Going to go by Walgreens and pick up some good sour stuff and a halloween bag - since child is not going out, I'm making her a treat bag for when she gets to feeling better. Looks like their just hanging out at the house tonight.

Yeah, and it was even more torture since it was engineering work for....Key West, FL they love torturing me like that!

Lyzziesmom- good luck with the car shopping!! My grandparents have a PT Cruiser. I think I remember you saying you've rented one before so you know how they drive. Jeremiah doesn't like them because of the turning radius. I actually think that car is the sole reason I failed my driving test with the 3 point turns but I don't see many people making those on the roads!!! I'm sure everything will work out!!


You guys are making me sad, talking about the Pumpkin carving! We didn't do that this year but we did decorate our front door. Jeremiah has already eaten most of the Halloween candy though We haven't gotten any trick or treaters in the 2 years we've lived here, so I don't know if we will tonight.

There's a job fair at school today and I got to talking with the representative from the Disney College Program, and I've decided to apply! I've gone back and forth for a while about it. I don't want to leave Houston, but I know if I never even try I'll always wonder. I need to see if I could even afford to do it with all my bills! I'm thinking I will apply for the the spring semester. I'd like to apply for the fall semester (MNSSHP & MVMCP!!!! ) but I want to be able to go on the Cliqueless trip! So......I guess if I get accepted that means no Vegas for me either. I NEED to do this and not chicken out like I always do!!!!

Nicole, GO FOR IT!!!! That is so exciting. I've always wanted to do the College program....I think you would do a great job!! And of course I would have to come see you and supervise your work And use your CM discount

I am sitting at Mike's office and he is freaking out. One of their vans just died (probably the transmission) and they are trying to figure out what to do. They have no back up van so who knows what they will doing to deliver tomorrow. He is waiting on a call back to see if they can rent a van. Mike wants to rent it himself, but we don't have a credit card.

I have I told you his company sucks??

He is not a happy camper right now (and more than likely won't be for the rest of the night). Anyone want to take me in?

I can be there in about an hour.

The plan for tomorrow is for him to use my car, another salesperson to use Mike's car, and they will use a minivan to deliver. After that, I have no idea what they will do.

See, Mike goes through this crap and I'm suppose to feel sorry for teachers (sorry, I have been posting on the teacher strike thread).

Oh well, at least Kid Nation is on tonight; that's always good for a few laughs.

Well, Mike is in a good mood. Usually, he's a pain when works been bad, but he's been ok tonight.

He still doesn't know what they will be doing for an extra vehicle (he still hasn't heard back from the owner) but at least they have tomorrow figured out.

So, I gave a test in my theatre 1 class today, a test I told them about two weeks ago, gave them lectures on, gave them a review...5 STUDENTS PASSED THE FREAKING TEST! Drives me crazy! They really don't get that this class does require them to work...

Trick or Treat is over!!! I gave the last kid that came 3 big handfuls of candy, you'd have thought she died and went to heaven! I'll have to try to find batteries for my camera so I can post some pictures of the girls, and DH. Yep DH dressed up....Head to toe camouflage, he was a deer hunter. Britt said "thank god I don't have to go with him anymore " teenage eye rolls and all!

We had a good amount of kids. I'd say a steady flow from 3-7. I wasn't home when it started at 2, but one of the neighbors said she had high school kids coming by. I still don't get the need for 5 hours worth of trick or treating.

How was everyone else's halloween?
