Whew, just got through catching up with my peeps!
MI mom of 3 that was so scary reading about your son. I am so glad that he is ok. I was on the edge of my seat reading your post and I am just truly glad that he is ok. I myself was hit by a car when I was 7! I was in the ICU and the hospital for weeks and I had to wear a body cast. It was awful!! I hate hearing about children being hit by cars.
Tinkerbell_Girl I hope all works out with the transmission! Man do I hate when Real Life gets in the way of my Disney trips!!!
I always say life is what I endure between my Disney trips. My niece who's up from Georgia was telling her uncle Steve how I want to go to Disney so bad I can't stand it. She doesn't have to tell him, he already knows. Disney is my drug of choice!
DonnaLeah Yea!!! I am celebrating with you!!
18 more days!!
Can I come too?
Bless your heart! That sounds like something I would do? By the way, did you ever get a chance to look up the drive in?
Well, I've been busy the past few days spending time with my nieces and nephews. Yesterday my oldest niece and I went to the beach. Today we ran the country side going to all the places she likes to visit when she makes it up this way. Tomorrow is my errand day so she'll probably just spend the day hanging out. Maybe get a chance to catch up on her rest.
I have to go to my thyroid doctor which is always a chore because they have a horrible time scheduling people. The last two times I was there I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. One man got rather stern with them which is what I would have liked to do but I knew (from past experiences at other doctors) that when you say something about being inconvenienced for having to wait over an hour for your scheduled appointment time, the desk personnel and nurses get snotty with YOU! When he said something (and I heard the whole thing) he was not harsh or mean, just stern in voicing his opinion and sure enough they got very nasty with him! Telling him, "Well, sir, we had emergencies. And if you had an emergency you would want us to make time to see you." Um, that's not the point. You could come out and let people know. Let people know incase they want to reschedule. But, they must always have emergencies because they have never run on time! Unfortunately, this is the only endocrinologist in my area so I'm sort of stuck! Wish me luck!
Well, that's all that is happening here. Talk to you all soon.

How great to have DH home! I like the idea of working for the Mouse! Thank your DH for his service to our country!!lindakmonty said:Dropping in to say "hello"Just so excited!!! Today is DH44's last day of work. He's retiring
He's spent the last 26 yrs in the military. 21 yrs full time. He thinks he'll be so bored... I told him we can always move to WDW and work there a few days a week for fun!!! He says it's too hot
. I'll have to work on him!! I'm so proud of him!! I'll miss the active duty discounts, but well worth the trade knowing he'll be at home SAFE!!!
