Hi everyone,
Sorry I've been AWOL for a couple days. I went to the dentist Monday to get those 2 fillings and I told the dentist how I am still having pain in the area where she said there was nothing wrong. Well she referred me to an endodontist because she still doesn't see anything. She said the tooth that is hurting (she determined that by tapping on it

) is one that I already had a root canal & crown. It is a tooth I got the root canal/crown at the dental school at, and they didn't do it properly.

They didn't get all the nerve/root out and she thinks that is what is causing me pain.
She said I would have to have a 'surgery' which opens the gum up and gets to the nerve that way

Well this makes me very nervous because I can't usually get numb on the bottom row of teeth (this is in my bottom left) for a filling (which was very painful but thats another story), and now they are talking about performing SURGERY on it??? Plus, I have no idea what that type of thing could cost. She 'wasn't sure' if I would need a new crown or not....
Anyway, I was thinking of just getting it pulled, but I'm worried #1 you can see it when I'm talking, (I'm not sure, it is the second tooth in the back, technically the 3rd tooth because I already got my wisdom teeth removed)and #2 that my teeth would start tilting/moving around. I don't know what to do, but I'm sick of having tooth pain all the time. It really brings the quality of your life down, and especially for me because I am obsessive and always worry

Anybody have any suggestions? My mom says just to get it pulled, and Jeremiah is not being very helpful or supportive right now

I just dont want it to get infected very badly and have that horrible pain like in January! Plus I don't want to be in pain on my vacation.
Amber, I'm glad to hear your Uncle is doing OK. That is so horrible, I hope he isn't too hard on himself.
Lyzziesmom, Oreo is very cute. I actually had 2 mice last year I rescued from the feeder tank

They lived for a long time.
