drinking caffiene in the afternoon?

Donna: thanks for the breakfast. :goodvibes

POZEY---

I forgot I wanted to share this story with you ------you'll appreciate this one.

The other night I had a dinner to attend at one of my co-worker's house. We all ate dinner, which was fine and then she announces that she has chocolate chip cheesecake for dessert. Sound good so far?? Well, as we are clearing dinner plates to get ready for dessert she says that the recipe called for some "spring" pan--and she didn't have one so she made it in a different pan. My eyes are getting bigger and bigger----"you mean a springform pan", I asked?? "yeah, that's it", she answers. So, she goes to the fridge and starts walking towards us with her cheesecake in...............................

are you ready for this one................

go sit down..............

A PYREX GLASS BOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Insert smilie with her face in her hands shaking her head.

Guess what she's getting for Christmas??
:rotfl: :rotfl2: :sad2:
That is funny.
So how did it actually taste?

How much extra will it be to stay at the POP? I know what you mean...there is always a sacrifice somewhere. We opted for the non-hopper tickets last trip and saved about $175...not a big deal if hopping is a must but we did fine and booked another dinner for what we saved. I always look at as to where exactly do we want to spend the money...not always a easy answer. Good luck. :sunny:

Good morning chicas!! :cool1:

Well, Colton and I met with the Dermatologist yesterday. She talked with Colton about the possible procedure. She said that it is possible that the procedure could leave a scar about 6 millimeters right where the mole is. He said that he would rather have the scar than the mole. So, we now have to schedule the surgery.

Meet the Teacher day went well. Chase will have the same 2nd Grade teacher that Colton had. Everyone was excited that turned out the way it did. Colton did not get the teacher he had hoped for, but after meeting with his teacher, he was pleasantly surprised and glad that he got who he did. He was disappointed that some of his best friends are in other classes though.

First day of school today. Both were excited to be going back.

Well, I got the kiddies of to school today. My 6 year old can be such a stinker. He didn't wan't to take a picture and worked himself up some tears...and this was just at home. I did get one...I'll post it later after I download it. Long story short... I decided not to try a picture in the classroom...his brother walked him to class (although he told us he would walk himself)! I will stop now...... :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: I'm off to Target for a little shopping...that always helps. :teeth: (one more for the road)

It's an extra $103.00 to stay at POP and I will have to pay OOP for our Cape May dinner ($27.00 a person) and a CS lunch.

It's not a huge difference in money, but it is still a difference.

pozey, I had a mole removed from my neck when I was younger. You can hardly see the scar. It is much better than having the mole (that being said, I have a mole on my forehead, but it doesn't bother me so I'm leaving it alone).

Linda--again, LOL at Kenny's pics. Do I dare ask what was on his tongue that made it soooo blue?? Guitar?? How cute--I grew up with my dad playing the drums so I have a special place in my heart for musicians, not to mention JD plays the guitar---oops, did I mention that?? Here I go again. pirate:
2 more days!!!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :woohoo: :woohoo: Are you going to make it?? I would bake him his favorite cake for when he gets home, or whatever he likes--but I'm sure you already thought of that. So exciting to have your little man home again. Are you getting ready for the wedding??

Kenny loves gum, but I very rarely let him have it. I gave him this gum for kids called Tongue Splashers. They're gum balls that are all different colors and it makes your tongue REALLY bright! I am ready for the wedding to be over!! Isn't that awful! His fiance calls me and emails me constantly wanting help w/this and help w/that. I do what I can but come on. I really don't have a lot of free time. What time I do have...I spend w/Mike and Kenny. I don't want to go shopping after working 12 hours to look for shoes 20 times! thankfully that is all over and it's about here..thank goodness! TOMORROW Kenny will be home :woohoo: :cheer2:  :Pinkbounc I can't wait!!! I will have to make him some goodies to welcome him home with! Great idea :) Your nephew sounds so adorable!!! Awww... it is amazing the things they come up with. They're so smart!!

Good luck today Lyzziesmom...her first day of school!!! Have to take pix!! :thumbsup2

Linda and Lyzziesmom:: Those blue tongues are hilarious!! When DS eats different colored candy, he has to show me his tongue, too. One time he ate quite a few of the green Fruit By The Foot and pooped bright green!!! He had to show me that too!!!

:lmao: that sounds like what Kenny would do...so proudly :teeth: :rotfl2:

lyzziesmom, They are so cute!!

Linda, When I had the mole removed, they just frozen it and cut it off. No needle at all (I HATE needles, for some reason I pass out as soon as one touches me).

I didn't take any pictures this morning. However, I took some pictures in their summer day camp t-shirts yesterday. They had their friends and councilors sign the shirts.

Chase was very upset this morning because he came to the realization that he will not get to see his Jessica (councilor he had a crush on) anymore. Jessica assured him that she would be back next summer.
