I think its a Libra thing! (Obsessing and worrying about stuff.)
I really like Coral Springs. I haven't experienced the party atmosphere you are talking about, but maybe I am just biased because I was born and raised there. My rent is really high too, it $1000 for a tiny 1 bedroom! Insane. I'm glad your parents got the hint about the house. Its hard to say those things to parents sometimes!

How lucky you are, being able to take all those WDW trips! I have been there once this year though, I went for a quick trip in February when I was visiting home. (Ok, so I went in November too.) I know what you mean about this thread, it just makes you want to spill your guts, doesn't it?? ;) Ofcourse I didn't put it as eloquently as you did, but I get the same way! Another Libra thing!

Oh my gosh. Did I kill it? I really didn't mean to. I like cliques. I also like the irony of the thread name. :thumbsup2

You just couldn't leave it alone . . . .

Sorry guys, I'll take her off your hands now. :teeth:

I like the clique-less clique as well.

:wave2:

Hey Nicole!!

I'm so glad to hear you are still going on your WDW trip. I would seriously be crushed if I couldn't go on mine. I actually know I'll be crushed when its over!

But its ok, I actually made DH say in his wedding vows that he has to take me to WDW atleast once a year. :sunny:

I'm a little behind so....

Could someone pm me the m.i.l.f. meaning?
I am also a huge stephanie plum fan. I just discovered them at the beginning of this month and am on #5 now.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I just pm'd you with the meaning.

Don't you love the Stephanie Plum books. Somebody has to make these into a movie. I was thinking about the casting the other day and the only one I knew for sure should be in it is Queen Latifah would make a great Lula.

Come on everyone...who do you all think should play the parts?

Hey guys,

I ended up cancelling my plans for the day because I just had too much to do. Laundry, trash taking outing, running errands, etc. But looky what I am doing. Imagine that.

Lyzziesmom-- you sound exactly like me. Obsessing about things. I too go from one thing to the next----worry, obsess, worry until that is done. Then I move to the next event to worry about. Even fun things such as dinner parties---gotta plan, plan and worry and plan some more until it is over. Crazy, isn't it. I try not to be this way but cannot help it. And I am not even a Libra. Taurus. I am thinking about selling my house but cannot even begin to start until after my trip in Oct. because I just cannot fathom the idea of "stressing" about both at the same time. Yeah, I "stress" over a trip to Disney. I cannot imagine the possibility of them all happening plus DD b-day all in a matter of weeks. YIKES. I wish you luck----you're a stronger woman than I.!!!!!!

MImom--great call on Lula. I am having trouble imagining who could be cast in such a movie since this is such an important task. I would hate for anyone to ruin my "vision" of the characters.

Hi NicoleTinkgirl

Hi Dolphinresuegirl---fellow Steph. P. fan.

I just noticed I inserted notta one smilie in my last post. How dare I. So, here ya go. :grouphug: :grouphug: :dance3: :dance3: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Did everybody go bye-bye??? :bored:

Oh, what do I hear?? :laundy: sshhhh--can't you see I'm busy??

Hello Friends!!

This is going to be a two part post because apparently I've been gone so long and I've got so much to say, it won't let me post it in one. Hhhhm, maybe they're trying to tell me something! :lmao:

I'm feeling much less stressed today :) so I'm going to attempt to catch up with you all. I feel so out of the loop. :upsidedow

Before I get started though, I did call the doctor about the pain that I had been having. I spoke with the nurse who was very helpful. She said that all of my healing was done in the first 2-3 weeks. By week 6 I should have been healed (as far as what they had to cut and such). She did say that I could have overtaxed my muscles which had not been in use in some time and that even though the incisions were healed I could have some inflammation that still needs to calm down and that could have been the problem or it could have been a combination of hurting my musles and inflammation. She suggested I use ice (which I have been) and take an anti-inflammatory which I have also. I've felt great all day Friday, Saturday and now today. So, for now I'm going to just play it by ear.

:welcome: Bill!!
:welcome: Disneydiane

Ashley, I hate having to wait for the cable/phone/internet people. They say we need someone to be around from 8am-5pm. Is this a joke? I think to myself. Many a day I have waited and waited and waited only to have them show up at 4:30 if even at all. One time I waited the whole day and the guy didn't show up, didn't call, nothing! At the time the phone company had crossed my line with someone else's so that everytime the phone rang in their house it would ring in mine and I wasn't getting any calls of my own. I came home to a machine full of messages from people I didn't even know and when I did answer the phone and heard other people talking (becuase I hadn't figured out what had happened yet) I was CUSSED out by the other people for being on their line!! They wouldn't even listen as I tried to explain that our lines must have been crossed. Nothing like being cussed out in your own home because of a mistake the phone company made. When I called to complain (this was on a Saturday) they said the guy would be here on Tuesday. :confused3 TUESDAY? So, I'm supposed to be without a phone until Tuesday because your people messed up? And then, they didn't even show up on Tuesday after I stayed here all day. :furious: I finally had to get the utilities commision involved. They were here that very evening I called the utility commision.

mkymouse1928 , that's terrific about the workout program. As soon as I am feeling way better, I'm going to get back into my Walk Away The Pounds DVDs. I like that I can actually keep up, not be confused and feel like I've exercised. Good Luck!!

MI mom of 3, I agree! I LOVE  love  love  getting Disney mail. It's always so festive and magical. I especially love getting Disney mail when it holds the confirmation of my trip! Yesterday I got an Annual Passholder mailing. But, I didn't open it yet. :( I want to open it when I have time to soak in the magic. I could use it about now. ;)

Hi, Cyndi!

:wave2: Hi, all! Hoping everybody has been having a great weekend!

Lyzziesmom - Glad to hear the house hunting is going OK so far!

April - sorry to hear about all the family politics! Bleahhhhh!

Check back soon - gotta take DD to get hair trimmed. :cool1:

YourMajesty, I am going to have to check out these Stephanie Plum books. Just from what everyone is saying on here they sound terrific. I'm always looking for a good book to read. I tend to veer (sp?) more towards "How To" books. I don't know why and I have to remind myself to lighten up sometimes and read just for the fun of it.

lyzziesmom :woohoo: so glad to hear TUHIA has sold :woohoo:

Amber  I am so sorry that happened to you. I hope you took the others' advice and just called and canceled. It's not worth the emotional rollercoaster. I myself had to get off that ride after 30 years just recently.
Again, I am so sorry and I hope everything worked out. :bday: :cake: Hope you have a great day!

My mom just called me and said, "OH, Here we are sitting at the pool at Pop Century!" I am soooo jealous. I don't think my trip is coming fast enough!!! I want to be there RIGHT NOW!!
Me Too!! Oh to be in the WD! pooh:

2xcited2slp - You could work at one of the Disney Spas!!!!! :mickeyjum :tigger: That is such an exciting idea!! Can you tell I'm excited!! I was just thinking today (as I was having to cut the grass) what would be a cool job at Disney? You know, not like a cast member in one of the stores on Main Street but a really different but fun kind of job? I was thinking, a cast member at the Kennels, bartender at one of the resort pools, lawn maintenance (I was cutting the grass after all), wedding consultant, tour guide, administrative assistant in one of the parks (you know in the parks but behind the scenes overlooking the "World" below), administrative assistant in the business center (where you can get computer access). But spa would be fabulous!! As you can tell it took me awhile to get the grass mowed.
And, your boyfriend story sounds similiar to mine. I was with a guy for 6 years off and on. More on than off. But sometimes it felt more off than on. Does that make sense? We too broke up. Just wasn't working out. We tried to get back together and we too found that old familiar routine. It didn't work for me either and it was because he had found a "new girl" too. Oh well. Somethings work out for the best. I'm glad now I'm not with him. I can say that now. But, I couldn't help but saying, "Hey, this is my story, I've been here too!" :goodvibes

Thank you so much! That was so sweet of you.

I'm up, bright eyed- and bushy tailed. Actually, not really. My husband and I always fight on the weekends, because he annoys me. We didn't go to bed until late last night, and I wake up this morning to him getting up at 9 am. I know to most of you, thats not too early but we didn't go to bed until like 2:30 am. Anyway, I say, "What are you doing, go back to bed" "Oh, I'm just going to the bathroom" Well he says this is me EVERY day on the weekends, and for some reason I believe him. Well, this time I waited up for him because I had to go too. Well he never came back and here I am, waiting while my bladder is about to burst. When it has seemed like forever, I go out to see if hes laying unconscious on the bathroom floor and what is he doing but laying on the couch watching TV. I know its not a big deal but it annoys me that he lies to me and says one thing and does another. He knows when I ask, "What are you doing" that means GET BACK INTO BED. He constantly complains that he is too tired during the week and I really believe its because he doesn't get enough rest during the weekend, because he doesn't sleep enough and gets up and reads stupid freaking comic books online.
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Ashley, I am not laughing at you, I am SOOO laughing with you! Oh My Goodness, if this is not me and DH!! And my complaint is exactly the same! What annoys me the MOST about DH are the "little" insignificant lies. Like I'll ask, are you coming home soon (from work. He's self-employed w/ DBiL and DFiL) and he'll say yes and then two hours later he's finally done. It's like a combo of I don't want to hear her ***** at me and he looses track of time. And I know what you mean about the weekend rest thing and the "What are you doing?" I love the weekends because it means laying in bed and snuggling. How can I snuggle if he's not there??? --I got your back, girl!--

OK. Well, I think I'm pretty much caught up. If I missed any of you or missed any important posts, it was not intentional. I'll catch you next time I promise.

OK, 2xcited2slp, and now for the tutorial for the multi quotes the April way ---which simply means there's probably a better way but this is the "April figured this one out herself way."---

So, say I'm catching up on the post and I see several different things along the way that I'd likd to "quote". I generally have two pages of the thread open at the same time. The one page I'm typing in like I am now and the other one is where I am reading from. If I'm pretty much caught up I'm able just to keep this page open and scroll down to the bottom and the last 15 replies are down there. Forgive me if you already know what I'm talking about. I'm just trying to give you the tutorial like as if this was your first time.
OK, so what I do is:

1. I highlight the portion of text that I want to quote and copy it.

2. Then I paste the portion of text into my post box.

3. Then I highlight that portion of text again and click on the little quote icon which is up there where we bold things, and underline, change color, or size. It looks like a square word balloon. this will then put the quote tags around the post that look like [Qu ote] [/Quote]
Just putting the quote tags around the portion of text will look like this.

Another way you could do it also is to highlight and copy the text you want in your post and then click on the little quote icon and an Explorer User Prompt will open up. You paste your copied text into there and then click OK. But sometimes if you are quoting say two paragraphs it will cut the second paragraph out/off. I like to just paste it into the post box and add the quote tags that way.

If I wanted to give credit to the person who originally made the quote I would follow steps 1-3 and then after the first [QUO TE] I would add an equal sign [QUOTE = and then the persons name like 2xcited2slp]
So it will look like this [Quo te=2xcited2slp] text [/quote].

Doing this step looks like this

It's real easy to do. I hope my instructions aren't too confusing. It takes a few extra steps to do it but I'm a hot keys girl and I use the scroll bar on my mouse all the time. So, I'll just scroll up and down find the phrase, highlight, right click it, left click on copy. Scroll back up (if I'm all on one page) right click in the text/post box where I want the quote to go, left click on paste and so on.

Anyway, if you have anymore questions and if I've completely confused you just let me know. :wave2:

Kind of reminds me of a project we had to do in 7th grade (I always think of it when giving a tutorial). The assignment was to write up instructions/tutorial on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich for an alien. The idea being they know nothing about it and we couldn't take for granted that they did. Step 1, get bread. Step 2, open loaf of bread. Step 3, take out two slices.

I've found that in later life people are like, "I get it, I get it" and I feel like I bog 'em down w/ too much detail so if I've done that, now you know why. It was that crazy 7th grade teacher!!

Hope this helps. :goodvibes

April-
Finally, someone who gets me!! I think you know how I feel too because we are both home alone all day. I have a problem (which I've talked about here before) where I can't sleep by myself, and so the weekend is a time where I get to "sleep in" too. My DH always tells those little lies that drives me crazy, and its always because he doesn't want to "upset" (supposedly) me. huh?? And isn't that mean of my mom to go to Disney without me??? She's probably riding Soarin' right this very second or eating at Le Cellier :badpc:

Well I just got back from the pool. It was HOT. And guess what, I am so proud of myself, I walked on the treadmill before we went outside to the pool! Our apartment has a gym so I decided to get back into walking. About a month and a half ago, we started going to the gym everynight to get ready for the Disney trip, and I started dieting (gotta look good for the Disney pictures!) About 3 weeks into it, I got really sick, so that delayed the gym for a week. Then we started going back, and I had a really bad knee injury, I'm not sure what happened to it because I just got up and it popped, but it has been very painful. That was about 3 weeks ago, and today was my first day back! Its not 100% but I can put my weight on it again. Ofcourse, I gained back the weight I lost but today is a new day! So I'm back on track. (Although I had Wendy's for lunch :sad2: ) I didn't go as much as my high point when we were working out everyday, but I felt good that I did something .

I'm feeling very burnt. I wear alot of sunscreen but I was refusing to leave because of certain somebodies who just took our chairs when we were in the pool and I was staying in protest. They actually piled their crap on our crap and I was so mad at the nerve!! They got into the pool so I moved their stuff on the one girls chair that was open. I don't want to get flamed so I don't really want to get into the whole story but I was very annoyed. But I'm going to remember to choose my battles like 2xcited said!! YES I am.

ANYWAY, I am working on my tan too!!! :cheer2:

whew, this was long.

HelloKitty: Ok...I can totally relate!!! It seems like I'm falling apart (ripe ole age of 38). I had an ankle injury Oct 03 and ended up having surgery. However, since that's not enough, I have things popping and hurting all the time. These occur from just standing up (other ankle) or reaching for somthing (wrist) and neck. Right now I'm actually taking a 6 day steroid pack for my neck...it's causing me so much pain in my arm too. The Dr doesn't seem to be concerned (about all the popping) but does think I might have something impinging in my neck. It's crazy and everytime I start to workout I get sidelined. :sad2: Arrgghh...just wanted to vent with you.

YourMajesty:
For me, I was very scared when this happened because it was the first time. I've had bad back problems all my life, and I had to wear a back brace when I was about 13 (embarassing) but with my knee it was totally different! I was in my bedroom talking to my mom on the phone when I got up to let Ruby out of the room, and it just felt like my knee totally MOVED out of joint. I just started SCREAMING and dropped the phone, I'm sure my mom was horrified. I was scared DH wouldn't be able to hear me, because he was blasting the NBA Playoffs  but he did. It was very scary, I probably should have gone to the emergency room but I don't have medical insurance right now. I had to have help to even get up and use the bathroom for several days. I think my knee might have moved out of joint, but I grabbed it when it happened so I think it popped back into place. It feels better, but its not 100% yet. I hope it is my Disney trip!! I hope everything clears up for you, too. Thanks for venting with me :)

It seems cliques like to have names that are acroynms - so CV = clique Virgins as a name possiblity or

ACC = anti-clique Clique
