Is the fantasmic package that comes with sci fi the same as the one that comes with brown derby?
I just booked for end of September (first time doing the package) and I booked “dinner” but was still given “first show.” Do they always have two showings of Fantasmic?I heard you can only go to the early show if you use it for say lunch, but we would like to go to the second show. Does which pkg we get affect that? I know sci fi gives you the app or dessert and the entree - do you get both app and dessert at hbd?
No, some nights are 1 show and some nights are 2 shows. But I think the dining package is only for the 1st show regardless. I spot checked trying to book some dates that have 2 shows listed and the package was only available for 1st show, there didn't seem to be an option for 2nd show.I just booked for end of September (first time doing the package) and I booked “dinner” but was still given “first show.” Do they always have two showings of Fantasmic?
AFAIK the dining packages have always only ever been for the first showtime during nights when there’s two. Bear in mind they don’t always have two shows a night and it’s generally only during busier times of the year.I heard you can only go to the early show if you use it for say lunch, but we would like to go to the second show. If they allowed that it would be a waste of money. It’s definitely unnecessary for the second show.I heard you can only go to the early show if you use it for say lunch, but we would like to go to the second show…
So you think we should skp the package, esp in a less busy time like September? If they allowed that it would be a waste of money. It’s definitely unnecessary for the second show.
Woah there. I thought you said you wanted the 2nd show so I assumed there was actually a second show for your dates. Check your entertainment calendar. I’m not seeing second show on the schedule for Sept at this time. I’d book the package and then cancel if a second show pops up.So you think we should skp the package, esp in a less busy time like September?
It's so hard, I used to have some idea what I was doing - then I moved to phoenix and I've been out of the loop for a decade. So I'm in this weird place where I feel like I should know what I'm doing but so much as changed and yet so much is the same and it's all kind of confusing in a way that it wasn't the first time I was learning the ropes.Woah there. Disney doesn’t run Fantasmic twice when lighter crowds are expected. Despite lighter crowd expectations, the show can still reach capacity.
I understand! It was almost ten years between trips for me and so much changed over those years. It's so hard, I used to have some idea what I was doing - then I moved to phoenix and I've been out of the loop for a decade. I did not know you could use the DDP on a package! I was planning on 50s Prime Time for one of our TS meals, and I see that is on the list for the package.I will book the package at Hollywood and Vine if I have the dining plan because it is a great use of a table service credit since the package is $81 for an adult.
