Who here is not in the "clique" like me?

I have lived in Houston my entire life (23 years) and haven't been to the beach in over 13 years!!!! I have been there about a handful of times. It is just so yucky to me. I do like the strand though. I prefer Corpus's beach because I have family over there and it seems a little cleaner.

Amber- I vote for Olive Garden simply because I love italian food!

I just bought my airfare for my bday trip to Las Vegas in November. After that I'm not taking anymore vacations for a year! Well... except maybe WDW if they offer free dining next year.

Tinkerbell_Girl...I'm envious of your birthday trip. I took a girls trip over a year ago and I'm dying to do another one. My DH offered to take me to WDW to run the marathon. I'm not running at all right now so there is no way. I ask him about the half but it's almost full and really I'm not even sure I could do that either. I had ankle surgery over a year ago and never have been able to get back in shape...not that I was any great runner to start with. My Dh is planning on running a marathon in Sept and I think it's just trying to find a way to encourage me. I was thinking about the dining offer after the New Year too...like January and early February. Maybe DH would feel pity on me and go anyway...kids will be in school...for a short trip. We weren't planning another Disney trip unitl fall 07 (oct or nov). Wow, there was a ramble.

2xcited2slp: I am from Centralia, it's about 70 miles east of St Louis. My hubby commutes to the west side about 3 days a week!! He's lovin' all the construction that is going on east...not!!#!*@%$!! So by my standards we are almost neighbors!!!! Howdy!!! I have a question for you also. Where are there Disney Stores left in St. Louis besides Chesterfield. Was at West County about 3 weeks ago and theirs was gone. I was sure there was a store at that mall in the past!!?? Maybe I'm wrong.

Oh my goodness, if I see one more orange barrel, cone, flashing arrow, etc. I am going to explode.......literally. I don't think there is one highway in this area that is not under construction. This is fine if they want to do ONE AT A TIME, but when you take an alternate route to AVOID it, and that said alternate route is all torn up as well.............................let's just say I am not a happy girl. Shake it off, just shake it off.

For the life of me I cannot remember if there is, or ever was, a Disney store at West County. For some reason I only go to Nordstrom there. Don't ask me why. Cuz I don't really know. Every so often I will meet my mom there for lunch because they have the best salmon nicoise salad in their little cafe. Off topic. I know there is definitely a store at Chesterfield and at Crestwood (hwy. 44 and Watson Rd.). There is also one, I believe at the Galleria--they just moved it upstairs. I am not sure about S. County mall?? Let me know if you want me to check anything out for you.

Am I the only crazy one up this late on a Thursday eve?? I actually think it is Friday morn. It's been a long day--doctors from 8am-1:30, grabbed lunch then work from 2-9. I am wiped out but for some reason cannot sleep right now. I do not have to be at work until 2 tomorrow so I can sleep in a bit in the morning.

Hello Illinois girls! I am from Edwardsville, but work in West County. There is a Disney store at Chesterfield Mall. Take HWY 40 to Clarkson Road. Make a left and the Mall is on your right. And yes, the road construction is a major drag in Illinois right now!!! I thought at one time they were talking about putting one at the Fairview Heights Mall, but I'm not sure if that ever materialized.

Good Morning Everyone!!

I'm still trying to decide. It's for my (early) birthday meal, so if I go to Olive Garden my mom will come too. If I go to RFC it will just be DH and myself and possibly my little brother (he usually spends weekedns with us). I thought that if we went to RFC we could also go to the Inner Harbor (Baltimore, MD) but it's going to be HOT this weekend and I'm not sure I want to be waking around in 90+ degree heat.

Oh and there was a teenager, 18-19 years old, with a tank top that said "Future M.I.L.F." OMG!!!! I have a DD that age and there is NO WAY she would even own such a thing!! What are her parents thinking!?!?!

Two years ago we were standing in line for BTMRR and there was girl no older than 13 wearing a tiny skirt and thong. She was sitting on the railing and you could clearly see up her skirt and the thong was hanging out the top of the skirt. He mom and dad were standing right there.

Pooh93--Hello in Edwardsville!! My parents lived there years ago but I had already moved out of the house. At that time I lived in St. Peters (St. Charles suburb) so getting to their house in Edwardsville was quite a journey if you can imagine. They now are in Chesterfield because at that time Edwardsville was not built up and my mom just could not stand being that far away from a mall. Imagine that.


O.K. I feel really naive, but I have no clue what M.I.......could stand for. I am glad to see that I am not the only one, so would someone PM me also and fill me in. Thanks, I think.

2xcited2slp hey there our wedding was April 27,2006 just south of Cocoa Beach. We went to WDW for 10 nights and just drove out to the beach for a few hrs. for our wedding. We were originally going to go on our 5th Disney cruise for our wedding, but schedule conflicts made us change it to WDW trip... we couldn't miss the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill concert! I could have but he said no way I am so happy the way they turned out We're planning another cruise but not sure exactly when yet. Our last cruise was Dec04 ... Disney Cruise is my favorite by far!!!

Good afternoon everyone!!

I'm just sitting around, waiting for the cable.internet guy to show up. They called us yesterday asking if we still wanted them to come. Well, the internet started working again so I guess not for that? But they had combined our appointments (We originally had them coming Friday & Saturday) and so the guy is coming to check on both anyway. On the phone they were like "I don't understand what happened, why the internet starting working all of a sudden." Me neither, but I'm glad!! I hope it stays that way.

Does anybody have any fun weekend plans? I don't have any yet, so I hope it isn't like last weekend when we just sat around the whole time!
