walt_disney_florida_map.jpg

Just in case you forget where that Happy Place is located, Uncle Walt will guide you.:goodvibes
If it's the hat that counts, maybe I should try and find one with mouse ears on it.... and yes, I'll ride the monorail for you!
Thanks, Uncle Walt! :teeth:

DznyFan----if I don't get to "talk" to you before tomorrow-----HAVE A GREAT VACATION!!!!! Uhhh, I'm so envious. Relax, enjoy and think of us often.:lmao:
Mornin', sweetie! Thanks, and I will think of you guys a LOT! Don't know if I'll get on to chat from time to time or not (kinda doubt it...)

I LOVE Napoli's!! What did you order? I will usually switch between the Napoli's Special and The Works Spaghetti. I love the sausage.

We've had dessert there once. I can't remember if it was a chocolate cake or a cheesecake, but it was GREAT!!
DH had the special - I tried it, and it was great! I had Tortellini Siciliano. We had calamari and shared a tiramisu. That bread was fantastic! And we ordered a bowl of that mixed marinara and alfredo sauce for dipping.... heaven. I have my leftovers for lunch today! DH and I still talking about how good it was this morning! The prices there are pretty good too - we had all that food - 2 entrees, appetizer, dipping sauce and dessert and got out of there for under $40 including the tip.

Well it's crunch time! I've got to return some books to the library, go to the Wal Mart for the last minute stuff, call and remind my petsitter, finish laundry, PACK, print my boarding passes in 40 minutes, return movies to Blockbuster, go to Walgreens and TRY ( :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: ) to sleep tonight. I would work, but it seems my web-based management software is not working this morning. Gee, that's too bad that I have to visit w/ you guys while I wait for it to get fixed.....

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Dznyfan- Tomorrow!!!!!! I'm so excited for you!:cool1:  :woohoo: I hope you can find a cute hat to wear!;) I look horrible in hats. Last night I tried on a baseball cap from WDW I got in '97 and it still is too big!:rotfl:

Thursday I go to lunch and wouldn't you know, as soon as I get back they say...we need you to go to Cleveland...AGAIN:eek: so I had to head up there asap to get back so we could head to KY. Thankfully one of our guys was nice enough to meet me in Ashland, 20 minutes from my house ;):woohoo: we had fun but ran into some major termite problems:scared1: ended up totally replacing the floor in the living room down there:scared: we got back Sun. evening and I was just wiped out! I was out of it most of Monday:sad2: then I get back to work Tues. and we had an IT guy from corporate here changing all our computers over to our parent company:guilty: so no internet for 2 DAYS:sad1: Kenny has a t-ball game tonight...so we'll be home late, Saturday is the street sale for our alotment and Sunday hopefully...I'll be picking up my new dslr!!!!! :woohoo: I'm really excited about that!!! Kenny came home w/a paper from school about golf lessons. I told him what it said and asked him if he wanted to learn to play golf. he says "mom, I want to learn EVERY sport":lmao: I don't know how possible that is ;) but we'll see. He asks how much it is and says "I can afford that":rotfl2: omg...what am I gonna do w/him! He's so rotten! I've missed SO much:guilty: I'll try to catch up all I can!

Isn't it funny how no matter how well you plan, you always end up running all over the place doing last minute things.

Donna: That DL Paris waffle looks so good -- they sure do know how to make 'em over there, don't they? It certainly puts to shame the one little half-melted pat of butter we get here.

Emma will be so excited to see her first virtual birthday cake!! It looks like the parade we planned to see on Saturday may get rained out, so I asked her where she'd like to go for her bday. She said, "To my birthday." I don't think she quite gets it yet. I told her that her bday will come with her wherever we go, and I asked her again where she'd like to go. Her new answer: "To my cake!" Hey, at least she's easy to please.

DznyFan: My goodness your trip is getting close -- how exciting!! Now go pack, missy! Don't forget to leave room in your suitcase to pick me up while you're in KC. (You were the one who said you have a layover here, right? Or am I totally confused?)

This morning I took a peek at Lyzzie's report card, and the results of her MAP testing. The girl is a genius! 2nd grade and she's reading on a 10th grade level, and doing math on a 4th grade level. I am SO proud of her. I'll have to think of something special to do with/for her to celebrate. Hmmmm, maybe I can convince Mom to watch Emma so I can take Lyzzie to see POTC3. Yeah, that sounds good! :thumbsup2 (thumb)

This morning on the radio they were talking with a local woman who wants to go to jail in Paris Hilton's place. Her reason? "I'm not really a fan, but she always seems so ditzy and helpless and I can't picture her in jail. I've never been but I like to help people so I want to do this for her." Yeah right, don'tcha mean you want the publicity? I swear, what some people will do for their 15 minutes just baffles me. :sad2:

My boss is flying in for the day, so I'd better get busy cleaning up my desk! Hope everyone has a great day, and tomorrow is Friday already!! :cheer2: <-- that reminds me... being the first day of summer vacation, I told Lyzzie she can wear whatever she wants since there's no school. So she came out in her old cheerleading uniform! We get to my mom's house, and the neighbor girl (Lyzzie's friend) that my mom watches sometimes is there in her swimsuit. It just struck me as funny -- the first day off from school and they both go crazy with wearing non-school clothes.

Hey guys:grouphug: boy have I missed you guys!!!!
Hey Linda!! We've missed you too.

ohhhh did you guys see where Skybus added Daytona Beach to their list to destinations:yay: I can fly from Columbus to Daytona for $10 ea way!!!! 3 tickets round trip w/tax and fees.... $108!!!
All I can say is WOW!! $20 round trip to Daytona??? :scared1: :yay: :beach: If I could get that kind of deal from Tulsa.......we would be semi-residents.

It never fails. :goodvibes

I'll meet you at the airport at 10:00. :teeth:

Welcome, back, Linda! we missed you!

I'll meet you at the airport at 10:00. :teeth:

I'll be there! :thumbsup2

Linda: Welcome back, so nice to see you again!! You'll have to tell Kenny that he won't be able to afford sports if he keeps spending his money on Bic pens. :rolleyes1

I'm going to have to check into this Skybus thing, it sounds too good to be true! I'm sure we won't have it here though, the KC airport is pretty small. But if it were available, there'd be no stopping me, I'd be in Orlando every other weekend!!

Hi Linda- That's so cute Kenny wants to play golf! I played golf for 2 years in high school and was horrible at it. I was there to basically check out all the cute boys.:rolleyes1

I'll be there! :thumbsup2

no, that is exactly their strategy:woohoo: they fly in and out of SMALL cheaper airports:woohoo: and they DO fly to KC!!! check it out www.skybus.com

:lmao: yeah, gotta watch those bic pens. they only have so many seats at the $10, I think the first 10...and then it goes up in increments...and you pay for everything...like $5 ea. for your first 2 bags and $50 for all bags after that...but you can always ship it down yourself first ;)! they keep adding destinations!! Like San Diego:banana: It is killing me!!! Like pozey said... semi-resident!!!!!

lyzziesmom....Yeah for Lyzzie! Those are some good test scores. Congrats on all her end of the year awards too!:cheer2: :cheer2:

I just looked into Skybus, and it DOES fly into/out of KC! However, there is a catch. They only fly from KC to Columbus OH, and they don't do any connecting flights so you have to book 4 one-way tickets. The 1st 10 seats on every flight are sold for $10, so if you book early you can still get that great rate, BUT the only flight out of KC arrives in OH at 1:09am!! So the next flight would have to be the next day, which means we'd need a hotel in OH. And then in FL we'd have to rent a car and drive to Orlando... the "Daytona" location is acutally St. Augustine which is 1/2way between Daytona and Jacksonville. Pretty far from WDW -- but not as far as Kansas! Anyway, it's a great deal if you can work out the logistics, but I just don't think it would be worth the hassle for us for the little bit we'd save in the long run. Hopefully they will expand their service soon!!

great strategy;) not many girls there I'm sure. I think I'll wait til next year though b/c it's for 10 straight Saturdays and he already has t-ball right now. I'm trying to keep it to one thing at a time, at least for now since he's only 6.

we were down in KY and Mikes mom and I are cooking. Typical southern cook... she is ready to feed an army ;) chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, bread...everything..and this is for lunch. Kenny spots a can of Spaghetti O's and wants them...I tell him NO he can eat what we're eating, she insists he can have it and I should just let him have it..... so I say OK...he looks at me w/this sh#% eating grin and says w/those big eyes batting...."spoiled":lmao: I about died:rotfl2:

Wow!! That is so awesome!! Way to go Lyzzie!!

Hey Pozey...where is Napoli's?
Hi YM!!

Napoli's is at 81st and Aspen (or 81st and 145th - whichever you prefer) in Broken Arrow. It is on the Southeast corner of the intersection. It is in a strip-center right beside Luv-A-Pet.

And it's EXCELLENT!!
