Hi everyone!!!

Hope you all had a nice weekend. All we did was watch Playoff Basketball. So far, all of my predictions have been right. (thumb) I'm sure Jeremiah is jealous, considering he knows way more about basketball than I do.

Hi 2x!! Long time, no see. I'm doing ok. Alittle nervous still, about my tooth. I have an appointment with the endodontist the 24th (my parents 21st anniversary!) and I guess we'll get the verdict then!! Hopefully they can see whatevers wrong with my tooth- the dentist can't see anything! I am very excited about my trip..It should be a nice little vacation. I'm so jealous your going to Ft.Lauderdale. My next trip planned isn't until August. BTW, thanks for posting that recipe for Frozen Hot Chocolate! I've always wanted to try it.

We are on about week five of terrible allergies/asthma with DS. Just can't seem to get him 100%. Hope she's feeling better tomorrow. Your new car looks great. Linda, you asked if I had ever been to Holiday World. Yes, we've been several times. It is clean and very family-oriented. The soft drinks are free; they have kiosks and all of the little restaurants just give them to you free when you order. If you drink sodas (they have Pepsi products) it definitely is a great perk!! They have several pretty awesome coasters as well as fun and cute things for smaller children to do. Here is a link.

I just booked a little weekend trip to Ft. Lauderdale in a couple of weeks. My niece is making her First Communion

Also, my grandma had surgery today. She fell and broke her hip on Friday

Linda-----I forgot to respond about the movie you watched. I think I have heard of "Unforgotten", but for the life of me can't jog my memory. Please do this old, foggy brain a favor and refresh it. Thanks, dear.

Mike took Kenny to the library and they rent dvd's and books...and that was one of them. It was about a lady that was grieving over the loss of her 9 yr old son that was killed in a plane crash over 14 months earlier and she just could not let go, well come to find out, the son never was killed at all but he was abducted by aliens for an experiment. They were trying to see if they could disolve the connection between mother and child and in most cases, they were able to, except her...they could not make her forget her son!! So the "main alien" that looked human of coarse stole every memory of her son at the end...but then she remembered being pregnant!! And she sits up and says..I had life inside of me...I had a son...his name is Sam!! It was incredible... the alien was sucked back into the sky and she got her life back...she ran to the park where her son was and found him there playing...It was an INCREDIBLE movie. It doesn't show much about the aliens, the only "alien" you see looks human and everything so its not creepy or anything. It kind of reminded me of T2 w/that guy b/c the cops shot him and he'd just heal instantly it was so awesome. Kenny watched it w/me and he loved it too! Mike was watching that and the race in another room, he kept coming out trying to keep up w/the movie on commercials then he watched it all over on Sunday again w/the alternate ending. it was awesome!

yay for catching the foul ball Yeah, we ran over to moms Sat and fixed it, and threw the "for sale" sign in the yard. Mike and I fixed it in about 10 minutes, nothing to it! We've already received a few calls about the rental yeah, the 29th is the big 30th...and I made things really easy on Mike...our anniversary is the 27th

Good Morning, crew! Just a short stop in this morning - I'm actually at work. I was unable to finish my month-end accounting reconciliations on Friday because I spent most of my time waiting on the software to produce my reports. I lost so much productive time! Since we don't have to be at the hospital until 11:00, I came in to tie up the loose ends.

Sounds like everybody had a lovely weekend! The weather was just beautiful here.

omg... I feel so bad Mike just called and his mom called and said they found his uncle dead this morning !! He was 56 and Mike helped him all the time. He was crushed by steel pretty bad a few years ago, he couldn't work anymore after that, so his wife of 30 yrs divorced him he just got his divorce, had nurses coming daily (thanks to Mike setting it all up for him) and was getting things back to a somewhat normal life. He had diabetes and didn't watch what he ate Its just so sad!! Kenny is going to be crushed. He called him "santa clauses cousin" b/c he had the white hair and beard. He'd call him and tell him to give Santa messages he told him he was special and he'd get a Christmas in July too ! they would go over all the time and take him food, check on him, every TH. Mike picked him up and him, Mike and Kenny went around paying his bills and running errands for him. He called several times a day. Mike is going to be lost. He had two uncles that were retired that he talked to during the day quite a bit and he was one of them. Sorry to ramble...I just feel so bad!! It was Mikes mom's baby brother...she's going to be crushed. I know he's in a better place!!

Louis is a black lab... mom was in the middle of getting her car fixed so Kenny didn't get to see him yet. Probably this week...Kenny is so excited, he just can't wait. he's such an animal lover!!

Lesa: The skirt came out looking great!! Was the poodle part of the fabric, or an applique? It's really cute, and she looks so precious. That Tink necklace looks very much like one I bought at WDW for Lyzzie - she doesn't wear it much because she's afraid of breaking or losing it.

Linda: I am so sorry about Mike's uncle. It sounds like Kenny especially will take it very hard. That's a hard thing to understand at his age. At any age, really.

My mom looked at her calendar this morning and realized she had Emma's birthday written on the wrong month! I guess she really wants her to grow up fast?

I am starting to get so excited about our upcoming trip! We went to the Disney Store yesterday to catch the end of the 40% off sale. I got the kids matching blue Tink polo shirts. Emma doesn't like hers because "it's too boy." Which is hilarious, because most of the time she gets gender wrong and will call boys girls, and girls boys. And animals... forget it. "That dog is not a girl, he's just a dog!" I called Emma a good girl the other day and she said, "No I'm not!" I said, "Are you a bad girl?" She said, "No I'm good, but I'm not a girl, I'm just Emma Rose and I'm 2!" Anywhooo... Lyzzie got a Flower the Skunk mini-snowglobe for $4.00 to add to her collection. And we counted out the money in our Disney Dollars piggy bank and bought $121 of Disney Dollars! Woohooooo! I've only been saving since we got back from our meet and I was happily surprised to see how much was in there.

We've really got to buckle down this week and get all set for our garage sale... we plan to have it on Sat & possibly Sun, and I don't have anything ready! I have thrown a bunch of stuff in boxes and that's about it. My parents brought over some tables from their house, but I have a whole basement full of junk at their house that needs to be gone through and brought over - I'm getting tired just thinking about it. Hopefully we'll raise a bunch more money for the trip though... I really need it!

I am so beyond livid right now. You might remember a while back I was complaining that my pain management doctor made me sign a "narcotics agreement" that basically says I need to comply with a bunch of rules in order to receive treatment and prescriptions from him. One of the rules is a monthly drug test to ensure I'm taking my meds and not taking any others. Well as if that wasn't bad enough (remember he got uppity with me about taking a Rx that he had discontinued prescribing, but I still have some leftover?) I just got a bill from the lab. $1003.00!! AND my insurance is only covering 60%, so I am responsible for $400.00 of this bill, which is something he wants me to do every month! I am so beyond p.o.'ed right now, I almost didn't come back to work after my lunch break because I can't control my anger. There are just no words to describe what I'm thinking right now. I am switching doctors, right now, TODAY, and never going back to that idiot again. The thing that kills me is, I have FINALLY found something that helps alleviate my pain, and now he's doing everything in his power to take it away from me. If I refuse the test at my next visit, he will refuse to prescribe me my medication, plain and simple. And then my mom tells me that the office will probably charge me for a copy of my medical records on top of all this bs!! I just hope the new doctor doesn't make me start over from square one with testing and low-dose meds, because I just can't go through another two years of daily crippling pain.

I'm sorry to vent so much, but I am just so upset and at my wits end right now. I'm calling the new dr. right now, hopefully I can get an appointment within the next 2 weeks so I can get all refilled up before vacation.

Don't read if you have a weak tummy

uhh is this day over yet I've been filling out all these forms and trying to take care of one of our guys. He got his left pinky amputated this weekend while working...a telephone pole rolled on him while they were loading them and he went to the hospital, got it cut off at the 1st knuckle, and went back to work what a crazy day!!!

lyzziesmom I'd be fuming too! that is insane! good luck w/a new Dr. it sounds like the best thing if he's going to play those games!
