I might have to cancel my trip to WDW. DBF'S truck needs to have the transmission repaired. I really hope I don't have to cancel it though. But if so there's always next year.

I think I am the only one who hasn't seen POTC2. And shocker, but I probably won't until it comes out on DVD. lol

Oh Tinkerbell_Girl, I hope everything works out for you. I know how disappointing it is when you have to cancel a trip. We are only going on ours because its a late honeymoon that my mom is paying for, my DH needs the transmission fixed in his truck too!!!

But you are right, there is always next year.

We went to see POTC2: DMC Saturday. We loved it. Not quite as good as the first, but it was great nonetheless.

And YourMajesty........another Tulsa area DISer here......I live in BA.

Wow...we are north...Owasso. We were die hard mid-towners but headed out here for the schools. Now the shopping has followed us...thank goodness. I was really tired of walmart(never shopped at walmart in Tulsa). We are even getting a free standing Starbucks.

We are even getting a free standing Starbucks.

We used to have to drive into the 71st St. nightmare zone to get to a Starbucks - at Garnett - but now we've got one in Bass Pro. It's right next to the big aquarium, so you can get your Mocha Latte, but have to breathe fish smell while you're standing in line!!
Speaking of fish - did any of my fellow OKers notice that the rain yesterday afternoon smelled? I said wet dog, my DD said fish. Yuk.

Here in Houston, there seems to be a Starbucks on practically every corner! And I hardly ever drink coffee! I always feel like I never know what I'm ordering when I go in there!

I didn't notice that the rain had a bad smell. But I didn't pay that much attention. My son's friend had a pool birthday party yesterday evening. We had to wait out the rain and lightning before they were allowed to swim.

But we did have some very heavy rain and wind last night just after 11 p.m.
