At school I ran into the girl who did the CP last year and we talked for about 30 mins about everything. She worked in the WL gift shop. She gave me tons of advice and tips. I wanna go now!!!!

Hi everyone!!!

I've been (trying to) sleep most of the day because I couldn't sleep last night- but my phone kept ringing off the hook all day. We got our first snow early this morning and its still coming down!! I'm not too happy about that

Lyzziesmom, thanks to you the song "My Sharona" has been in my head for hours.

Linda- congrats on booking airfare. Now hopefully you won't have any problems flying out because of the snow!! I remember when we moved up here from Florida we had a layover in Ohio, but it got canceled b/c of snow storms and we we stopped in Atlanta instead. It's 14 days from today that I leave! Warm weather here I come!

Nicole, I'm excited for you because of the CP!! Do you know the exact location of where you are working yet??

My coworker got to go to Miami, but that is ok, I get to go soon!! he comes home Fri. he said the plane got deiced twice before leaving..... I'll just get their early and worst case....we can still drive 14 days I'd love to be going on a cruise too

Well I'm not supposed to do that either, oops! It stinks too, because I can't sleep at night and I can drop off in a second all day long.

Arrrrgh, pre-lit trees stink!! It's officially the last year for my tree. Branches are broken and just hanging down because the pre-strung lights are tied around them. 2/3 of the lights don't work, and of course they are wrapped so tightly around the tree that I can't do the old "go down the line" to test the bulbs. Heck, I can't even find most of the bulbs.

I just got finished wrapping another 200 lights around the tree and that's all we're getting done tonight. My back is screaming!

Emma is very weepy tonight, and Lyzzie is pretty crabby too. This is one day that I'll be so happy when they're asleep!

miss you all!!!!

My grandma is very ill and we were told today that there is nothing they can do. My dad is still at the hospital, so I am just waiting for "the" call, but of course, have no idea how long. My aunt who lives in Florida flew in tonight but my sister is torn on what she should do-----come now or wait until funeral arrangements. I pretty much said my goodbyes today, unless there is a miracle. She has been through so much the last couple of years.

I'll try to check in here and there.

Lin...hope all goes well with your play. DS has a 4th grade Christmas play tomorrow. He has to look like a kid from the 50's so he got a flat-top for his haircut, a white t-shirt, and some 'converse' type shoes. I'll try to post a picture tomorrow night. Maybe you will have some good pics too!

Bummer w/the tree!! I think I would have gave up and came back to it another night sometimes it's not worth the aggrevation

I know, I'm behind too if I missed something, let me know....pleeeeease!!! I kept getting the "page blah blah not avail."

I dont know what to do about the tree yet I have several of the hard shell luggage pieces, so it wouldn't get damaged, but I'm thinking I'll put it in a trash bag in my big hard case w/Kennys clothes or blankets and stuff or something like that. It should be alright like that. Or, I saw some cute disney ones at Target that would pack easily since they're still in the box and of coarse, there's a Target close to the Disney gates, so I can always buy one down there having a car will come in handy

You'll have to tell Nathan good luck at his play the 20th!

pozey, love the pictures!

Lyzziesmom, I didn't even bother with my big tree this year. I put up a small prelit tabletop tree. I can still see my Disney ornaments, but it took all of five minutes to set up.

Linda, I am so jealous. You are so lucky (that goes for YM and Lin).


It snowed here yesterday (just a couple inches). Why can't people drive when it snows? There were accidents everywhere. It took my mom and stepdad over an hour to get home (and usually the drive is 15 minutes). Today, it's icy and I think they are calling for a little more snow tomorrow.

My stepmother emailed me yesterday and says she will be ordering our furniture this weekend. I have no idea what I am going to end up with. She said the crib I picked was sold out, but when I looked it wasn't. They do have the set in other colors and I'm not tied to a specific one. Then, she said she wanted to ship them to the store, but the crib can only be shipped to my house (she says different). So, I am waiting to see what I get. I am very thankful they are buying it, but it's stressing me out.
