Well, it easy now that I have found so many nice people with whom to chat!

Good Morning, everyone! Hope you all have a great Sunday.

:wave2: Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday afternoon. We are headed to a trophy presentation for baseball. :moped: I have DS (9 in 2 weeks) and DS (6). We are petless but I'm under pressure from ds 6 to get a dog (he wants a golden retriever)! :dogdance:

Just poppin in to say Hi!

Ashley, I'm so glad to hear Ruby is feeling better. That's great news.

2xcited2slp, I'm sorry your sis has to move away. :guilty: Maybe you could get lucky and move to S. Florida? I would love, LOVE, LOVE to move to the Ft. Myers area where my aunt, cousins and grandparents live but alas, it's not in the cards. Too expensive and from what I understand people are having a hard time getting homeowners insurance. But, I'd love to live in the Paradise of Palm Trees. Oh the sunny days would make me so happy.

Hi, DonnaLeah, welcome to the group. The more the merrier.

dustysky, a cliqueless logo is a great idea. As you've seen we've all talked about it but I guess no one is really good at that kind of stuff. It's great that you've offered, we've been waiting for you. :thumbsup2

How bout a lime green (the official color of the dis) Mickey head (the object of our affection that originally brought us to the Dis). Then, I'm kind of at a loss. Maybe have some clipart of the It's a Small World dolls (you know symbolozing how we all get along)? Just some ideas rolling around in my head. Have some saying about The Cliquess where we all click.
OK, I'm out of ideas. :rotfl:

This week looks to be a busy week of going to the beach, day trip to Philly and much shopping. As you know, my 23 y/o niece is staying with us this week and she lets me feel young. It's great to have someone who wants to do my hair and fix my makeup for me. It's alot of fun to have someone do it for you and she's really good at it.

We saw Pirates last night at the Drive In and it was great! We took our pickup and piled the bed with sleeping bags, blankets and pillows. We had a cooler full of coke and water and tons of snacks. We all crawled up in the back of the truck and watched the movie from there. It was great and I really want to see it again.

This week DNiece and I are going to go see a matinee of the Lake House with Keanu Reeves. I've been wanting to see it but my DH won't go with me. So glad she's here and wants to see it with me. :woohoo:

DNiece and I are trying to gang up on DH to try and talk him into taking a Disney trip. She's only been once a long time ago and then it was to help a family with babysitting so she says she doesn't really remember it. Hey, I'll take any chance I can get to talk DH into a Disney World trip. :rotfl2:

Hope everyone has a great week. I'll be popping in here and there to say hi.

dustysky, I look forward to seeing some of your ideas for our logo. I know back in the first few pages *Fantasia* had said something about liking the saying

Hide and Clique. Hide cause, I am usually shy, and I tend to "hide" when I feel like I don't belong or feel left out.. but yet.. I would like to "clique" somehow, just don't know with who or where.
So, that may help you with putting together our logo.

OK, got to say bye for now. Talk to you all soon! :wave2:

Just checking in. Can't believe how we are growing! Sounds like eveyone is having a good weekend.

Hey everybody. I hope you're all having a good weekend.
I didn't get a chance to check in yesterday since I had to volunteer at the Indians game. I hate when we loose. The people are so much nicer when we're winning. I had some really mean people at the stand yesterday. There was one couple in particular. The woman came up and demanded that I give her a free cup of water. Now, before you think I'm a horrible person if someone looks like they're about to keel over from the heat or if someone asks very nicely I'll gladly give them water for free. This woman demanded the water and she didn't look like she was dying of thirst. I nicely informed her that we have water for sale and that I couldn't give her a cup of water because we are charged for the cups. She tried to argue with me and then threw a designated driver card at me. I don't know why she didn't give me the card to begin with. We use special cups for the dd and their drinks are free. We are still charged for the cup and they count the cards at the end of the night to make sure that they match up. She then pointed to the name of the church that I volunteered for and asked if I was working for them. I told her I was and she proceeded to go on and on to her husband about how the people at that church must be very unchristian if they're anything like me and how she'll never go near that church. I didn't tell her it didn't matter if she ever went to the church I don't go there. I work at the stand because the church paid for a trip to Washington DC for my students and I'm working there to pay them back.
The funny thing was one of my former students works at the candy stand across from mine and he had come over to say hi on his break and was standing behind her. After she left he commented that he knows now that I was serious when I always told them that they would get much farther by asking nicely. I can't believe he remembered that from 7th grade.
I'm going to see POTC2 tomorrow. I'm planning on going after summer school lets out at noon so hopefully it won't be too crowded.

OK call me a dope but I've lived in Delaware for 24 years - where the heck is a drive in??? :confused3 Only ones I can recall (since closed) were on 202 across the PA border & on Naamans Rd in Claymont....

Hi everyone!

Welcome to the newbies!!

My internet is having problems, and the earliest the company can come is Friday. ugh!!! So I'm sad I wont be able to be on here as much! If I can't, I hope everybody has a great week and I will talk to you all then! Hopefully it will work sometimes like it is now.

I think it would be great to have a graphic for our group!!

Its been a pretty uneventual weekend for me. Ruby is feeling much better and we have just been laying around the house. I wanted to go to the pool today but it was cooler and overcast so that was out.

I hope everybody enjoys the rest of their weekend, and I'll talk to you all soon!!

Hi Christine,
The drive-in is right before you get into the town of Felton. It is between Dover and Felton, just south of Viola on 13 south.

It is called Diamond State Drive-In theater. They have a website that does not work half the time at www.dsdit.com but they do have a movie list that is on Yahoo Groups you can sign up for and they will deliver the upcoming movies to your email address. The movie is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children and it's always a double feature of new released movies.

It really is a fun experience. You should definately look into going sometime.

Hi everyone!!

You live in Las Vegas?? I am so jealous. lol
We used to live in CA and would go there all the time. DH and I would love to live there but aren't sure about living there with 4 kids. Someday if you feel like it and don't mind maybe you could shoot me a PM and tell me all about life in Vegas. :teeth:

Really loved the pics, Momma - looks really pretty where you're at. I live in a part of OK that looks somewhat similar, kind of reminded me of that. Do you have acreage there? Your dairy cows??
Thanks.
We only have about 2 and a half acres. No cows though!! Those belong to someone else and that's fine by me. :rotfl2: Two cats and 4 kids is about all I can handle. :teeth:

Hey guys,

Just popping in to say hi. I haven't had a chance to catch up, spent the day in bed. It started about 3am with, what I thought was a migraine. I had a terrible headache and spent the wee morning hours in the bathroom....sick. I'll spare you of the gory details. :crazy2: I slept alot all day but the headache never went away. I now am running a bit of a temp. Lovely. So, needless to say, I cancelled plans for today and most likely will not go to see my niece and nephews tomorrow because I don't want to take a chance and get them sick. Luckily tomorrow is my scheduled day off so I do not have to worry about that. I do have a doctors appt. in the morning that usually lasts about 4 hrs. so I have to decide what I want to do about that. Yick.

I hope all is well with everyone. I'll try to check in later tomorrow. Have a good night. :wave2:

2xcited2slp, I hope you feel better in the morning. :cloud9:
Good night to everyone and have a pleasant Monday! :sunny:

:rotfl2: I draw the line at one kid.

Good morning, everybody - yeah, DonnaLeah - you were the only one up at that hour.... do you have a long commute? I'm blessed with a short(ish) drive - it's about 20 minutes - so I snooze until the last minute, get up, get ready, and go! Of course, I don't have little ones to get ready anymore, either, so my wake up time has gotten later in the past years.

Hello to any newbies I missed yesterday - Bostonbrat, Dustysky and horsegirl.

2xcited: much pixie dust for your illness, hope you're feeling much better! pixiedust:
I used to get the worst migraines! ugh....

So we caught POTC2 yesterday - am I the only one who wasn't that impressed? It was OK - but I mean, at one point (I HATE to say this...) I almost got bored with it. I really liked the first better. But talk about Freudian - who is in my dreams last night?? Orlando. I think I wanna go back to sleep. :teeth:

I hope Orlando enters my dreams tonight after I see POTC2. ;)

Hi everyone!

I saw POTC2 last night (I loved it!) and might go see it again tonight or tomorrow, because according to the spoiler thread on here, I missed a whole lot!

We went to see POTC2: DMC Saturday. We loved it. Not quite as good as the first, but it was great nonetheless.

And YourMajesty........another Tulsa area DISer here......I live in BA.
