Here's an early housewarming for you.

DolphinGirl--

I am so sorry about your panic attack this morning. Changes in life can be so overwhelming, even when they are good changes. Don't be hard on yourself--remember you have been through alot in the past week with your birthday and wisdom teeth being pulled. I am sure the meds didn't help either. Kind of puts your mind in strange places. Tomorrow is another day. Take some deep cleansing breaths and just keep telling yourself you can do this. Good luck and please use us for strength if you need.

Yikes. Which brings me to... thank you to Donna for the paint! I almost fell out of my chair laughing, you really hit it on the nose with that one!

Now, who's got a sledgehammer for these wooden posts? :rotfl:

Lyzziesmom:: With 3 girls in your family that pink bathroom has possibilities, but the wallpaper has got to goooooo!!!!! I'll bring the sledgehammer...just make sure it's not a loadbearing wall and we'll be good to go!!!

lyzziesmom - Congrats on the house!! :thumbsup2

dolphinrescuegirl - Relax and take deep breaths....the job will work itself out. Good luck!!

Hey Amber, glad you stopped by to chat with us. :goodvibes

Girls, I so have to get a Stephanie Plum book so I can keep up with the conversation. Is it that scary? I'm a big scaredy cat. Can I do Ms. Plum? :confused3

Linda, thanks for giving links to the cruise sites. Now, I have even more to dream about. Cool deal with the car!! :thumbsup2 That's great that it was free.

Ashley, I read the post about the kennels too. :grouphug: I know how you feel. I usually leave my doggie home and have someone stop over and take care of him. When we move, we'll have no one. I was actually thinking of taking him with us and using the WDW kennels but I know what you mean about having to go over and walk them the mandatory twice a day. Of course we would walk him if he were right in the room with us but I can imagine it's much harder when they are in the kennels and your across property in your hotel. Then I also thought about maybe looking for a pet sitter who would come out to our home and take care of him. :confused3 I'm glad you were able to tour the place. Just be thankful that you saw the kennel post because now you can take her advice and get everything in writing. The doggie daycare sounds like such a nice place. I'm sure Ruby will be fine. I wish I lived closer to you. I'd take Ruby and love all over her and spoil her rotten while you were gone. :goodvibes

dolphinrescuegirl , so sorry to hear about the panic attack. They certainly are no fun! I've had them before and I've felt like I was having a heart attack. I'm glad that everything worked out for you. It will get better. Just remember to breathe. I'm serious, sometimes we get so nervous that our breathing gets shallow and we actually have to remind ourselves to breathe. Of course sometimes that's difficult when we're already upset. ----I'll stop rambling now. Good luck to you!

Michele, you lucky girl. Going to WDW! I know what you mean about ready to be packing. That's part of the fun too! I mean it's not fun to pack but it's fun to think about what the packing represents. Glad DH made it safely. How exciting to get to go to another country. Oh, when you're done with painting your house, can you come help me paint mine? :rotfl: The painter was supposed to call me back two weeks ago and I'm still waiting. DH keeps telling me to call him but I get so aggravated when a business says I'll call you back and they don't. Makes me think they don't want my business. kwim?

I'll catch up with you all tomorrow. I'm calling it an early night. We went to the Delaware State Fair yesterday and we didn't get home until after 11pm but boy did we have a great time. It certainly is no Disney World but it was fun even so. My dad came for the weekend and he really enjoyed it(even though he had convinced himself he wouldn't). I spent the day with him and I'm just beat. I think it's because I didn't rest well last night. I just kept waking up. And I had this stupid annoying itch EVERYWHERE! Ever have that? First your foot will itch so you scratch it, then right after that your upper arm will itch, so you scratch it, then your thigh itches and then your nose and then your foot and then your thigh and then your arm and then your back. Well, you get the picture. Don't know what was up with that but it happens every so often.

So, until tomorrow, goodnight. :wave2:

Ahhh, the famous Traveling Itch. We are great friends. That & the Kicking Leg. Every once in a while my leg will just kick on its own. It's like I'm spontaneouly can-can dancing! Anyway, I must go, I think the Traveling Itch has traveled to my house via the DIS. See, DISing is contagious!

Lyzziesmom - Congratulations!! :cool1:  :dance3: :dancer: party: :dancer: Boy, is that bathroom pink, or what?

LindaKMonty - thanks for the links! I'm looking at Cat 6, May 27, 07. No land, as we're DVCers. Three people. I'll probably check into the links tomorrow.

Thank you for your kind words. It really means a lot to me that you all listen to me ramble and send me hugs. I am feeling much calmer tonight and have a good feeling about tomorrow.

Lizziesmom- Congrats on the house!!!  :cheer2:

Hi everyone!!! :teeth:

I think I thought of a possibilty with Ruby. I asked my mom if she could fly up here, get Ruby and fly back home. Then, after we return, she'll fly back up again and give her back. She absolutely LOVES Ruby, so I think this is a good solution. Plus, Ruby is used to flying, since whenever I go home she flies with me.

Ruby has flown about 5 times (2 roundtrip trips to Florida, and the trip up to VA when we got her.) I think that is much less tramatizing than being in a kennel all week. She loves to play with dogs but I don't know how she'd react to it for 7 whole days- and with her being spayed in a couple weeks, I'm not sure she will be 100% healed. It's not totally worked out yet, but this solution makes me feel alittle bit better.

Before we got Ruby, we put our two cats Buddy and Lily in a boarding facility and they gave Buddy a vaccination that is for Dogs and it made him very sick. So even though its not the same place, I'm leery of kennels as it is. I told my mom that I'd pay for her flights of course, and more importantly, I'd get to see her! That is great in itself. Plus she hasn't seen our new apartment. I hope this all works out.

I know I've already said this lyzziesmom, but I am so excited for you!! Congratulations again on the house. :wizard:

April, I'm glad you had a nice time with your Dad. I've had the itching thing many a time! I've never read the Stephanie Plum books, either. I've never even heard of them before this thread!!
