I was reading the first job thread, I couldn't believe it when that girl said that she told her friend that the friends bf had cheated on her with her and then goes on to say that friendship is about loyalty, honesty, and trust! Um hello, friends don't go around sleeping with their friends boyfriends!

OK Lyzziesmom, I read that job thread and it has to be one of the funniest things I've read in a while. I especially liked the part where you educated her on the difference of the words "weary" and "wary"

Got back around 11:30 last night. It was a great day, the weather couldn't have been better. It was funny...we decided to tweak the splitting up of the boys and girls...instead of front of the bus and back of the bus...we had a boy bus and a girl bus!!! We even stopped at different McD's on the way home!! Some were NOT happy

I didn't ride Maverick...those that did said it was great but it kept breaking down or the line was 2 hours long No thank you.

Gotta go for my last day of school I'll catch up later

Dznyfan, great pictures and report. I can't wait to hear and see more.

Michele, a 2 hour wait oh my. That's one of the reasons Mike and I do go to "regular" theme parks, no fastpasses. I'm glad the weather was good.


Last night it stormed here and my kitchen flooded, again. We were out shopping and when we came home there was a lake. I thought it was fixed, but I guess not. It's suppose to storm again today. I hope we can get it fixed this weekend.

Okay......I found this interesting......

Our trip to the Grand Canyon is fast approaching.....We leave Saturday morning, and anticipate arriving late Saturday night. For the first 3 nights of our vacation we are staying in Flagstaff, AZ, then moving to a cabin on the North Rim of the Canyon, and the final 3 nights at a different hotel on the South Rim.

So, I decided to check out the weather forecast....

For our first 3 nights in Flagstaff, the weather looks like this:
Highs in the uppper 70's to low 80's!! Lows in the upper 30's to low 40's!!

Then, I checked North Rim, AZ for our 2 days there....
High of 98 & 99 with lows in the upper 50's!! Now, I hope that is the "dry heat" I always hear about.

Michele: I bet the kids were none too happy about segregated buses! Good for you! Glad you had a nice time. I can't imagine waiting in line 2 hours for a rollercoaster! I love coasters, but that's ridiculous. I do remember waiting 3 hours for King Kong at USO when it first opened... what was I thinking?? Enjoy your last day of school! No more pencils, no more books... well I'm sure you know the rest.

Donna: I love coffee cake, how did you know?!? I hope you don't mind though if I pick out the nuts.

Amber: I hope you get the flood taken care of. I know how that goes, it's no fun.

pozey: Isn't that thread just something else? I almost felt sorry for the girl, then I remembered she brought it all on herself and probably LOVES it. I was telling my parents about her this morning and they were just about falling out of their chairs laughing. My mom's words: "What an idiot!" This from the woman who taught me that when you call someone or something stupid, it makes you seem like the stupid one. Have fun at your team-building tomorrow. I've never played Laser Tag - not sure if I'd love it or hate it. I wish my company would do things like that, we are very boring around here. Yesterday someone came in who used to work here until a couple months ago and is now a client. He worked here for 15 years, and is now working with a lady here who has also been here 15 years. They had never met until yesterday. There are only 120 people at this location, it's sad how nobody knows each other. Now I'm not saying we should be one big happy family or anything but a little bit of comaraderie and team-building is good for morale.

I finally bought my P&PP tickets yesterday for September. I'll be taking Lyzzie to the very last party and she'll be dressing up in her pirate costume from Halloween. I can't wait! I was hoping there would be a passholder discount, but it was only for select dates and ours wasn't one of them, and now I don't see it anymore at all. But I figured better to pay full price than to miss out, because who knows when/if they will do it again! And who knows when we'll make it back to WDW after this trip - with the change in resort pricing, probable ticket increase and change in DDP, it may not be the most "bang for the buck" after this year. I hope that's not the case!

pozey: Yikes that is some weather! I remember the "dry heat" -- it's awful. You step outside and instantly break into chills because all the sweat immediately evaporates, so you feel hot and cold all at once. And one of the things I hated (remember I was 12) was, there's no way to put this delicately, you get dry crusty boogers. It sounds like a silly thing to be bothered by, but they can hurt!! Hopefully it won't be too bad for you guys, I'm sure you'll have fun anyway. That's the desert for you -- unbearably hot in the day, and chilly at night. Good thing you're driving so you can pack whatever you need! The cabin sounds really neat.

I think after next years trip I might be taking a little break from WDW. With everything that is going up, I'll probably wait a year or two before going back. But this might give me some time to travel to other places that I've been wanting to go to and put off to go to WDW.
