Morning, kids!

Thanks, Donna - that french toast recipe looks yummy!

Mwah-ha-ha! Actually hes dark Italian but not what I would consider attractive. Killer abs though! Holy Cow!

I have to go get ready for work and I don't want too!
Mmmmm.... killer abs.....

I have one group pic from 'Ohana, I believe. I can forward it to anybody that wants to see it!!!! I also have a pic of me, YM and 2x if anybody wants to see that too, and acouple of just Lyzziesmom & Emma.
I'd love to see a group pic of you guys!

I know! We moved to VA last summer (I'm from Las Vegas), and I discovered that my two soaps, Y&R and Days, conflict with each other here!! So I had to choose one....I chose Y&R. Now we got a newer version of Tivo and it has two tuners so I can record both again!! It was like I never stopped watching Days!! :teeth:
:ssst: :teeth: We watch AMC at work. Funny - when I interviewed for this position over 10 years ago, part of my "office orientation" part of the interview was an explanation that if you eat lunch in the office lunchroom, you will watch AMC. No option, that's just the way it is. Well, I can be frugal (so we can afford our WDW trip at least once a year) so I almost always eat in. I grew up NOT watching any kind of soap, and actually pretty much loathed them. Well, 10 years later we're STILL watching AMC!! (myself included....)

I am losing my mind here today....so far today I can't find my

1. wedding rings
2. iPod
3. debit card
and oh good grief I know there is something else I can't find but now I can't even remember what it is!:scared:
Michele, did you find your stuff???

:worship: All hail Your Majesty and King Pozey. :worship:

We had our pre-lenten Fat Tuesday pancake supper at our church last night!! MMMM.... good thing I came home after work and did a half hour on the bike before I went!

Have a great day, everybody! :wave2:

Speaking of coasters and Universal; I made my reservations for Royal Pacific last night. We stayed at Hard Rock Hotel last year and really liked it. Gary is spoiled with FOTL priviledges now.
On our last 2 vacations, we have gone for 10 days. We spent the first 8 at Disney, and then moved over to Universal. Both times we went to Universal, we stayed at the Hard Rock.

While we LOVE Disney World more than Universal, we still enjoy Universal quite a lot. And we think the Hard Rock is GREAT. Anyway......the one big thing Universal has that is out of this world is the unlimited FOTL priviledges for staying at one of their on-site hotels. Wow, that makes it well worth it. Plus, the pool at the Hard Rock is awsome.

Have I told you guys my "LIMO" story?

Exactly what I was looking for. I like the age charts. The charts at Hibbet's only gave height as a guideline. This way I can look at the #'s and take into account their age. The example you gave was on of the bats I was looking at. A 29" 20oz so this would be a fairly light bat for the length. We I plugged the numbers in it looks like DS could do a 22oz (max) but I think it will be a tad to heavy. I can't believe the amount of "stuff" they have for sports and the pressure to buy it!

Thanks King Pozey.....:worship: :rolleyes1 I might even check into the clinics you talked about. I think a "pitching" clinic would be fun. He will be in kid pitch and he's a lefty....but my goodness his arm is wild.
Since Chase won't begin kid pitch until next year, I think I will only enroll him in the hitting clinic. I might enroll him in the "skills" clinic as well, but he is such a good fielder, I may not.

And yes, even at such a very young age, the pressure to have the "best" (i.e. - most expensive) stuff is great. But at such a young age, the ability to get the most out of the "better" equipment is very minimal.

I haven't heard it. :listen:
It's not a "wild and wacky" kind of story.......it's more of a "hey, that's pretty cool" kind of story.

Anyway, this was our 2005 Disney World trip. We went to Disney and stayed at the Poly. We had a fabulous stay – even with the “luggage” incident. (Have I told you about the “luggage incident”?)

Well during this trip, we used Disney’s Magical Express to get from the airport to WDW, then used Happy Limo to get from the Poly to the Hard Rock. Well, we booked a van from Happy Limo. And it was a nice van.

Well, on our final day, our flight didn’t leave until about 5 p.m., so we swam a little that morning before going out to wait on our van. So, here we all are sitting outside of the Hard Rock when this HUGE H2 Hummer Limo pulls up. The driver gets out and holds up a sign “POZEY”. My DW looks at me and says “Is that for US?” Well, it sure looks like it. Seems the van had broken down and the Hummer Limo was the only option Happy Limo had to come pick us up.

Turns out, it was the largest Limo in all of Florida. They already had The Incredibles playing on the DVD for the kids and drinks chilled.

It was a highlight of our trip.

pozey: I don't believe we have heard your LIMO story. Do tell.

ETA: I see you just told it - very cool story!! I don't think we've heard the luggage incident either.

Ashley: I dreamed about you last night! You called me all upset because you broke up with Jeremiah, and you didn't know why you did it. You just kept saying, "He's so good to me, why would I do that?" Of course, I also dreamed that Simon from American Idol shaved my head and tattooed a face on the back... this is what happens when I don't take my Ambien.

I'm in a lot of pain today, I even briefly considered not going to work. Then I figured I'm not going to feel any better if I stay home, so I may as well not use up any PTO.

A quick hello to everyone!

Good morning, everyone!!! I't a little chillier out this morning than it was yesterday; looks to be about 30 out today. I found a new recipe for French Toast. It looks interesting....won't you all grab a plate and join me?

french-toast.jpg

I hope everyone has a Wild & Wacky Wednesday!!!! :teeth:

I guess I missed breakfast!:rotfl2:

ETA: I only get a red x when I see it in Donna's post.:rolleyes1 Thanks Donna, it looks really good! I have to put in another request for some tonga toast, soon!

I sometimes watch Days, but mainly I watch AMC, OLTL, and GH.

Speaking of Ipods, mine isn't working. I have the Shuffle and it won't turn on, and when I plug it into my computer to charge, the computer doesn't register the charger or anything. :sad2:

You know what, I have a shuffle too and NEVER use it! I need to start!

That is a cool story Pozey, I think you told us the luggage story- Ya'll forgot Courtney's luggage right?

Lyzziesmom- I hope they will now know what causes your back pain. Yesterday my upper back was hurting, maybe that was sympathy pain! I had an MRI a few years ago and they said I couldn't swallow!!! It was horrible! When I was younger I had MRI's yearly and they never had told me that.

I got roped into selling Mary Kay....again. Someone Steven and I know sells and asked me to sign up under her. I used to "sell" about 2 years ago but never really got into it. It just wasn't for me. I still bought stuff once a year because my mom uses alot of stuff from the line and wanted the discount. Well she asked me recently and I said yes. I told her, don't expect me to sell a ton of stuff and she understood. I just want to help her get her pink Cadillac!

Nicole: I have an aunt who used to have the pink Cadillac! She sold a TON of Mary Kay and had the parties all the time. I remember being about 13 and invited to one of her parties, I was so excited to get a makeover, how cool was that? I had no idea you had to do it yourself... very disappointing.

Hi everyone

It's been a few days since I have posted. It looks like everyone is doing pretty good. Ashley, I am glad Ruby is doing better. I would have been scared if I was in your shoes. Speaking of shoes...Thanks for the info. on the crocs Amber. I ordered a pair of the pink ones and got them for $17.99:cool1: I didn't really care for them at Disney but after hearing how comfortable they are I thought for $18.00 I would give them a try. Hmmm another cliquless convention, I wonder if April needs a traveling companion again.:lmao: Well, I hope you all have a great day.

I think I remember now; didn't you have to go buy all new clothes or have the luggage shipped to you?
Yep, that's it. Completely forgot Courtney's suitcase. In-laws shipped the entire suitcase overnight via UPS. Cost me $200. :sad1:

Yeah, I don't like that either. I want a makeover done on me, not me putting it on myself. I would feel more inclined to buy if someone was putting it on me!

We would invite you, even if April didn't!;) How is she by the way. I hope her new job is going good! Tell her we all say hello!

Good Morning....haven't found any of my stuff yet:sad2:

I was hoping I would dream about where I put it all:confused3

Pozey...love your Limo story... that must have been a pleasant surprise!

Donna...thanks for breakfast, I was thinking about making french toast this morning too!

Oh since Donna told you all that I am a font of useless trivia knowledge:rolleyes1 I will offer up some trivia to see what you guys know...I will try and do it once a day.

And no, you don't win anything:flower3:

At the conclusion of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Snow White kisses the Dwarfs before departing with the Prince. However, she does miss one of the Dwarfs. Which Dwarf does she miss??

Hey, Michele!! Enjoy your week off, staying up late and sleeping in!! You deserve it. I hope you find all of your lost items. You'll probably wake up refreshed and your memory will be restored!!

Speaking of Michele.....Did anyone from the convention ever report about the fact that Michele is the Disney Trivia Queen? The night we ate at LeCellier the host and hostess were giving our group Disney trivia questions. Michele knew every one of them; and they were NOT easy questions!! From then on in the trip if somebody wanted to know something about Disney we just asked Michele!!princess:

YourMajesty:: How are things going with you Queenie? I haven't had a chance to chat with you lately. I see you have a meeting this morning? This isn't one of your regular work days is it? Hopefully we'll get a chance to chat soon!!:thumbsup2

Hi, Ashley!!! How's it going little chickie?? Our cliqueless night owl....you stay up too late for me, honey!!!

Well, better run!!! Chat with you all later. :sunny:

Michele is a whole book of knowledge when it comes to Disney.
YIM-Geek.gif
I worked there for 3 years and don't know half the stuff she does. Actually on this trip she told me some interesting facts that I did not know......
Like did you know on the Haunted Mansion when your car turns backwards at that point your dead?.... She will have to give more of the details, she is a much better story teller than I am, but it was very interesting and explained the ride. She will also have to tell you about the pathway in the streets of Liberty square, and the shutters
YIM-Dream.gif
...........She helped make this trip so much more interesting for me! Together we both took the time to notice things we had never seen before, even after being in the parks and on the rides a million times. I will always take more time from now on to enjoy what I'm seeing instead of the rushing from ride to ride and place to place! :dance3:
