Lyzziesmom, cute pictures! Who knew a 'real' mouse could be cute.

I finally heard an update on my uncle. His surgery went fine and the nurses said he slept great. My aunt went to visit him, but he was still sleeping.

My mom just called and told me that my uncle was carjacked and stabbed 16 times. Luckily, a girl found him and called the police or else he would have bled to death. He is in surgery now; most of the wounds were on his arm. They had to do surgery, because the arm was swelling They said he will be ok. I just can't believe it; what is wrong with people?

Oh my Gosh!! I hope everything goes OK!! He will be in my prayers.

Hey hey kiddies---

I am home with the stomach flu (the past two days)----lovely----and am feeling a bit better so I wanted to come and say hi.

Thanks still for everyone's thoughts and prayers. I am seeing a new doctor tomorrow that my doctor recommended who is covered under my new insurance. I had to completely skip all treatments this month due to the chaos but am holding pretty steady.

Michele---what a little punkin, that Lilly is!!!! She is getting so big!! How's the house coming?? Nice visual on the fashion forward shopping bag hat.:cutie: :rolleyes1

.
That stinks that you have been sick. I am glad to hear that the doctor situation might be getting resolved. Fingers crossed that this works out.

Oh yeah, ToT is a piece of cake if you can do Everest!! Kenny can't wait til he's tall enough for EE!!! I'm still cracking up over the push ups too:lmao: he's still talking about our trip.."remember when I told them this...and that":rotfl: He has a GREAT memory!!!

Every once in a while I will think of something Kenny said and start laughing!! He is a DOLL!! Hey, if he likes younger women in many years we can introduce Kenny to Lilly!!

Hurray!! That is wonderful news.

Lesa...how did the skirt turn out? Lesa...tell David to just book the flight for the whole 2 weeks and when the boss says something just say 'wow, I asked and you didn't say no, so since you knew that I needed to make my reservations I assumed that it was fine. So sad, can't change it now!!

Well that's what I would do but we know I'm a witch with a B sometimes:rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Pozey...have you started the new job? and I may have missed it...how did your boss take it when you quit??

Lyzziesmom...Oreo is cute...for a mouse!

I haven't heard from Blake yet today...hopefully soon. When he flew out on Sunday he was wearing a long sleeved shirt...he said it was so warm when he got to London that he changed as soon as he could into short sleeves!! Poor baby!

Matt's baseball team won on Monday...they have another game today but I won't be going. It is way colder and it's away, far away. He can tell me all about it when he gets home:cheer2:

Bree and I are going back to Pottery Barn today to get some things for the wall. I should have bought stock in Home Depot and Pottery Barn before we started this whole thing!!

Hi YM!!! I haven't talked to you lately!!:dance3:

Hi Michele:wave2: Good luck to Matt at his baseball game.:cheer2: What position does he play? DS had a rainout last night. You would have thought it was the end of the world. He plays first base and would like to pitch some...this is thier first year of kid pitch.

Amber...good to hear that the surgery went well and that he is resting well. :goodvibes

Gotta go pick the little angels up from school. :rolleyes1

Hi everyone,

Sorry I've been AWOL for a couple days. I went to the dentist Monday to get those 2 fillings and I told the dentist how I am still having pain in the area where she said there was nothing wrong. Well she referred me to an endodontist because she still doesn't see anything. She said the tooth that is hurting (she determined that by tapping on it :confused3 ) is one that I already had a root canal & crown. It is a tooth I got the root canal/crown at the dental school at, and they didn't do it properly. :furious: They didn't get all the nerve/root out and she thinks that is what is causing me pain.

She said I would have to have a 'surgery' which opens the gum up and gets to the nerve that way  :rolleyes1 Well this makes me very nervous because I can't usually get numb on the bottom row of teeth (this is in my bottom left) for a filling (which was very painful but thats another story), and now they are talking about performing SURGERY on it??? Plus, I have no idea what that type of thing could cost. She 'wasn't sure' if I would need a new crown or not....

Anyway, I was thinking of just getting it pulled, but I'm worried #1 you can see it when I'm talking, (I'm not sure, it is the second tooth in the back, technically the 3rd tooth because I already got my wisdom teeth removed)and #2 that my teeth would start tilting/moving around. I don't know what to do, but I'm sick of having tooth pain all the time. It really brings the quality of your life down, and especially for me because I am obsessive and always worry :rolleyes1 Anybody have any suggestions? My mom says just to get it pulled, and Jeremiah is not being very helpful or supportive right now:headache: I just dont want it to get infected very badly and have that horrible pain like in January! Plus I don't want to be in pain on my vacation.

Amber, I'm glad to hear your Uncle is doing OK. That is so horrible, I hope he isn't too hard on himself.

Lyzziesmom, Oreo is very cute. I actually had 2 mice last year I rescued from the feeder tank :rolleyes1 They lived for a long time.

Amber, that's great news about your uncle!

Lyzziesmom - Oreo is adorable!! That is the cutest mouse (well almost) I've ever seen!

DznyFan, my dentist didn't mention a bridge, but she did mention that I could get an implant if my teeth start moving around. Is that the same thing as a bridge?? She said she wasn't sure about the crown. She actually said they couldn't go through the tooth like a normal root canal procedure because they put some type of pole or stint in the tooth to get the crown to hold it on, there was so little of a tooth left, so if they went through the crown, the tooth would fall apart. ???? I asked her if they put me out for the surgery and she said NO, but maybe that depends on the office. I know if I got it pulled I WOULD get put out because I would go to the same oral surgeon that I went to in Jan. He was very nice to me and I feel comfortable with him so I would go back to him.

Amber- I'm glad the surgery went well!

Ashley- I don't really have any advice for you other than seeing the endodontist first like Dznyfan said.

:rotfl2: that's cute!!

Ashley:hug: A bridge might be a better route to get some info. on! Good luck! The one you went to in Jan. sounds good if you're more comfortable!

No, I think bridges are a little different than an implant. It's like a false tooth that's permanent, but is attached to the surrounding teeth somehow - I think. Maybe they're not doing bridges anymore in your part of the country? I know implants are out there too as an option. I just hope whatever you decide works out for you! I know how much you hate dental work! :flower3:

Ashley: if I were you, I'd probably opt for getting it pulled. I know implants are VERY expensive, and on top of the surgical costs it would be a ton of money. If there is so little left of the actual tooth, it sounds like there's no guarantee there wouldn't be further problems down the road. 2nd to last molar on the bottom left? That's the same one that was bothering me! It still is very sensitive to cold, but hasn't gotten any worse so I'm leaving it alone so far. I've got enough financial burdens (and pain!) right now without having unneccessary root canals. Good luck with whatever you decide. I agree with everyone else... it couldn't hurt to talk to the endodontist and ask all your questions, the more information you have the better you will feel about what is the right decision for YOU.

Pozey...have you started the new job? and I may have missed it...how did your boss take it when you quit??
I start Monday April 23rd. I'm excited.

My boss took it okay. He just knows that my leaving is going to make his job that much more difficult.

Hmmmm... maybe he should have thought of that earlier. I'll never understand when companies treat their employees badly and then act all put-out when they don't stay and can't get "quality people" to work there.

Ashley, I'm no dentist but I thought that the root canal removed the root from the tooth? And there is still some left in your gums? But not attached to your tooth? (Sorry, I'm trying to make sense of this). If thats the case and the root is just deep in your gum and not attached to your tooth how is pulling the tooth going to alleviate the problem? Wouldn't it just expose the root that remains? Teeth are not my thing.

Well, got things to do but wanted to pop in and say hey.
