I don't know if anyone else has seen the Kleenex comercial, but it is just nasty! It had women blowing grown mens noses. The first one I saw the girl told one of the guys that he still had a booger:eek: and wiped it for him.:scared1:

:scared:

OK, I just got of the phone with Fedex. Apparently, the memory cards weren't delivered last week (even though the tracking info says they were). No one knows why they were scanned delivered. :confused3 The driver says that both packages will be delivered today. I'm hoping.

April – Those are some TERIFFIC Pirate & Princess t-shirts!! VERY COOL!! :thumbsup2

Donna – Thanks for the Tonga Toast. That really hits the spot on a day like today. It is very cold out and it is supposed to start snowing today. Well......make that HAS ALREADY STARTED SNOWING. Supposed to snow anywhere from 1 - 5 inches today.

You need this smiley to go right after you say that......

Ewwwww.

Amber, I hope your iPods get delivered - that's a lot of money to get lost! On your memory card delivery: what do their records show - that they left it at the door? Or did it get delivered somewhere that someone could sign for the package? They should have more specific info than just that it was delivered - that way it can be tracked.

Pozey - how'd the boys do last night?
Gotta love the weather my OK friends - more snow!!

Supposed to snow here today too. Of course, they've been saying that for days and nothing yet, so we'll see. This is a perfect time to go on vacation though!

Both the memory cards and ipods should be delivered today. The driver has both of them on his truck. The tracking info for the memory cards said it was delivered 01/25 at my address and left at the front door. Fedex said they would investigate. When I called this morning, I was told that the memory cards weren't actually delivered yet (and no one knows why the were marked as delivered).

They swam GREAT last night. Both of them won each event they were in. Colton won all of his events by pretty big margins. We have been working especially hard on his starts. And last night he did great. He was a full body length ahead of everyone before he took his first stroke.

Chase did great as well. He swam against some tougher competition than in previous meets. And he still won.

I'm so proud of them.

Gotta love the weather my OK friends - more snow!!

Yeah, I looked outside again. It's not snowing anymore, but the ground already has a pretty good dusting of snow on it.

Popping in to pop back out again.

Thanks for your input on our designs. :cutie:

I think the interview went well today and as a PLUS she put me in touch with the head of the Respiratory Therapy department! How cool is that? So, even if the job doesn't work out I'll now be able to have an in at the hospital for shadowing RT, asking questions, have a mentor.

We've got the cat dropped off. Now we're getting ready to run Tucker up to the kennel. I hate that stupid drive.

In other news, I'm just discovering that my new neighbor is a drum player. Talk about ANNOYING!!! It makes my dog bark his head off!! And drums are cool. . . . when there is other music but just constant drumming. :sad2:

So, I was able to get most of the packing done last night. Hopefully, I will be able to be in bed early tonight for our V-E-R-Y early departure tomorrow morning. Hopefully, we'll be right in front of the sleet and snow.

Talk to you all soon.

Congrats!! :cheer2:

April: Good luck getting to sleep early tonight!! Sounds like you're getting all your loose ends wrapped up nicely.

pozey: Congrats to the boys, that's great news! Is there anything they can't do?

Well I see the snow has finally arrived... just in time for me to go out for lunchtime! I'm just going home for leftover pasta and to watch last night's American Idol, nothing exciting but I'd really rather not go while it's snowing. At least it looks pretty.

Good morning, Crew!!! I just now checked the thermometer outside.... it's 10 degrees here!!!:cold: How about a little Tonga Toast to warm us up?? Yumm!!

I hope everyone has a Wonderful Wednesday!!!:sunny:

Donna, for some reason I thought that was a Salmon Steak!!!!

Lin, I wanted to see Children of Men but after reading some about it I thought it would be a bit too gory. The story sounded really interesting to me though!! And I agree about Clive Owen!

It is sort of gory, but not horror movie gory. The story is pretty good but the movie is a little slow and wierd. I know its a book so I may try to read it.

For those that don't know what its about, it takes place in 2028 and there hasn't been a baby born in the world since 2010 because everyone has slowly become infertile :confused3 The entire world has basically gone to hell except for Britain which still has some semblence of order so everyone is trying to get into Britain because its the only livable place on earth but of course the government won't let anyone in. Anyway, this rogue organization finds this pregnant girl in Haiti and is trying to get her into Britain so that they can get her to a boat to take her to what is called "the human project". Of course all goes wrong and Clive Owen gets dragged into the mess. Its very strange.

This will go down as the most expensive hair disaster ever!:sad2: Oh well, live and learn. I saw on the today show this morning that women almost always have a bad day if they are having a bad hair day! That explains why I'm always so cranky, it's the hair!:rolleyes1

Lesa, are they going to make you pay to get it fixed? :confused3 They shouldn't, they should just do it for you since she did such a bad job and bleached your hair without asking you if that was alright! I would talk to them about payment before they start on your hair. I've had a couple of bad cuts and each time I called to complain they had me come in and fixed it for free.

Anyone know if Law and Order:SVU was new last night? My DVR didn't record it and I could have sworn it was a new one!

Well, best get ready to retackle the study and then take Minnie to the vet.

Oh, I woke up to giant snow flurries this morning, but they disappeared in about an hour.

I just got an email from disneyshopping about 5.00 flat rate shipping today and tomorrow. The code is SHIPFIVE. Too bad Linda isn't here today!!!!

Lin: That sounds like a pretty good movie.

Well guys, all my problems just got a lot smaller. I was on my way back to work after lunch, and I passed the worst car accidents I have ever seen. There were at least 20 cars involved in a bunch of crashes and many cars in the ditch, I'm talking at least 4 solid blocks of wrecks. As I kept driving past, I kept thinking, it can't still be going on, this has got to be the end, but it just kept going. There were people lying down in the street, emergency crews everywhere, and the road is at a complete standstill. A coworker just said that a reporter on the radio called in the worst accident she's heard of in the city's history. I am so thankful not to have been involved in that mess, and I feel so bad for the people who are. It looks like it's going to be a very long time before they get this straightened out. It's on the highway just a few blocks down from my work, about a mile from my house.

ETA: I just read that it was 35 cars and 2 semis involved in the wreck. That's unheard of!

Wow. That's bad. At least you werent involved. Are you getting snow up there, then? Was it slick roads?

Yes to the snow, but it's not really slick. It's more of a dry, powdery snow. I did notice that it is a little slipperier than it appears, because it looks like no big deal but especially on the main roads, once it gets run over a bit and mixes with the wetter stuff is where it gets slippery. I think it's more of just people not slowing down and thinking they can still drive normally. There are wrecks all over town!!

Lyzziesmom, I'm so glad you weren't in the accident. That's a huge accident. Hopefully, everyone is ok.

Well, I just got off the phone with Fedex. Mike went home and only the ipods were there. The manager at Fedex (local center) called the driver and the driver said he only had one package. :sad2: The manager was mad because the driver lied this morning (saying he had both). The driver was not the one to deliver the memory cards last week. The manager spoke to that driver and he delivered it to the wrong house. He will be going tomorrow to try and retrieve the memory cards. If he can't get them then they will approve the claim and they will be replaced.

Confusing enough?
