We have never had to leave her behind. We usually go with family so when she got to be too much, someone was there to distract her and give us time to regroup. I would find it hard to leave them behind, I have threatened it, oh, every time we go!:lmao: Where kind of places do you usually eat at there?

Linda, how far do you live from the MI border?

I think just over 2 hrs... I can make it to the Cabelas store in about 2 hrs 15 min. if I remember correctly:rolleyes1 I have been wanting to take Kenny there soon too!

that is awesome Nicole! we all know you will love it and be awesome at it as well. Esp. those disney trips:cloud9: I know being a ta for AAA has awesome discounts:cool1:

I'm trying to figure out how to get the best discounts, best pay, and most time off. I've come up w/.... winning the lottery:lmao:

If I get my RN, 3 12's.... Mike work at airline for interline discounts, and he can be a temp at wdw a few times a year:rotfl: :rotfl2:  that would be awesome...but I doubt he'd go for that:rotfl: he'd only have to work 2 days a month at the airline and a few days a couple times a year and get INCREDIBLE discounts:banana: but I haven't mentioned it:rotfl2: he'd think I really bumped my head:rolleyes1 maybe I did. But it sure would work great for vacations:yay:

Great plan!!! If only Mike would go for it!:rotfl:

Nicole - Hope you get your ta job! Since I stared the work from home one (well, I haven't quit my day job yet...) it's been great - get to help people out with their trips to the most awesome place in the world! (so far I've only done Disney trips) it ROCKS!

I have decided if I am offered it, not to take it. I really need to finish school. I just had no time to really think about it. I applied for the job about 3 weeks ago. It said you needed to have call center experience and I don't other than answering phones here, so I thought they weren't going to look at my application. Then yesterday I received a call to come in 2 hours later for the interview.

I just had my first bleeped out word.:rotfl2: :lmao:

:rotfl:

Oh, and my older daughter's name is Brittany, and she is very rebellious. I think that goes along with the name also.;) We do make her keep her panties on though! :lmao:

:rotfl: Yes, make sure she keeps her undies on!!!:rotfl:

woops:rolleyes1 I hate when that happens. Mike broke my Lenox mickey this morning:guilty: thankfully it was an inexpensive one...if it was my $600 Armani Mickey I think I would have :faint: I think I better re-arrange my disney stuff in the bedroom. he bumped into the shelf and it fell off and broke in 3 pieces. At least now you will get a new toaster, if you were wanting one ;)

Oh no!!!!

Oh no!!!!
yeah, that is the hard part:rolleyes1 but you never know. Maybe he can do the airline position a few days a month and I can do the rn/temp at wdw:rotfl: no matter what...I wanna go to wdw/dcl as much as possible. As if you guys didn't know that already:lmao:

oops... I should edit..it wasn't an expensive one... thank god! It was Mickey holding a birthday cake w/my birthstone and he had a party hat on....so cute!!

I think we just may have to have a mini meet somewhere this summer while I'm home. Home meaning MI, I still don't consider IL my home come to think of it, I was born and raised in Ohio and I don't consider that my home either.:rotfl2: Michele lives about an hour from MI/OH border.

Ooooooh! Ooooooh! Another great deal for those of you that don't venture over to the budget board. If you need computer paper, you can get 10 reams and a box of paper clips sent to your house next day for $16 if you order it from office depot.

I'm having trouble with the multi-quote this morning, so I may have missed a few things I wanted to comment on. I woke up with a KILLER headache :headache: so I really don't feel like going back and trying to think about it.

i have 2 daughters..lol. Mikayla is the oldest and poor little maddie will not be joining us on the next trip to WDW. She is a handful:goodvibes

First of all, Welcome Gina!! My girls are 8 and 2 and this year I am doing separate WDW vacations with each of them. For our Cliqueless meet in Februrary I brought Emma (my 2-year-old) and it was a lot of fun, but she is a pistol! In May I am going with just me and Lyzzie (my 8-year-old) and we plan to ride as many rides as possible. It's just such a different experience with each of them, I feel guilty leaving one at home but I love the alone time I get with each of them, we don't get that kind of quality time at home. And then if they offer Free Dining again this year, we will probably go for a longer trip in the fall with my parents. We did that last year and it worked out great because I had so much help with the girls, and we could split up sometimes. I'm a single mom, so when I take them both I really have my hands full!! Don't feel guilty for leaving Maddie behind - she is still little and she'll forgive you.

Sorry my story was a little long but I am soooooo relieved to be out of the situation and wanted to share with my friends.

I hope everyone has a great day. It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!

Sherri: congrats on the improvement at work! I hope the new store works out better for you. Your story sounds familiar, I think we were talking about it at WDW. I'm so glad they helped resolve the issue for you!! I'm sure the drive will be well worth it. When I used to have a 45-minute commute, I would rent books on CD from the library -- I would get so into the story that I actually hoped for bad traffic so I could listen longer!

I think that's what I will do. I tossed and turned all night debating. If I am offered the position I will turn it down. In the end I need my degree.

I think that's probably the best decision, unless they are willing to work around your school schedule. Perhaps you could explain to them that you really feel that your degree is your top priority right now, but you'd appreciate it if they would consider you again once you graduate. When I was in college, I went to a non-traditional accelerated program school and several students received job offers while in school -- I've seen it go both ways, one girl took the job and quit school and made a ton of money and got a lot of experience. Another took the job and continued at school, and the job didn't work out -- he was so glad he hadn't quit. Still others turned down the jobs and many were waiting for them upon graduation. You just have to do what is right for YOU.

We are very a friendly bunch. This thread is a thread for friendship, support, and just plain entertainment! Join us anytime! We promise not to ignore you!:)

Well said, Lesa! :thumbsup2 (thumb)

I just had my first bleeped out word.:rotfl2: :lmao:

Congratulations!!

I have to know if poor little maddie is about 2. My DD is 2 and is a handful. We often consider not taking her to Dis, but don't have the heart to leave her behind. Of course, we would have much more peaceful dinners if she wasn't around.

If I didn't welcome you already, then I'm doing it now. Don't feel intimidated that we all know each other, some of us have been here longer than others and we just love new people! It's a good place to vent, share, and just ramble. See my remarks above to Gina about my DD2 and leaving her home. You get a completely different experience without the littlest one... and it's so much fun to shop for souvenirs for them! I end up buying too much because I feel guilty when they are not with me, but it's one of my favorite parts of the trip, shopping for the one who is at home.
