Well our darling Miss Lilly came home this morning...I swear she grew!!!:cool1:

Linda...your package came today...Briana was so excited...she said that she never gets packages and couldn't wait to open it.:cool1: Thank you for all the wonderful things. I have already filled my Grandma's Brag Book!!:rotfl:

Bree and I ran to Babies-r-us for more bases for the car seat. Blake and Nick have gone to the book store and I am running Matt to the store for some storage containers for his closet. How fun!!:rolleyes2

I'll check in later.:wave2:
I'm sure she did grow while she was gone!! :) I'm glad Briana was excited:cool1: I knew those books would be filled in no time ;)! I just couldn't resist all that adorable Pooh stuff they had! Too Cute!!!

Yay for TWO new tv's!!! That is awesome!

I'm Baaack!

Maddie had her x-rays. They did her chest and her nasal passages. I'm waiting for the dr to call with the results.

While pulling out of the hospital parking lot, I was behind a little old man. He proceeded through the stop sign into nooooooo traffic, I pulled up towards the stop sign when all of a sudden he slammed on the brakes!:scared1: Of course I hit him.:worried:
Oh no Lesa!!! I sure hope Maddie is doing better. Sorry that guy slammed on his brakes:rolleyes2 I've seen too many drivers that shouldn't have a license! Just on my road coming home there was an old couple driving 25 in a 35! That drives me crazy!!!! I'm in a hurry to get home and then the slow pokes. I let them have their space...but geeze! GO the speed limit! That is more dangerous going below the speed limit than it is to speed!!!

I kept popping in to read today...but my boss was always around so I couldn't stay too long:rolleyes1 There is always tomorrow ;)

Good evening everyone! Hope everyone had a nice Monday (can Mondays be nice?)

Well, I'm just checking in!

Lesa...gracious sakes...you do have a lot on your plate.:grouphug: Has Maddie been on an antibiotic? DS's asthma can be irritated by a sinus infection. Probably a good idea to go for th x-rays. One other thing I thought of was reflux. That seems to be one of the going theories with kids and asthma...sometimes it is being irritated by reflux (just some thoughts).:goodvibes Hope your DH gets better too. Oh...hope you get your pump fixed, your backyard dry and no more run ins with old men. :scared: Is Brittany holding up? Did I forget anything?::goodvibes

Michele...glad Lilly is home.:goodvibes :goodvibes Just imagine by 5-6 months she probably will have doubled her birth weight!princess:

Nicole...you must not have seen my post about the marathon in Memphis...what better way to celebrate you birthday than a 26 mile run!:faint:

Hey Bonnie..that's cool that you are enjoying lunches with you DIS pals! We all had a great day today. We went to the zoo after school. The weather was wonderful....NO WIND...near 70. It was below freezing this am...so that was a lovely warmup.

lyzziesmom...whew...glad you found your trash can!:thumbsup2 (thumb)

Oh my gosh!!!:faint: Don't rush it!! I remember how quickly they grow. Wish Bree luck, she goes back to school today. Holly, Zach's mom, will pick Lilly up this morning and keep her for the day. Bree will pick her up after school.

Good Morning All!! It's not Monday anymore:cool1: :lmao:

Have a terrific Tuesday!!:beach:

Good morning, Crew!! It sounds like the weather may be warming up for some of our Disers!!:thumbsup2 I think it got into the 50's here yesterday and is supposed to be a tiny bit warmer here today!!! I'm ready!!!! :woohoo:
Our table is ready and waiting this morning. Let's go enjoy breakfast in the warm sunshine!! :sunny:

I hope everyone has a Terrific Tuesday!!!:cool1:

Good Morning!

Donna, breakfast looks fab! I can't wait for it to be warm enough to sit outside. It is so cold and windy today.

Lyzziesmom, I'm glad you were able to find your trashcan. Hopefully, it's learned it's lesson and won't run away again.

Lesa, glad you didn't get a ticket. I really think that people need to be tested yearly or so after they reach a certain age. My grandmother can't drive at all; usually my mom tries to drive her around. Is Maddie feeling better?

Nicole, sorry you aren't going to Memphis, but WDW will be so fun. I haven't stayed at either of those resorts, but I would lean more towards CSR.

Have a great day!!!

Good morning :wave2:

It's a whole 18 degrees here today!:faint: I can't forget my mega millions tickets today! Largest pot ever...355 million. I better play this time!!

our stupid corporate blocked www.disneyshopping.com:furious: :furious: How could they:sad: that is cruel!!

Hope you all have a great day.
Pozey... Courtney's pix are too adorable! she is too sweet!

Okay, so I've decided on a date for my trip, Nov 15th-19th. Now I can't decide where to stay, either CSR or POR. Help me decide!:goodvibes
We stayed at POR last May, and we enjoyed it. Yes, it was very spread out, but if you can request (and receive) certain buildings, then you should be close to everything.

I'm Baaack!

Maddie had her x-rays. They did her chest and her nasal passages. I'm waiting for the dr to call with the results.

While pulling out of the hospital parking lot, I was behind a little old man. He proceeded through the stop sign into nooooooo traffic, I pulled up towards the stop sign when all of a sudden he slammed on the brakes!:scared1: Of course I hit him.:worried: Luckily I was pulling up to the stop sign so I didn't hit him hard.:rolleyes2 I called 911 as the man gets out of his car into traffic. I told the dispatch to please hurry as the old man was going to get hit.:rolleyes2 Then I got out and escorted him back to his car and told him to move it to the side and stay in the car. He got out several times and I had to keep sending him back to his car. The officer came and asked for my Lic. and proof of ins. which of course I didn't have.::cop: Then he went off to talk to the little old man. He came back to my car rolling his eyes and said "Man is he old!":rotfl2:  He had me call home to get my ins. number because he didn't want to give me a ticket. :thumbsup2 (thumb) Brittany was my life saver and got my info.:goodvibes When all was said and done, the officer said since it was private property (that was ify) and there was no damage = no ticket!:cool1: When he handed back my licence I asked him if he would do me a huge favor.....would he please stop traffic so the old man could get back on the road without getting hit again, so he did!:rotfl: :rotfl2: It still took the old man a few minutes to pull out as the officer was rolling his eyes.:lmao:

Well that's my story!:drive: Moral of the story.....stay away from little old men!;)
Well, it sucks that you had a fender bender, but it's good that you didn't get a ticket or anything.

And kudos to you for thinking about the safety of the old man. Well done.

Good morning everyone!

I'm going to have to take some time later and try to catch up on what I missed.

We're back and it's official. We are moving to West Virginia. We had a great time and they made my husband a great offer. I really liked Charleston. Very pretty. My husband will start April 9th. My son and I will stay here until he's done with school. It's going to busy around here. Now I've got to sell my house. I hate that whole process, but hopefully it will sell quickly.

Hope Maddie is ok!

The weather is supposed to be nice here all week.:cool1: Bring on the sunshine!

Well, I'd better go. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone.

Well, yesterday as I pull up to my house, I push the button to open the garage. The door goes up about 2 feet and stops. So, I close it, and try again. Same thing happens. So I go in through the front door and into the garage to see what’s wrong. I look at the door and I notice the spring is broken. So, I call a few places and I am having someone come out and replace the broken spring this afternoon. Bummer. :(

Last night I had to take Colton to the middle school he will be attending next school year. It was just a meeting for parents and students to get information on moving up from elementary school to middle school. They had information on the Pre-AP classes that they offer and other stuff. Colton was so excited – he says he is ready to go to middle school NOW!! :hyper:

Congrats to your husband on the new job. So, is that where you will be moving? Charleston, WV?

Here’s hoping you sell your house quickly.

Good morning!

Donna, thank you for the wonderful breakfast outside in the sun. Just what I needed. You were in the 50s, not fair! We had a high of 22 yesterday and right now it is only 16 but sunny!

I agree! He obviously should not have been on the road. The sad thing is, I looked on the report and his 70th birthday is in 5 days.:( From the looks of him and the way he acted I really thought he was in his mid 80s. Even after the officer helped him back onto the road he was only going 20 in a 45, I was behind him most of the way home. At one point he ran up over the curb

Lesa...gracious sakes...you do have a lot on your plate.:grouphug: Has Maddie been on an antibiotic? DS's asthma can be irritated by a sinus infection. Probably a good idea to go for th x-rays. Oh...hope you get your pump fixed, your backyard dry and no more run ins with old men. :scared: Is Brittany holding up? Did I forget anything?::goodvibes
Yep, you pretty much summed up my life!:rotfl2: We the doctor did call back last night, her lungs look pretty clear, but she has a severe sinus infection. She put her on augmentin. We seem to always go through this, the doctors in the office refuse to put her on an antibiotic, but every single time she ends up needing them. Brittany went to school although she really should have stayed home. Her ISAT testing starts today and they throw a fit if the kids do not show up. I figure this way they will see she is sick and send her home.
Oh my gosh!!!:faint: Don't rush it!! I remember how quickly they grow. Wish Bree luck, she goes back to school today. Holly, Zach's mom, will pick Lilly up this morning and keep her for the day. Bree will pick her up after school.

I'm glad something was figured out so Bree could go to school. Lilly is going to be so big by the time I get to see her again!

Lesa, glad you didn't get a ticket. I really think that people need to be tested yearly or so after they reach a certain age. My grandmother can't drive at all; usually my mom tries to drive her around. Is Maddie feeling better?
They should be tested! Several years ago I was hit by a very old lady that hit gas instead of the break at her stop sign. By the time we were in court she had already been put in a nursing home.:sad2: I still have problems to this day because of it.:rolleyes2

I am thankful for not getting a ticket! I still have to tell my insurance co. The guy had a small dent where the bolt to my licence plate had made contact, my car has no damage. The officer probably thought I was a nut, but I swear that little old man would have been hit again if he::cop: did stop the traffic, by that time it was rush hour.:rolleyes2

Good morning all! Donna, I couldn't see the breakfast this morning but I'm sure it's delicious. I'm just having a little red x instead.

Lesa: I hope the rest of the week calms down for you!

Yolanda: Congrats on your DH's new job! And good luck with the move, I know how stressful it can be, but exciting too.

I told my mom about my plans for our May trip, and I swear the woman makes me so angry. The first thing she said is, "I think you're going to get fired for taking vacation time. I want you to pay me three months rent before you go in case you get fired and can't pay me." Way to be supportive, Mom! I of course refused on the grounds of I'm An Adult. I hate how she can be so negative, every time I need to take even an hour off from work she starts in with the "you're going to get fired" speech - as if I don't already have enough to worry about, she puts that into my head! Ugh - vent over.

Linda: You crack me up... first you say you're blocked from disneyshopping.com, and your very next post is about a discount offer from there!

Lyzziesmom, I completely understand. :grouphug: I think mothers are here just to torment us. (Did I mention that my mom now refuses to talk to me, so I have no idea what her plans are for WDW and the final payment is due tomorrow).

:wave2: morning, everybody!

Thanks for breakfast, Donna!

Lesa - still hoping Maddie gets to feeling better soon - and no more hitting little old men!! ;)

Lyzziesmom - hurray for your trash can coming home... did you get your basement looked at last night? Sorry to hear your mom is giving you grief about your decision to take vacation.

Pozey - that's great that Colton is so excited about going to Middle School!

Linda - blocked from Disney shopping???? How dare they!

Good Morning!

Donna- Thanks for the breakfast!

Oh and you'll be there on my birthday, so you'll have to ride a ride for me!!::yes::

:thumbsup2 (thumb)

Nicole...you must not have seen my post about the marathon in Memphis...what better way to celebrate you birthday than a 26 mile run!:faint:

Congratulations on the move and your DH's job Yolanda!!!

Everyone thanks for the advice. I think I will stay in CSR.

Lesa- You had a rough day! Thank goodness you weren't given a ticket! I do believe people after a certain age should be tested every year or so. Well, many younger people need to be tested every year or so too!:rotfl: They drive like crazy people!

Have a great day!
