Hey, kids - good weekend?

Lyzziesmom - sounds like you had quite a winner at TDS yesterday! Clueless, huh? Glad you liked Ratatouille - I can't wait to see it. Hey, you didn't do anything all the rest of us moms haven't done - sometimes it seems like kids just don't appreciate anything - and that's SO frustrating!

Lin - it's good to see you back here - going to send you a PM so I can see your pics. It's nice to hear good things about the Royal Caribbean cruise - I want to take one someday.

It's been a pretty good weekend - yesterday Erin and I went to our friends' daughter's birthday party - she's 2. It was nice! One of my best friends just got back on Friday from Advanced Space Camp in Huntsville, and she was there, so we did a little catching up.
She had to do a day in a scuba tank (pool) for Advanced Space Camp, and she LOVED it - she's going to get her certification. We're already planning on doing the Epcot dive together.
Last night Erin worked, and I just hung out - and swam for about an hour last night - laps.

Wound up not going anywhere this weekend, as Erin went back to work today at noon - we were going to go down to the lake yesterday night after she got off, DH was already there - but it didn't make any sense to because of having to go back to work.

Today's just been laundry, another 60 laps (about 650 yards) in the pool, and dinner at Los Cabos. (after that meal, I need to do another 60 laps...)

Pozey - you went to TDS today? Erin said she learned to do returns today - did she help you? (her name tag still hasn't come in - she was 'Amanda' today.) She LOVES her job. She's restless - her DBF is in Mexico for almost 2 weeks on a mission trip, so she's glad to be putting in lots of hours.

OH! did I tell you guys?? Remember me telling you about that travel client - a party of 10 - that went to WDW? (the ones that waited till the last minute to get their ADRs). They sent me flowers this week! The most beautiful, huge arrangement arrived at my house Wednesday - it's gorgeous! They really enjoyed their trip.

Back to work tomorrow - but a short week!

Oh, it was so great! I tell you, I looooove DCL, but for the price difference I would go Royal Caribbean any day of the week. They were amazing. The ship was beautiful, food was great, entertainment was pretty great. It was so much fun.

I think we'll have to try one in the next year or two!

Is everyone sleeping in today like I did? I had a rough night sleepwise, and my little angels let me sleep in this morning until 10:00 am, I couldn't believe it!!

10am...LUCKY!!! I was at the rental at 8:30am working and that is after being there 14 hrs yesterday working all day and all night but it's DONE

I just got back from the mall (my second home) and bought some cute tops. As if I need to spend money. But they were all on sale so that makes it okay!

definitely makes it ok!! our nearest TDS is over 50 miles away

We just got back from watching Ratatouille (aka That Ratty Movie). It was really cute! There were several laugh-out-loud moments.

I'm glad I get to go to work tomorrow.

Kennys dad took him today and he said it was funny too! I'm so glad I get to go back to work tomorrow too! I need the rest

I called Mom Friday night and she just was NOT getting things moved out very fast so I said enough is enough... we went and bought a new hot water tank for over there at 8am Sat...Mike and I changed that out and the I started boxing the rest of her stuff up and putting it in the garage b/c people were coming to look at the place all day. Well, thankfully the very first person that came wanted to rent it NOW asap. He was w/his dad and they loved the place. He is 21 and this is his 1st apartment. He has his own landscaping business and his dad works at GM and builds homes on the side busy people!! So, I think he'll be a great renter! Very clean and neat... I know he'll make sure the grass is mowed and things are kept nice! I was so excited, I went and pulled the "for sale" sign up! Then a couple pulled in and wanted to look at it to buy...we'll see, but I'm not near as eager to sell now. If they don't call...I'm just going to keep it. I stayed til 10:30 last night painting and washing everything down. My mom finally came over and was totally ticked that I boxed her things up for her oh well...she'll get over it. No way could I show the place w/all that crap everywhere! A realtor showed up wanting to see if her client could rent the place..sorry, already gone We went over this morning and finished up about 1pm...I could barely sleep last night. My knees were SO swollen and hurt so bad I wanted to cry! I took some pain meds and finally fell asleep about 2am in the Lazyboy I'm so glad I don't have to do that very often!! I need to go back to work so I can rest!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! It just FLEW by!!

Linda: Wow sounds like you had a busy weekend. I totally understand about the sleeping in the lazyboy. I lived in my recliner when I was pregnant - the poor thing tilts to the side because I'd roll onto my side in my sleep! That's where my back problems started though... ugh. My brother has the recliner now. I need to go to work to relax tomorrow too! Might not be too relaxing though, I think my boss is coming and it's review time. Yikes!

I've got the kids in bed and I feel much better now. I was SO stressed out! I just can't stand when they both get to whining and crying at the same time, it makes me lose my cool then I feel bad about it later. Those are the times when I really wish I had someone else around to help out with them... although in reality if I remember right, those are the times "someone else" suddenly finds something very important to do outside or in the bathroom!

I rented "Stranger than Fiction" and am going to attempt to watch it tonight - I guess it's Will Ferrell week for me. I hope it's funny, I could use some laughs! I was in the mood for a romantic comedy but got tired of looking with Emma whining & yelling, so I just grabbed the first thing that looked good and ran out of there.

I can't believe how fast this weekend has gone by. We barely did anything it seems like!!! Atleast its a short week.

Lyzziesmom, don't feel bad about yelling. Everyone has their moments!! Stranger than Fiction is a very good movie. Not a typical 'Will Ferrell' movie but it was so good we bought it. It shows how good of an actor he really is!

Pozey, twin shoes- how cute!!!

Lin, I was looking at the pics on your Myspace account...loved them!! you looked gorgeous and it looks like you had a great time..I really want to go on a cruise! I'm alittle afraid I'd get seasick though, I get motion sickness really easily! I can't even sit in the backseat of a car without feeling sick

We just ordered Chili's to go for dinner. We shouldn't be eating this late but we took a nap and didn't get up until 8:30 We better enjoy it now, because I think after we have kids the napping days are over!

I am exhausted! I helped Steven's family move and am so tired and sore! I've never worked so hard in my life!

Ashley- He just got me some flowers. We didn't have time yesterday, since he was moving all day so we'll probably do something next weekend. Hopefully he'll take me to see the ratty movie!

Lyzziesmom- Don't feel bad, we all have our moments. I felt bad because I kept yelled at my nephew, whenever I'd being a box out to my car, he'd have to come with me and just wanted to play. I'd yell at him, he would yell at me. Stranger than Fiction is very good. Like Ashley said, not your typical Will Ferrell movie, but still very good.

Linda- You were very busy! That's great you found someone who wants the duplex!

Yes!! That was her!! She helped me out. I bought a shirt for Courtney last week and I got the wrong size. So, we took it back and exchanged it and picked up another shirt for Colton.

When I went up to the counter, I thought to myself that she looked like Erin, but her name tag said Amanda.

She was a sweetheart!! Very friendly, very courteous, and just as pretty in person as in pictures. You have every right to be extremely proud!! (thumb)

She was the perfect Disney Store employee - quite the contrast to the employee lyzziesmom encountered!!

We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise a few years back. We really enjoyed it.

YM: Thanks for the breakfast! There's nothing quite like cake for breakfast - with the possible exeptions of cheesecake or key lime pie. Good thing I went shopping yesterday so I had a nice tall glass of cold milk to wash it down.

lyzziesmom.......At the Kaibab Lodge where we stayed a couple nights on our Grand Canyon trip, the restaurant served a Key Lime Pie Cheesecake. It was fantastic!! I have e-mailed the lodge to try to get the recipe, but they have not yet responded.

I agree. I own the National Treasure DVD, and I watch it just about every time it is on TV as well.

I know what you mean. I am SO tired this morning. And I think I fell asleep fairly early last night.

And Courtney -- well, after we got home from haircuts and the Disney Store yesterday, she went and laid down on the couch about 6:30 and fell asleep. She was still sleeping at 9:00 pm, so I took her up to her room. She didn't wake up until we woke her up at 6:15 this moring!! Maybe she was still catching up on lost sleep during vacation?!?
