Amber, did you have to cancel a trip and are trying to reschedule?

Originally, I put a hold on a room for Dec. since I was able to get 40%. However, after I talked to Mike there was no way he could take off then (especially since he will be the boss then). So, I had to cancel. Just the other day he mentioned going in the fall; I tried to get the same deal but can't now. It's not set in stone that we will be going then, but I wanted to book it now (if I could get the discount). I am now waiting for another code to come out.


I'm sorry you are having problems with your school. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon!

Yesterday, after school Chase said that they have Vision Screening tests done at school. He said that he didn’t think he did very well. For a couple of days now he has complained that his vision is blurry.

So, anyway, today I decide to call my optometrist and make an appointment for Chase. Well, he is no longer on our vision plan!! Well that sucks!! But since both DW and I have been going to this same optometrist for many YEARS, he is going to try and do something so that we can still use our insurance and still see him.

Hopefully Chase’s eyesight isn’t as bad as he thinks it is. I called the school to ask if they were sending the results back from the vision screening they did yesterday. They said that if he did not pass the vision screening, he should have something in his backpack this afternoon.

I don't know. I posted on one of his threads awhile ago. I can't help reading; it's a train wreck. I have my personal opinions on him, but I'm not going to post anymore and have people yell at me.

I think people (on each side) just want to be right. They will keep it up until one of them is proven right, but I doubt that will ever happen.

I did ask the mods why it was allowed to go on and was told that he is doing nothing wrong. If that's what they think, they can have their opinion (even if it does differ from mine).

FC creeps me out! I know a few dissers who say he IM's them frequently!!! I used to check out his threads in the beginning but not really anymore. (I find out about them thru the "other board") It's sad that people can't just let it rest and simply ignore him. Whatever his disability (or not) I think he's a troll.

Lyzzie is big enough for the coasters, but she doesn't like most of them. Actually she'd love them if she would just try, but she is kind of chicken. She does however love Everest, Thunder Mountain and Mission Space. (thumb)

We went to Blizzard Beach last year for a few hours, and she loved it! Now this is a kid who is not a strong swimmer, and I don't like to get my head underwater, so normally we are not fans of most waterparks. Neither of us enjoy the big slides that dump you in a pool at the end... scary! But Lyzzie can't stop talking about Teamboat Springs and the pre-teen area at BB, she really had a ball! And I enjoyed the Lazy River... ahhhhh.

pozey: Good luck w/Chase at the eye doctor. I'm afraid my kids are going to inherit my family's horrible eyesight, it's only a matter of time before their eyes go bad. Lyzzie was convinced last year that she needed glasses because she was borderline pass on the eye screening at school, but the eye dr. said she's actually fine but she will most likely need them in a couple years.

Amber: I saw that discount and I wanted to see if it might be a better deal than my room-only, but it doesn't say anywhere how much of a discount it is, or am I missing something?? I was thinking it might save money since I still have to buy Lyzzie's ticket at full price, but I think I probably got the best deal I'm going to.

I still haven't quite figured out FC. My opinion is that he is a fully-functioning adult, but probably has little to no social skills and this is how he entertains himself, by making up different personnas for himself.

she sounds like Kenny! like on ToT...he said he liked it, we get in line later that day... he decides it upsets his belly and doesn't want to go again. I think he was scared and wouldn't admit it,but I won't push him or make him do any of them. His new favortie is Big Thunder Mountain so, that's not too bad. I really like the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon too!

OMG...as if things aren't crazy enough around here...

I had the house to myself this afternoon...Lilly was at her dad's and the kids were all out...so I'm relaxing on the couch when the phone rings. Some lady tells me who she is, but the name doesn't ring any bells, then she tells me that she lives next door to Blake's parents and their garage just EXPLODED!!!!

It had just happened and they didn't know if his parents were home...she said they had been banging on the doors and there was no answer. Well, his parents refuse to get a cell phone so we have no way to get in touch with them

I call Blake at work and get him out of a meeting, then call his sister who hangs up on me. Matt was over there so I called his cell to see if she even heard me, he said they were already in the car...then I ran to get Nick from Kung Fu and we went there too. On the way my brother Mike called, they live in the city where he is a cop and heard the call, so he called to see if we knew...I told him we were on the way but to let them know that Blake's dad is on oxygen and that is where he stores the tanks, empty and full....which now explains the 6 separate explosions!!!

So we are all standing around in the freezing cold, the wind chill is 21 degrees, watching the garage burn. Mike was able to go in back, apparently the siding on the whole back of the house is melted as well as both neighbors garages on the side facing my IL's.

When his parents pulled up they had no idea what was going on, they saw Briana first so she was the one to tell them

Luckily no one was hurt, unless you count the old MG of Blake's brothers that he had stored in their garage. The fire men said they couldn't even see a car in there, they wanted to know if it was made of plastic

Right now they have no power because the power lines were damaged, but as soon as that is fixed they can at least get back in the house. Except for the melted siding I don't think there was any damage to the house. No one even mentioned if any windows were blown out!

They were very lucky!!

Blake is still over there taking care of things.
