I am taking Courtney up to the High School in about an hour. She is going to be April's (neighbor/babysitter/adopted daughter) "show and tell" today.

Actually, it is for April's Child Development class or something like that. So, I am taking Courtney to April's High School and then April is taking Courtney home with her.

I have already warned April..........Courtney may take over that High School before the day is over.......

Oh, I have a feeling she will!!!

I think we are planning on going to one of the matinees either Saturday or Sunday.

Linda: congrats on your raise! That is terriffic news!! Maybe they were sensing that you're getting restless and decided to bribe you to keep you around. I think you should celebrate by taking some DISers to WDW with you! (hint hint)

I'm still waffling on what to do this weekend. Now the weather report says it may or may not rain in Omaha, depending on which report I check. I think I'll just forget it since it's getting so close, and take the kids to see Shrek. They'll like it just as much and it will be a heck of a lot cheaper! I was at WalMart today and they had Shrek III merchandise already on clearance... WTH? The movie hasn't even been out a whole week and already they're clearing out the merchandise? I don't get it.

It's gray and gloomy here today, would have been an excellent day to just stay in bed.

OH! I almost forgot to tell you guys a really funny Emma episode: Last night she was telling me about the kittens at my grandparents' house and she said their noses are tan. I told her that her nose is tan too. She started telling me about other body parts, saying her toes are tan, her elbows are tan, her booty is tan. I said her booty is white, and she insisted it's TAN. I told her "your booty looks like a peach, it's peachy keen," and she said...

I have no idea what that means, but it struck us all as hilarious and she was running around talking about her "poochy keen" all night.

Well, I had a message on the answering machine this evening when I got home; it was from Allegiant Airlines. We were supposed to be flying with them out of the airport that is only about 40 miles from our house.....much more convenient than driving into St. Louis. Our flight was originally from Fri. to Fri. and they called to inform us it had been changed to Thurs. to Thurs!!! I have had my reservations for Universal and WDW for about 2 months, now Allegiant calls to tell me they've changed the flight??!! WTH!!! I do have the option of a full refund; which I am definitely taking advantage of!!! I've already booked SW for my original Friday dates. Just thought I'd share my little drama for the day.


Lesa:: Hi, young lady!! Have you started your packing?? Is your yard still weed-free??

They changed your vacation days. I could see a time delay, but to change days on you. I'm glad they gave you a refund. We booked through Southwest and since we booked the rates have gone down, so now I have almost $300 in credits. I guess I have to plan another vacation, too bad they don't refund you your money.

My yard never looked better thanks to Brittany and her mouth. Actually since then she has been a little angel. Well, maybe I shouldn't go that far, but she has been much better. I have been hoping for a relapse as I saw a few weeks popping up.

Well I just got back from my lawyer. I went to talk to him about the old fart that is suing me and the contractor that screwed up the siding. They have no idea what the old fart is suing me for. From the letter they said it sounded like it was for property damage, which I already paid. The old fart's attorney's office was right across the street from mine so my lawyer knew him really well. We'll see what comes of that.

We also found out the contractor went out of business. So pretty much we're SOL on that. We will have to pay for the repairs and damage out of our pockets. I swear I will never hire another contractor again.

On a good note, last night we discovered one of Madison's hidden talents. She has always been a very good speller. She pretty much has to look at a word a few times and that's it. Oh, and she hates studying them. Anyway, last night I was going over her list for the end of the year spelling test. She was getting tired of me giving her the word and her spelling it, so she asked if she could just spell the words backwards instead. So I said fine, whatever and gave her the first word and darn if she didn't spell it backwards. I gave her more and she spelled everyone of them backwards. David and I were amazed because you would give her the word and she would think for a second and then spell it backwards without stopping to think about it. Who knew?!?!

I haven't tried it yet, but if that's true it would be great. It's nice to save money and have those credits for next time, but then you feel like there has to be a next time! That stinks about the contractor... I'm sure he'll be opening up again under a new name or someplace else. Rats like him always keep turning up it seems. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the old man though. Hopefully he'll turn out to be full of it!

When I told my lawyer about the accident, he didn't see how he would be able to sue for anything else. You never know though. The lawyers letter said if they didn't here from my insurance in 10 days they would have my licence suspended.

That is funny!! I try to picture it, and it's just hilarious. I'm thinking Squirt - from Finding Nemo. Just be thankful that she's talking like an 18 year old and not a 14 or 15 year old.

I remember some of you guys talking about Great Wolf Lodge. Last night Chris and I had Rangers/Twins tickets and we saw a big billboard that they are putting one in Arlington. Very exciting.

I got my test approval to take my theatre content test the day after we get back from our cruise. Our flight lands pretty late Sunday night and then my mom and I are going to drive to Palmer, Texas (where?) and spend the night because its an 8AM test and I would have to leave my house around 5:00AM to get there in traffic since its an hour and half drive in no traffic. I'm very excited and very nervous. If I pass it I have basically been offered a position teaching technical theatre in a new high school. They told me they would wait to interview anyone else until my results came in because they like me so much.

I'm making spaghetti for dinner. Anyone coming over?

we've been to GWL several times...Kenny loves it there. It was the first indoor waterpark in Ohio...so we went all the time. perfect thing for his b-day being in February!!

This weekend at TDS we are running a promotion where anything that is usually "2 for" will be "3 for", usually "3 for" will be "4 for" and so on. Basically you get say, 3 pairs of PJ pals for 25.00 instead of 2, 3 stuffed animals for 20.00 instead of 2, etc. Its awesome!
