See here's the thing... pictures of raw meat will do the same thing to me that all this coaster talk is doing to so many of the rest of us. Until it's cooked to certain death and smothered with sauce on my plate, it's just roadkill to me.

Do you recall a photo Linda posted about a month ago of this beautiful filet mignon? Did that bother you? We can try and make sure Pozey cooks the meat first!?

Oh, nice long relaxing days are so fun...sleep in until 10:30, eat breakfast, watch TV, then lay down for a nap at 2. Jeremiah needs to hurry up & win the lottery!!! Then we could do this everyday. (definite thumb )

Lyzziesmom- I'm not sure if we are renting a car yet or not. I think it may be cheaper for us to just take Mears, I priced it and it was $53 roundtrip for the both of us. Unless I get a really good rental quote Ofcourse renting a car would be more convienient, I hate driving with those guys but we aren't going to need it after we get to Universal Property! I will have to see if I canmuster up the courage to ride Everest again remember, I was the one that looked like this while riding:

PS: Michele, has anyone called you Grandma yet?
My mom couldn't stand it, that's why she is Grammy. Actually I teased her and called her Granny for a few days, that's what HER Grandma was called and she said it was for "old ladies" so of course I had to bug her with it... and somehow it turned into Grammy. BTW, I wouldn't be surprised if you often get mistaken for Lilly's mom, there's no WAY you look like you could have a granddaughter. Enjoy that sweet little muffin for us!!

Thanks for saying I don't look old enough (thumb) I will just be called Gramma... we don't use any other names in my family...just our tradition. Matt couldn't say Gramma and Grampa so he called them Gang and Paie .. His own invention. But that only lasted until he could say them properly. Broke their hearts when he stopped

I'd love to go to Cedar Point. Mike LOVES coasters, so I hope one day to make it out there.

When I was a teen my mom (who does NO planning for vacations ever) woke up and decided to go to Niagara Falls. So, we drove all day to get there, spent a few hours there (never went to Canada, long story) then she decided we'd go to Cedar Point. We drove to Ohio and she thought it would be more fun to go to Sea World instead. We went to Sea World and then she decided to go to Hershey Park. Why we couldn't go to Cedar Point I will never know.

Oh, this was one of the better vacations we went on.

Wow...none of those places are very close are they?? How long was this trip??

See you learn something new everyday. I have only ever heard it called the showing or the viewing.

Big rollar coasters scare the crap out of me! Ask Michele, you get on a coaster with me, you may not have hearing for a while when you get off.

She isn't kidding!! We went to Vegas to visit Mike and Sandy once, then the 6 of us rented a van and drove to Disneyland...on the way we stopped at a casino at Stateline and rode the coaster there. At the time it was the biggest one...it started in the casino, then went out into the parking lot. I rode with her and was deaf for hours!!! But it was fun!!!

The new coaster for 2007, heck no, I won't go!

Michele:: Wow!! What a really great thing for your dad to do!!! He definitely deserves a medal for best father/grandfather/great-grandfather!! One of my worse memories of Nathan's babyhood is the sleep deprivation. DH used to say my hormones were going crazy....NO!!! It was just lack of sleep!!!
Aawww!! That's the cutest pic of little Lilly. Her fingers are precious and she has the most adorable dark hair!! Do you remember the day we were at DTD and I saw the red Belle dress? I commented how cute that dress would look on a little brunette??

Oh she will look soo cute in that dress!! I can't wait!! My mom and dad were saying the other day how excited they are to be able to share Disney World with her.

I hope everyone is doing alright. I've been in an icky mood lately----just alot of things on my plate again.
I think I need another vacation!!!! Too bad my vacation time at work and budget doesn't allow.

I love Cedar Point!! Like Lesa said she, David and Mike used to work there. We have been there soo many times. I went along last June with Matt's 8th grade trip and will be there in June with Nick's. I love the coasters!!!! My friend Leslie and I were riding Millineum (sp?) last June and it started to rain...Let me tell you...going that fast - rain HURTS!!

I have to clear something up...I am not the one doing all the work with her...Briana is completely in charge...we help when we need to, or want to but Bree is doing an amazing job of taking care of her!! I am really proud of her, I can literally watch her mature before my eyes!!!

Did I tell you that I have made our reservations for Royal Pacific for July. I got the Stay 4 Night Play for Free deal. I only had to buy Nathan's ticket. Is the RPH much of a walk to IOA? The walk to US from Hard Rock wasn't long at all...maybe 5 minutes or so.

I'm about as far away from Edwardsville as I am from St. Louis. I used to go to a doll shop there every once in a while. Is the antique shop downtown? There used to be quite a few quaint little shops in that area.
I'm glad there were no serious injuries during the bridge collapse yesterday. My sis told me today that the pillar supporting the bridge is what actually fell?


Oh, my. Gary is on the phone with an Ameren IP(our power company) supervisor. Our power bill was supposed to go up 50% after the first of the year, but increased by about 100%!!! Not only did they raise the rates astromically, but we also lost our Total Electric discount. If I lose power soon I guess we'll know why.

Surprising, the trip only lasted 4 days. One day to drive to Niagara Falls. We spent the night in Buffalo (we arrived around 11pm). The next day we spent a few hours in Niagara. We left there and drove to Ohio. We ate Japanese food in a mall, then saw Forrest Gump. The next day we went to Sea World and then drove to PA. The fourth day we went to Hershey and drove home (about a 2 hour drive).


I have to say Lilly is just the cutest! She has so much hair.
