Just dropping in to say hi to everyone! I haven't been on the boards much lately as I started a workout program this week. I get up early and workout before work. I don't have time to logon in the mornings as I simply roll out of bed and to the gym, then I work all day. THe last few evenings I have been simply too wiped out to do much of anything. I never knew typing took soooo much energy! Once I get into it though, I will have more energy.

Anyway, I hope everyone has been doing great!

Well I'm getting ready to go house-hunting with my folks this evening. Thanks to all of you who put in your 2 cents worth on the house issue... I'm still undecided but figured it can't hurt to have a look-see at what's out there. The time issue is stressful - if we find something we can all agree on, I need to be out of my apartmenty by Sept. 15th. We will be at WDW from Sept. 1-10 and DD7's birthday is Sept. 17th. Yikes! My mom has fallen for the UGLIEST house I have EVER seen and she wants me to tour it tonight. The place looks like a U-Store-It warehouse! I'm talking U-G-L-Y ugly!!! Wish me luck!

Ashley - That's cute that your dog walked on the keyboard! I have a cat who loves to type! Sadly, she now lives with relatives but I see her weekly. And I adore the name Ruby, one of my coworkers just had a baby girl this week (well, his wife did, haha!) and they named her Ruby.

2xcited2slp hey there our wedding was April 27,2006 just south of Cocoa Beach. We went to WDW for 10 nights and just drove out to the beach for a few hrs. for our wedding. We were originally going to go on our 5th Disney cruise for our wedding, but schedule conflicts made us change it to WDW trip... we couldn't miss the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill concert! I could have but he said no way I am so happy the way they turned out We're planning another cruise but not sure exactly when yet. Our last cruise was Dec04 ... Disney Cruise is my favorite by far!!!

DS went to dr. this morning we were up 1/2 the night...he was SICK! Dr. said it was a virus and gave us antibiotics... have a great weekend. We're headed to KY for the weekend.

Talking about the way young girls dress DON"T get me started!! I have a 13 year old niece that is pretty level-headed, but it still kind of scares me to think about all of the pressure these young people are under... and WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS!!!

Just stopping in. My DB is a cop and had court this morning so he dropped my DNeices, 2 & 4, off this morning at 8:30. My mom and dad have my other DSIL and her 2 girls staying with them this week so they came over to visit. Then DB and DSIL were here to swim so it has been a full house today. They have all gone now and I am wiped out. I forgot how much work little ones are Esp the 2 year old who is potty training. As soon as we would get her in her suit and water wings she would announce that she had to go potty. But they are so cute I loved it.

Got a nice surprise in the mail today. More documents for our Disney vacation next month. We are DVC members but are doing a regular stay at CSR for the free dining. So it has been a long time since I have booked with Disney Travel. Do they always send multiple copies of your paperwork? Todays included a clear plastic envelope to hold everything plus 5 luggage tags. I love Disney mail and free stuff is even better!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I am having the IL's over for their birthdays on Sunday. That is the main problem with having a pool. We get to host everything all summer since the kids all want to swim. So I am spending tomorrow cleaning the house.

Good evening everyone!

I just got home, we ate dinner at Don Pablo's again (Mexican place). We had a bad experience last week and decided to give it another try. It was pretty good!

The cable guy finally showed up...at 6:45 pm!! Can you believe I was waiting for him all that time? He fixed our cable, apparently alot of people in our building were having that problem (Well actually, everyone who has Comcast) and he said the box where the connections were, that all of the wires were corroded. Its fixed now, thats all I care about! I hope it stays that way

Lyzziesmom: I wish you luck with the house hunting. I hope you get it all figured out!! My mom actually named Ruby. We got her the day after Christmas, when we were visiting relatives in Florida. She had to watch her the first night we had her, since we were staying with my grandparents and they didn't want a dog in the house. She wrote down a list of names and I chose Ruby. I was having a hard time choosing something!! Right after we decided, we were in the car on the way to dinner when that song "Ruby Tuesday" by the Rolling Stones started playing on the radio. I thought it was fate!

I couldn't sleep either and was up around 12am finishing off our bag of cherry twizzlers (the little bit size ones) I might have been reading a Stehanie Plum book! I had to be at work today at 8am...dozed a time or too during one of the many meetings.

Hi Ashley!

We had Mexican for dinner too! We go to this local place that's 5 minutes away almost weekly, sometimes twice a week. We got there tonight and the air conditioning was broken so we thought we'd be better off sitting outside. It was still hot, but a little more bearable than being inside!

That's awful that you had to sit there all day waiting for the cable guy. The last time I had a problem, the guy never showed up. I was not happy!!!

Thats what happened to us last time! It was actually only a couple weeks ago! I was SO MAD and went from manager, to the manager's manager, to their manager and nothing helped!! They never did come, I ended up dishing out $60 for a new router myself. I think I'm on their "annoying customer" list now! I still had to wait over a week for them even to come to my house, but atleast the problem is fixed now. I have been craving Mexican for awhile, and I'm glad we tried this place again. I wasn't satisifed the last time but I think it will be on our regular restaurant list from now on.

I spent all night last night baking - Key Lime Pies, Coconut creme pies, and Blueberry stuffed crepes - for desserts for our BBQ 'crew'. I'm baked out.

DznyFan...oh after you posted that about the dessert...I'm going to have to hunt you down. (just kidding of course...I will be tucked away here in Owasso). Best of luck...sounds like you've worked hard. Let us know how it goes. I heard some BBQ fans talking about it on the radio this am. Takes plently of ice and cold drinks and maybe a huge fan!! Oh, and don't forget the lime green in case you make the news.

Hope everyone had a great Friday and some good plans for the weekend. I just got home from work. I was busy-busy.........makes the day fly, however. I also have to work all day tomorrow but we are closed on Sunday....so day off for me. Yay

hellokitty--cable guy ever get there?? Why is it anyone who ever comes over to do work is always waaay late from their original time, takes waaay longer than they tell you, nothing goes correctly and it costs waaay much more than budgeted for?? Or is that just my life??

Lyzziesmom--how did the house hunting go?? Any luck?? Some houses are so ugly from the outside but on the inside the floorplans are great. But, I know what you mean--when I was house hunting I was so picky because I wanted it to be esthetically pleasing from the outside and if it wasn't I did not even want to look inside. Just remember you can make it your own. Keep your options open and look at as many as you can tolerate. Are you working with an agent or on your own?? Keep us posted and hopefully you and your parents can agree on something. Good luck to ya. It will be a crazy busy couple of weeks in Sept. for you, though. Take a deep breath and take it day by day. All will work out as it should.

It is so funny, I have clients that to look at them you would never guess they are into these novels , but as soon as someone mentions them, they just start to giggle. I need to re-read some to review because it has been a long time since and I must prepare if there is truly the next installment out. I'll have to check into this.
