NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Say it isn't so!

But really, I'm back after quickly skimming through the last night's posts...

2xcited - hang in there, girl! :grouphug: Oh - and the pic - I didn't take it - I would have been plowed over. My DH is 6'2" and kinda big. He just held up his little camera and shot it. He shot three more facing other directions, and they all look the same.
MIMom - glad your Blake's back, and sounds like he brought some really great stuff for you!
YM - Mmmm. Ted's. The sushi was good - a little place in BA opened up a while back, and we got ours from there last night. I guess it served as an appetizer, then we moved on to the filets. I don't think we ate 'dinner' until about 9:30 or 10:00 last night!
Pozey - beautiful place - just a gorgeous yard, and the redbuds...ah, I miss Spring.

Good morning pozey and dznyfan

I was on late last night so my morning is late too. Hey pozey, just brown a little sugar in the bottom of a pan then add equal amounts of sugar and water and boil...I add some mapleline and yummm syrup....nice and hot.

Dznyfan...glad you enjoyed your dinner last night. I'll take a beignet too.

You guys try to stay cool the next couple of days. Ds (9) had a bad headache last night :headache: ...he had played golf with a freind and his dad followed by an outdoor swim party from 2-4...I think he he a little too much sun.

Good morning everyone!

2X2S- :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Plenty of hugs for you. I know it's hard but stay strong.

Pozey- Those pictures of your house are just beautiful.

Lyzziesmom- Happy packing!

Okay, what is this Ted's resturant and is there one near Houston?

If anyone needs a good laugh go see Talledega Nights! It is so funny.

Hi Dzny fan and YM! :wave2:

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning all you Saturday Morning Sunshines------ :sunny:

Master Pozey, the dear king of our cyber domain, you offer steak and eggs, so where are they??

Are you teasing us??

Or are you asking us to provide??

It's all in the inflection of the voice, which knowingly we are unable to decifer.

How about steak and eggs for breakfast??--as in-- here you go sweetie pie, lovey dovey, shoogy moogy, I slaved over a hot stove, laboring until it was all cooked to perfection. Eat to your heart's content.

OR

How about steak and eggs for breakfast??--as in-- just rolling out of bed, scratch scratch, shuffle shuffle, hair tossled, sleepy eyes, "where's my breakfast, derogatory female puppy word??"

So, which is it????

You decide--but decide v.e.r.y gingerly.

just teasin', my friend :teeth: :teeth:

Mickey waffle iron?? Don't tell Lyzziesmom--you'll have to guard it with your life.

DznyFan--thanks for your concern. :grouphug:
Chicago, huh?? Believe it or not, I live in St. Louis and I've only been to Chicago twice in my life and both were shopping extravaganzas. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with that, but I would love to go back to visit the museums and such. The King Tut exhibit is there right now. Also, I missed Wicked when it was in town here and I am dying to see it. How far in advance did you get your tickets?? I have heard it is pretty impossible to get them for anytime soon. Some friends and I have loosely discussed a trip just to see it.

Ya want to sing, do ya??

"The hills are aliiiiiiive, with the sound of muuuuuuusiiiiiiiic"

or how about--

"Eidelweiss, eidelweiss, every morning you greeeeeeeet me,"
(this song gets me every time----beautiful--sniff sniff)

YM--oh, aren't we just the little girlscout this morning?? Ingenious!!!!!

In what area did your aunt and uncle live?? And your cousin??
I was born and raised here and just about lived in all of the burbs and now in the "city"(south--which is actually near downtown but not in it).
I haven't been to Grants Farm in years, even though I only about ten minutes away. And, Six Flags--well, not really my style anymore--not much of a rollercoaster girl anymore.
Hope DS is feeling better this morning. Yep, sounds like too much outdoor fun to me. Have him drink lots of water today. OMG--forgot who I was talking to, you professional. Sorry.

I am off now to jump in the shower. We are taking my niece and nephew to lunch and to a movie. Yes, spending as much time with them as possible. :)

Good day to all!!!!

I'll try to catch up later, because heaven forbid this single girl has a date for a Saturday night. Date, what's that??

Hi Nicole--

we were posting at the same time.

thanks. :grouphug:

p.s. what is Talledega Nights?? I have not heard of this.

/
Talledega Nights had Will Ferrel in it and is about him being a race car driver, who is the no 1 driver until a French driver comes along and steals the title away from him and everything else that he goes through.

I'm horrible at reviews as you can tell so let me see if I can find a review for you.

Hi Dzny fan and YM! :wave2:

Have a great day everyone!

Hi Nicole :wave2:

Ted's Escondido's Cafe is a family owned mexican restaurant that as far as I know started in Oklhaoma, City. They now have one is Tulsa...which makes many fans happy. I'm sure everyone has their favorites but all the food is good...the homemade flour torillas, salsa...etc...feel free to chime in I think there are a couple of fans around. I'm sure you have a good family owned mexican restaurant or two around your neck of the woods. ;)

2xcited: my aunt and uncle lived on ploma drive....it was manchester I guess...my cuz lives off of exit 272(valley park?)...then you turn here and there till you get to brightfield...i guess I shouldn't give her exact address. :rotfl:

well, I'm glad to hear you don't hang out at six flags anymore...it was our disney as my parents NEVER took us to WDW (can you imagine)???? I need some couseling...well nevermind I'm making up for it now! we did have lots of fun when we visted...my cuz is around 35...I'm not sure what high shcool she went too? I think St Louis was the frist place we ever went on water slides...ages ago...remember those slides you could see from I-44 (I think)?

You have a "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" day with you sister and DN and DN..... :goodvibes

Definitely Number 1. And here is a picture....Steak and Eggs

Well, it is nearing lunch time......

DW has suggested Ted's Cafe Escondido for lunch......

2xcited, you had me rolling with the steak and eggs 'options'!! Mine would have been #2..... but without the female puppy reference.

DznyFan....Talladega Nights does look funny. I probably won't see it at the theater though.....probably will have to wait for DVD. Have your DD give us a review.

Just returned from Ted's. Got a full tummy now. And enough leftovers for at least a couple of days.

However.......there's always room for ice cream!! :thumbsup2
