Hello cliqueless cliquers.

My first day here at the new job. So far, it has been great. They didn’t have my PC (a nice laptop by the way) quite ready for me when I arrived this morning, so I had time to unpack a few things.

Went around and met most all the other employees. Everyone is very nice.
Then, a few of them took me to lunch – at Abuelo’s.
Now, I’m just kind of settling in. Just basically getting a feel for everyone and everything.

Lyzziesmom and Lesa……….GREAT pictures!! Very nice.

We had a nice quiet weekend around the pozey household. Did a lot of yardwork and stuff around the house. Planted some flowers, mowed, trimmed……..just stuff like that. It was very nice here. We also watched Happy Feet. I really didn't care for it all that much.

Chase has a baseball game tonight and Colton has a swim meet. I think this is the only time this year that Chase will have to miss a swim meet for baseball.

DznyFan……..hope Erin’s surgery went well. Keep us updated. I don’t know if I ever saw you say who was doing the surgery. I’ll keep both of you in my prayers.

Nicole, yep, the Rockets are in the playoffs! There is another game on tonight, its an exciting time at our house Its funny, we were talking last night about how we should've gone to Houston for a game instead of Universal. But we didn't know they were going to be in the playoffs until recently

Let us know if you get to try the frozen hot chocolate recipe. I keep telling myself I will try it, but it hasn't happened yet. Story of my life.


YM--- (haven't done that in a while )-----wow, have you been using some volumizing shampoo?? Your hair looks lovely in that photo of you catching the ball. Do I get a prize if I can name that picture?? Freaky Friday!!!! (the original, of course----one of my all time favorites!!!)
Good job on the catch------glad to see your youngster skills are still coming in handy.
Have fun getting your pedi!!! What color are you getting?? or just a French?? Either will look good with the cute and inexpensive strappy sandals.
Is your sis getting nervous?? Are you all having your hair and makeup done??

Linda----OMG!!! I am so sorry to hear about Mike's uncle!!! He was telling me about him at MGM when you all were on ToT. I could tell by the way he was speaking about him that he was a very special man and extremely important to he and Kenny. Please know that you, Mike and Kenny (and his family) have my deepest sympathy!!!




DznyFan----hopefully you got your work done before Erin's scheduled appointment. I don't know how you could have concentrated, though. Let us know how she did.



Lyzziesmom----way to go on saving for the Disney Dollars!!!! It's amazing how much you can save by just focusing and putting the loose coins aside. (which reminds me, maybe I should clean out the bottom of my purse )
Good luck on the garage sale-----hopefully you can rake is some more dollars!!
OMG---that is ridiculous that he is insisting you have these monthly tests in order for you to get meds refilled. Can you tell him that your insurance does not cover the entire cost and you just can't swing that amount of money each month?? You're right, maybe it is time to move on and find another doctor. Keeping my fingers crossed that first of all, you find someone you are comfortable with, and second, you don't have to start from scratch.


Pozey---sounds like your first day is going (went) very well. Everyone sounds so nice and I'm impressed that they took you to lunch.
Also sounds like you had a nice weekend. I saw Happy Feet at the theater, and I must admit----it was just okay. I didn't love it like other people. The part where the "leader" had the plastic can holder around his neck really bothered me. I know it was a lesson to be taught, and it ended up all good at the end, but it was really disturbing to me. Parts of it were cute, but I liked Cars so much better.



Lesa-----You probably don't have any answers yet, but I was thinking about you today for your testing.



Thank you all for the prayers for my grandma. She did okay during the hip surgery yesterday, but they could not get her off of the ventilator, so she was in intensive care through the night and much of the morning. About noon today, they were successful of taking her off of the breathing machine and they got her to drink some juice. Remember, this is my grandma who was in the hospital a while back who wouldn't eat. Well, she is notorious for not wanting to eat, so they are still struggling with this. She says she just isn't hungry, which is probably understandable in her condition, but I wish she could see that she needs to get stronger.

yep... he sure did! They were loading a truck that was 3 hrs away and they finished the load and brought it back!! it happened at 1:30pm and he didn't leave Indy until around 11:30 pm I can't imagine!!! Those guys work nonstop....so he says to me when I'm filling out all this paperwork..."well, I took Sunday off" gee, glad you at least did that!! he said he'd take this weekend off too crazy guy!

yep, that is the one Mike was just telling his cousin tonight that Jim had been know to get poor Kenny in trouble from time to time Kenny would repeat certain words he's not allowed to say Kennys response about it was "well, I guess I won't get to ever see him again" poor little guy! I sure hope your grandma gets to eating! I remember her not wanting to eat last time! I'll be praying for her! I hope you're doing well w/your med stuff too!!

Just had to share;

I called Disney just now and they had Pop Century available for my dates with free dining That lifted my spirits, I was in bad mood today...

I'm still worried about my appointment tomorrow (especially after I read about this woman who posted on the Budget board, she needs 10,000 worth of dental work done and is considering going to Mexico to get it done ) I know I don't need as much work as her, considering my dentist doesn't even see anything wrong with that tooth... I am just paranoid!!!!

Linda, I guess I know it will be ok, but I'm worried that he says I need something done on the tooth that already has the crown, and I'm concerned because you can "sometimes" see the tooth when I smile and talk...I'm really paranoid about that...I know I have the option for the implant/bridge but thats expensive too! I guess thats my number 1 concern (people being able to see that I'm missing a tooth.) If I have to get it pulled, I know it won't be bad because I'll be put out and won't be awake...

I hope Mike is doing ok tonight. You guys are in my thoughts!!!

You got it dude. Freaky Friday(original)!!! My sister is a little stressed. My toes are nice and bright...hope it looks ok. Nope...I'm doing my own makeup and hair. I'm going to wear my contacts and add extra mascara to the lashes and give my hair some gel and a good blast with the dryer. (please someone help me I'm a Plum addict).

Goodness what a demanding queenie...let's see jelly donuts, lemoncillo, antipasto, pick me up, drop me off...................hmmmm?

Glad to hear your Grandma is breathing on her own. Hopefully tomorrow she will start eating.

Lyzziesmom...sorry about all the problems with your Dr. The bill sounds frustrating and really high. :sad2 Will you insurance usually cover blood work? The only time I saw a high dollar blood work bill was when my DS was having some allergy tests done by blood work. They didn't bill the insurance and sent it straight to us. It was over $1000. The inusrance paid like $400 and our part was $0. Good luck.

omg... I feel so bad Mike just called and his mom called and said they found his uncle dead this morning !! He was 56 and Mike helped him all the time. He was crushed by steel pretty bad a few years ago, he couldn't work anymore after that, so his wife of 30 yrs divorced him he just got his divorce, had nurses coming daily (thanks to Mike setting it all up for him) and was getting things back to a somewhat normal life. He had diabetes and didn't watch what he ate Its just so sad!! Kenny is going to be crushed. He called him "santa clauses cousin" b/c he had the white hair and beard. He'd call him and tell him to give Santa messages he told him he was special and he'd get a Christmas in July too ! they would go over all the time and take him food, check on him, every TH. Mike picked him up and him, Mike and Kenny went around paying his bills and running errands for him. He called several times a day. Mike is going to be lost. He had two uncles that were retired that he talked to during the day quite a bit and he was one of them. Sorry to ramble...I just feel so bad!! It was Mikes mom's baby brother...she's going to be crushed. I know he's in a better place!!
