My whole living room is wood paneling! Yikes!! I'm still trying to figure out what to do with it. I could just paint it, but I'm not sure how it'll look. I've seen textured paint that they make specifically for covering the cracks in the paneling, but it looks like a lot of work and I'd be afraid of it chipping off. But even with five windows along two walls, it is still just so dark in there, I hate it. Of course it doesn't help that my decorating uses sort of dark colors, greens and burgundys and golds. I want to paint the walls like a goldenrod color (my accent color in the room) but I just don't know how to make it not look like painted paneling! Oh well, at least it's not grasscloth.

My mom covered paneling with texture compund (similar to popcorn ceilings). It wasn't to hard to do, so I doubt if textured paint would be that difficult.

Well, Nick and I are off to Cedar Point in a little while. I can't wait, well except for the bus ride with 75 14 year olds:eek:

Nick's graduation was yesterday...he looked so handsome! I was pleasantly surprised with the number of awards he recieved:dance3:

Have a great one!!

Hey Michele...I haven't chatted with you in a while! Good luck with the Cedar Point trip...I should throw in a couple of these.:scared: :scared: and these:headache: :headache:

Yeah Nick for the graduation and awards! :woohoo:  :woohoo:

YourMajesty:: That is some fish that your youngest caught!! Are you in charge of the cleaning??pirate:

Silly Donna...I was napping when that fish was caught and THROWN back into the pond to be caught on a later date.:lmao:

Thanks for breakfast...glad you are having a beautiful day today.:)

Well, I didn't think I would be behind three pages this early in the day.:rolleyes1 Let's see what I remember.

Pozey...the money for the thrid DVD player will be money well spent. Make sure ALL the headphones are in working order and you and the DW will be happy campers!:thumbsup2

Linda...I think the best state was Kentucky?:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Ok...with all the rain our house has become spider central.:scared: :scared: I'm having the inside and outside sprayed today. We have two dangerous spiders in our area and I've seen both INSIDE my house.:scared: :scared:

YM: Yikes on the spiders! I had a little tiny one in my bathroom sink the other day. I spit toothpaste on him and washed him down the drain. A little while later I was back in there brushing my hair, and lo and behold there's Mr. Spider waving at me from next to the faucet!! He took another ride on the SinkDrain Express and I'm pretty sure he stayed down that time, because I ran scalding hot water for about 5 minutes.

:woohoo: bye bye spidey!! that is the way to do it! I did that in KY when we went down. I got in the shower and there was a big spider staring right at me on the shower curtain:scared1: scared me big time!!!! He was promptly removed from existance:rolleyes1

Good news! When I was at the Dr, he doubled my dosage of my pain prescription so I'll take it twice a day (that's not the good part) and then he asked about how much it costs. I mentioned that it's on the top tier of my insurance plan, and he left the room for a minute and came back with a "loyalty card" from the drug manufacturer. The card is reusable until May 2008 and it's good for $50.00 off each prescription!! That'll make it almost FREE! Of course I'm not crazy about having to take more meds, but if it helps the pain I'm willing to give it a try. I've been feeling pretty bad with all this rainy weather we've been having.

Lesa: Sorry to hear that your floor won't be done before you leave. But at least it will get done, and you know you like it! :)

lyzziesmom...great news about your dr. finally trying to listen though!!!! that card sounds great:cool1: that was nice!

Hi everyone!!!!

Well you wouldn't believe what happened last night ;) For the past several weeks I've been "nagging" Jeremiah about securing our internet access, because our wireless internet is unsecured and I'm paranoid that someone could look hack into my connection or see the information I look at online. I saw a whole thread about it on the Dis and when I mention something I read on here that freaks me out (like the lice thread!!! :scared: and the TB thread....) he just

Well last night I go to check my email and my Netgear (which normally says unsecure) now says secure and I needed a network key to access it. Somebody (I am almost positive who it is, one of my neighbors across the hall) was steaing my internet access and blocked me from using it myself.:headache: We've had this setup for about a year and a half, and just when (actually, the day that!!) our neighbor gets a computer and internet access this happens :rolleyes1

Anyway, we had to find out how to secure the connection which Jeremiah insisted was "impossible" and its ok now. I'm just sick of people actually:sad2: Actually, I don't even care they would use it- if I don't know, it won't hurt me, type of thing, but to secure it so I can't USE IT MYSELF? Did they really think I wasn't going to notice, or just let them continue!

Ashley: That stinks about your neighbors. What idiots!! My XBF set mine up so no other computer but mine can access it, but it says "unsecured." I don't quite understand, but he used to work for the cable company that I have my connection through in their tech support department and told me that their idea of "secure" really isn't. The only problem with the way it's set up now, is if I ever get a new computer or a 2nd computer, I won't know how to get it to access the internet! Something about having to go to a certain webpage and enter the computer's IP address onto the "allowed" list of machines that can use the connection, but I don't remember where to find that number or where to enter it in. Oh well, if I really need it I'm sure he can fix it for me, or the cable company can reset it. I'm glad you got yours fixed! Are you going to mention it to the neighbors?

I just wasted a good hour or so reading a very entertaining thread about funeral processions. There is a certain poster who is very young and immature, and the more this poster tries to sound knowledgeable, the more this poster sounds like a moron. I sure hope I wasn't like that when I was a teenager!!

omg Ashley!!

I just love looking at them. I can't wait to go to another zoo!!

Lyzziesmom, that's what Jeremiah did. He secured it and made it so our two computers are the only ones that can connect. If you have any problems in the future, let me know, I think it was relatively easy and we can figure it out!

I know the exact poster you are talking about- and I have said poster on ignore. ;) After months and months of these people annoying me, I said enough is enough!! She seems so snooty to me. But I kind of think she is a troll :rolleyes1

I don't ever talk to my neighbor. I think I've spoken to him once in almost 2 years of living here. He is a young guy that has some type of job that makes him out for all hours of the night :rolleyes1 and he sleeps during the day. (It's funny, he has this magnet on his door that says "day sleeper" that he stole from the Comfort Inn or something :lmao: I don't really care anymore as long as I don't find out he somehow got personal information of mine (I was paranoid because I went to my bank account and credit card accounts yesterday.) If anything of mine gets stolen, I will know who to go to first!!

Ashley- Good thing you got it fixed! I'd be so angry.

I think I know who your talking about without even reading the thread! :teeth: I need to go find it now!

I know the poster you are talking about. She and I have had a couple run ins. I hope she realizes that people are annoyed with her and she should stop. I can't imagine her having many friends if she acts the same IRL.

The thread was actually titled something about walking on or between graves, but it mutated very quickly. It's just so funny to see this person digging themself deeper and deeper into a hole (so to speak!) and not just admitting to being a liar or even just plain wrong.
