Now *somebody* keeps hanging up on me every 5 minutes or so. Gawd I can't wait for this day to be over!!

Do you think they sell alcoholic drinks at the Wiggles concert? ;)

wow..what a jerk! Hopefully you have caller id. :sad2:

It probably depends on the location... I think our arena does ;)

Ooohhh....a massage sounds divine! I definitely want to go to Atlantis and do some shopping.

I wanna go now!!!!!!!
Nicole - the shopping is SO cool - there's some major high-dollar shops in Atlantis proper - (like Gucci)

Then there's this really neat little shopping village (think Bahamian Disney Village Marketplace/DTD) just outside of Atlantis, but still on Paradise Island -there's all kinds of little shops in there - clothing, jewelry, gifts, and a Jamba Juice and Starbucks. Cool little place to hang out. I can't remember if it's actually part of Atlantis or not... it's just not INSIDE the resort like the other shopping. And there's always the casino there, too - you can at least go in, play a couple slots, leave, and say you've gambled in the Bahamas!!

The massage on Castaway Cay - that's a whole other day and wonderful experience. The cabanas are on the adult beach, and they have a big open air window(s) on them. They're up so a person can't just look in the windows The biggest open window is on the ocean side, and you can lay there and here the waves while you get your massage....

Michele:: Where you been? Did the company from Illinois wear you out? Aren't you back in school this week? Inquiring minds want to know!!!;)

Well, better run!!! Talk with you all later!!!

You have NO idea...I'll fill you all in later

Good morning Trisha! I didn't give you my official :welcome:

Yes Trisha...:welcome: Sorry, I've been crazy the last few days, welcome to our bunch!!:flower3:

We had a very busy weekend! Did we stay out of trouble....of course not, trouble seems to follow us!

Anyone know what the heck this is suppose to be?
mudbug.gif
:rotfl2:

Lesa, what the heck is that???:confused3 And where do you find these things??

We had a nutty weekend, I'm just glad it's over!

Yolanda: Have fun looking at houses, I love doing that! Then I realize all the ones I love are way out of my price range. Sigh.

Saw my first pair of truck genitalia today. Have you guys seen these? They are replicas of male private parts that dangle below the truck's trailer hitch. Very tacky and gross!! I had read about them here on the DIS and couldn't believe it, and there it was in front of me this morning, larger than life. Yick!

I know definitely need to purchase a new house.

LM...that is just yuck!!!:scared1:

I'll have to check with Dh on what he thinks. Brittany's birthday is October 15th and Matt's I believe the 12th.

Actually, Aunt Lesa...Matt's birthday is the 11th:rolleyes:

I'll have to talk to Blake about a cruise!

I just need to vent for a second. Sometimes I really hate people!! This nasty guy has been calling here at work all day, he has a question about a subscription on one of our magazines. So, I sent him to the subscription department, which is really just one girl and her manager. Of course she wasn't there, because the guy called at lunchtime. I asked him if he'd like to leave a message, and he refused and started harassing me asking "doesn't anybody work there?" I explained that he would really need to talk to that girl and I don't have the information he wanted. So he just hung up. He called back about an hour later - she was on the phone. So he again refused to leave a message and hung up. He just called again, and started right in with yelling about how "I've called 6 times today [a lie] and nobody is their in your [expletive] company!" I put him through to her, she was on the phone. I immediately put him through to her manager, who didn't answer. I got the guy back on the phone and he cursed at me again about nobody answering his [expletive] call. I told him, "I'm sorry but there are just two people in the subscription department, would you like to leave a voicemail for the subscription manager?" His answer: "No I don't want to leave a [expletive] message when nobody is obviously there anyway, and by the way you have a really nasty attitude!" Um excuse me, *I* have a nasty attitude? I told him I'm sorry he feels that way, and he hung up. He called back immediately and hung up on me when I answered. Now *somebody* keeps hanging up on me every 5 minutes or so. Gawd I can't wait for this day to be over!!

What a jerk...they could have helped him if he had just left a message! Sorry you had to deal with that!

the guys are cracking up at me... they saw the disneycruise website up on my computer:rolleyes1 ..."didn't you JUST get back":rotfl: no, that was almost THREE weeks ago!:rotfl2:

OH - and those truck cojones. Yeah, seen 'em. NOT impressed. What the *bleep* are people thinking putting them on their vehicles!?!? The first time I saw them, I said, "What is that on that truck??

What exactly is the statement they are trying to make, anyway?

(Pozey, you're male, can you enlighten us?)

Funny thing - on our cruise last summer, we did the Stingray Encounter at Castaway Cay. (This pic is from our December '04 cruise) She LOVED the dolphins. It was really cool - I did it too - but she HATED the Stingrays! I thought they were really cool too. Yes, it was before the Steve Irwin tragedy, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat - they clip the stingers off - but they reminded me of swimming cats they way the kind of circle around your feet and rub up against your ankles. She couldn't get away from them fast enough, though, when the encounter was over.

OH - and those truck cojones. Yeah, seen 'em. NOT impressed. What the *bleep* are people thinking putting them on their vehicles!?!? The first time I saw them, I said, "What is that on that truck?? That looks like..... No WAY, it can't be." Of course the all-knowing teenager says, "Yes, mom, that's what you think it is." Of course you could hear the wind when my neck whipped around to look at her and inquire "And you know this HOW????"

What exactly is the statement they are trying to make, anyway?

(Pozey, you're male, can you enlighten us?)
I loved the dolphins in Cozumel:love: it was so awesome!!! I did the stingray swim in Grand Cayman and I'm w/Erin a little on that ... it creeped me out a little. They do swim around your legs a lot...I was so afraid I'd step on one... I enjoyed it a little bit and got back on the boat to take pix...yeah, that's why ;) That was back in 03'... It was awesome how they are all in one spot though...you see so many in the water...

3 people cat. 6 staying at Poly...$3300 on disney website:rolleyes1 all 7 nights included

I may be of the male persuasion, but that doesn’t mean I can answer the question of why people have such bad taste. I too have seen them and can only shake my head and ask the same question you guys have posted………”WHY?”

I don’t know if it is a macho thing or what. I know that I am secure enough in my own manhood that I do not feel the need for such a thing. I am also secure enough to admit to cooking, cleaning, and folding clothes.

You have NO idea...I'll fill you all in later
It was interesting to say the least!:rolleyes1

Lesa, what the heck is that???:confused3 And where do you find these things??
It is one of the strangest things I have come across!:lmao: You would be surprised at some of the crazy smilies I have come across!:scared1:

We had a nutty weekend, I'm just glad it's over!
Couldn't have said that better myself!

I now definitely need to purchase a new house.
You have always wanted a bigger house!;)

Actually, Aunt Lesa...Matt's birthday is the 11th:rolleyes:
O.k. fine, I was off by one day! Don't tell Matt his favorite aunt forgot!;)

Yes Pozey, please enlighten us! Women would never hang big hooters off their car!:lmao:

Y'all never guess what stupid thing I just did! I didn't pull far enough into the garage so when I closed the door I smashed the bumper of the van with the garage door.:rolleyes1 Now I have a nice dent in the garage door as well as my bumper.:sad2:

Ok, here goes....I have a story to tell and you had all better be sitting down!!

The Monday before our convention our 19 year old daughter comes to Blake and I and tells us she is pregnant...not only that she is due in 3 weeks:scared1:

To say we were shocked would be an understatement. The father is her ex-boyfriend and he is only 16!!

Doesn't this just keep getting better and better? She managed to hide it from almost everyone! Ask Lesa...we couldn't tell.. She was at school, work, friends or in her room..if she was in the living room she had a blanket over her lap...but we all do that, so it wasn't strange.

She tells us she is giving it up for adoption but at this point had seen no one...not even a doctor!!! I take her to my OB who delivered her, the next day. And she makes an appointment to see an adoption agency...her appt...the Friday I would be in WDW!! So my mom agrees to take her.

Thank God for our trip to WDW, the timing was perfect for me to get away and deal with all the stuff in my head!!

So Bree goes to the agency...I get a call later while sitting outside Imagination that the visit went well and Bree had tentatively picked a lovely couple. OK Great...it was like a huge weight was off my shoulders.

Got thru the weekend, fly home Tues night, Wed 7:15 AM I get a call from Zach's ( the father) mother. He told her literally 15 minutes earlier...we need to meet. Yes, they all come over that night. They look like we did the week before:eek: :sad1: We all agree adoption is the best thing. Call the agency get a meeting for the following Tues to meet the couple go over everything...Get thru the next few days...Blake has to fly to Memphis and has to miss the meeting:mad: Bree and I get there...Zach's parents and Zach are there...no couple. His parent's have decided they want the baby but they will go along with whatever Bree wants. I look like someone hit me in the face with a brick!!

We go home have long conversations...adoption is best for the baby...go back to new meeting...tell everyone that...make another meeting to meet the couple....2 days later meet the couple...darling people...come home feeling like they are a gift from God!!

It is now last Friday...David, Lesa, my sister Melissa and Lesa's girls all come home...we spend Friday night together, everything is fine...

Sat morning I come down at 9, Bree meets me and says she is in labor:eek: We get her to the hospital at 10:30, at 11 she is 4 cm, at 12 she is 7cm, at 12 she is 9cm, the doctor arrives about 12:20 and breaks her water...there is meconium! This baby has to come soon...at 12:40 she is complete and is told to start pushing there is a chance for a c-section...baby girl born at 12:55 Sat afternoon.

Briana did great, and baby is in great shape! Whole family comes...

All weekend Briana kept changing her mind...keep her, don't keep her....she knew what was best but she also knew she really wanted to keep her...Monday morning we were all there to say goodbye when Bree breaks down and says she can't do it....we are taking home a baby!!!

Blake runs out to get a car seat! ( Gets the wrong kind...we get her home and take it back later)

So we now have 7 lb 8 oz, 20 in Lillian Marie ( Lilly) living in our house which is completely unprepared!! We have been going crazy getting the things that a baby needs.

I am torn...the thought of saying goodbye to someone I saw be born, was heartbreaking, but...I am still so concerned about my baby's( Bree) future:sad1: I don't know what to think right now! Literally taking it minute by minute. I stayed at the hospital both nights and slept in Bree's room to help her so have had very little sleep. Crashed like the dead last night.

Please keep us all in your prayers...we may need them!!

Oh here she is...

Hopefully this all made sense....and to those who were on the trip....Thank you...you have no idea how much I needed that weekend....when can we go back? I need it again!!

Hi everyone!

Lyzziesmom, sorry about that jerk at work!!!! How obnoxious can you get.
Is the Wiggles tonight?? If so have a great time!!!

Amber, Glad Mike agreed to coming  I can't wait!!!

I have a tiny vent of my own!

Last night I found a reciept that said Jeremiah got a traffic violation on January 25th and paid it last week and never told me about it! I don't know why he would keep this from me :confused3 it was $182 for driving in the HOV lane. Honestly I am mad because he was deceitful not because of the ticket!! First he said it happened while I was in Florida at Disney so "I must have just ignored him when he told me" I was like nice try buddy, I left for Florida FEB 2. He was like "oh." :sad2:

He tried to make it so I wouldn't find out. Then this morning when I woke up I got a 'forwarded email' from Jan 25 that he says he wrote that morning but I never recieved it!!!! I went back checked my trash from that date and everything. So if this email really was sent- he thinks he could send it to me, and I would never reply or talk about this to him in person??!! It is just so annoying. I hate the feeling when you find out someone was keeping something from you. Ok, vent over.

Yolanda- I'm glad your teacher conference went well!! :yay:

Y'all never guess what stupid thing I just did! I didn't pull far enough into the garage so when I closed the door I smashed the bumper of the van with the garage door.:rolleyes1 Now I have a nice dent in the garage door as well as my bumper.:sad2:

Poor Lesa... how are you going to explain that to David??
