Hey strangers wow it's been so crazy busy. Here at home and at work Sat. night was Mikes retirement/Christmas party w/his old co-workers. It was a great time but I didn't know I was going to have to go accept awards w/him in front of a few hundred people! It was very nice. They give them a very nice shadow box w/a flag and all their metals and ribbons. Kenny asked if they were like trophy's... yeah, I guess they kind of are..

I'll try to remember all I've read over the past few days...

Lyzziesmom... omg...your mom snooping..that would drive me crazy! I would definitely lock that paperwork up and not give her the combination! My mom bought me a locking filing cabinet when I was a teenager and never snooped. Then we started locking our Easter baskets in there so she wouldn't eat all our candy while we were at school
fit a whole cracker in my mouth...no way! I have a very small mouth believe it or not breakfast.. only on the weekends... and want for Christmas... hmmm A disney cruise I don't NEED anything either... I just like my Disney stuff spa certificates, gas cards...that stuff is always great Candles too! the dslr camera would be incredible

Dznyfan... your nephew coming home from Iraq Time to party! Has he been over before already? I'm so glad Mike retired, I would just worry myself to death! so glad he's coming home

2x..how have you been doing? Started the new treatments yet? Hope you see some good results soon!

I've got my Christmas cards addressed but now to write in the cards....

Mike went to the spinal surgeon today... that took forever. He said for now he's going to have him try physical therapy first and see how that goes. Then they'll see if they will want to do any fusing or not that just does NOT sound like fun!!!

Good luck with Emma's potty training! I can't even begin to think of all the different seat and stuff I bought trying to get Nathan to use the potty!

pozey::Nathan watched The Year Without a Santa Claus, he said it was pretty good. I didn't pay much attention to it, didn't hold my interest.

Have to go shopping soon for Cub Scouts. We are adopting a family. Our den has to buy pants and shirts for a 6 year old boy and shoes and a puzzle for a 2 year old girl.

Hmm...my Christmas List... We are getting a new digital camera from my in-laws and that was the main thing. I would also like a new tea pot, coffee grinder and Disney Dollars or gift cards...and the book The Thirteenth Tale, its supposed to be good.

Indiana Jones is my FAVORITE series and the box set has awesome bonus footage...my cell phone ring is even Indiana Jones...

I finished shopping for Chris today, got him a home Golden Tee game at Best Buy. He had seen it a couple of weeks ago and almost had a heart attack; so today I go in and the poor girl can't find them. It was funny because she had just set one down and it had apparently walked away. Well, after 30 minutes she finally had someone locate it and I was out the door. Now I just have his stocking.

Have you guys seen the new HD Pavillion Laptop commercial with Santa, no face, just his body? I SWEAR it is Tim Allen doing the voice...its making me crazy. I guess they could afford the voiceover but not the face? That or I am totally crazy.

Chris is at a Stars game tonight so I'm off to find something to eat for dinner. Check in later!

Hi everyone!!!

I'm wrapping up some more Christmas gifts tonight, and I'm going to watch House. Anybody here watch that show, too??

I got some good news from Jeremiah today- he might have to work some days down in the West Palm Beach office, so instead of staying down home for only 3 nights we might be staying a week!! Bad news for him actually cause he has to work but good news for me because I can just hang out with my family. We decided we are going to exchange our gifts on his birthday, which is the 20th. I was wondering out loud which presents to give him for his birthday and which for Christmas and he said why don't we just exchange them then, instead of when we get home. We always exchange them alone, not at the big family thing.

I got my Christmas cards tonight, FINALLY!! They will be going out probably Thursday or Friday. First time I've ever sent out Christmas cards to ANYBODY actually. Now that you guys are talking about it, I wish I thought of putting some type of picture in them. Oh well, next year I'll have some made!! I was considering getting Ruby's picture taken with Santa this weekend but by the time I get those copied it will be too late!!!

I'm having such an awful time with our Christmas pictures!! First, Gary says they're too dark,(which they were) then the different border I chose almost cuts our bodies off! I may redo them today.....I'm afraid the lady at Walmart is going to get a wee bit irritated with me. Oh well, she'll get over it!!!

I think my kids are about to the point that they are going to eat me out of house and home......

Last night, we made a tuna casserole and peas for dinner. As soon as we get home, Chase starts talking about how hungry he is. "I'm STARVING!!" So, he eats a cup of mandarin oranges. So.....we eat dinner. Usually when we make a cassarole, everyone eats some and we have a little bit left over. Well, last night......none left. Chase had 2 bowls FULL. Courtney ate all hers and then asked if she could have a cup of mandarin oranges.

And then this morning, they asked if we could stop at the Daylight Donut place for donuts. So we stop. I get Chase and Colton 3 plain glazed donuts each. Courtney wants one plain donut. I order 2 jalapeno sausage rolls for myself.

Colton asked if I would trade him 1 of my sausage rolls for 1 of his donuts. So we trade.

Chase then asked if he could try the sausage roll. I told him it was jalapeno and it might be hot. He wanted to try it anyway. He said it wasn’t very hot. So by the time I took Courtney into her daycare, Chase had eaten 2 donuts, the entire jalapeno sausage roll, and was starting on his 3rd donut. Colton was finished with his 2 donuts and his sausage roll.

So, I ended up eating 1 donut. Now, I'm starving.

Oh well........our department is going to Chili's for lunch today for our monthly birthday celebrations.

Donna: another delicious breakfast. I'll have my english muffin with butter and honey. If I don't steal one of pozey's donuts first.

Linda: the party sounds like it was nice. Kenny is too cute! (but you knew that already, didn't you?)

I finished my cards last night and then realized I only have 10, so not everyone will be getting the handmade cards. I think my mom used a bunch of mine, because we made them together at her house and I know each kit made 20, but lo and behold by the time mine made it home there were only 10. I just need to copy the pictures and put them in, and sign the cards. I don't usually write letters or anything, because well... I just don't. Everyone I send cards to pretty much knows what's going on with us. If we haven't talked to them in so long that they need a letter to know what we've been doing all year, then they don't get a card.

I think I'm catching Lyzzie's cold. Woke up with a killer sinus headache. Yuck.

I haven't started wrapping any of my gifts. I'd better get on it!! Santa's gifts need to be wrapped too. I usually buy a ton of wrapping paper every year, but this year I just haven't really seen any that I like. Last year I got a big value pack at Sam's but I didn't see the same thing again this year. I hope I have enough left over - I'd hate to run out or have to buy some last minute when only the ugly paper is left!

Better go pretend to get some work done. This job is so slow, I hope it picks up soon. At least they're paying me!

They just did a story about looking for two men that robbed a convenience store and stole the ATM machine from inside..."It is believed the men escaped in a dark colored SUV".

Right after that this is the story. Police are wondering why an SUV crashed into a home. The SUV contained an ATM in the back. Police are wondering where the ATM originated.

I KID YOU NOT!!!!!!!!!!! I'm dying here!!

Good morning all! Thanks for the English Muffins Donna I haven't had those in the longest time, mmmmm....nooks and crannies filled with butter!!

My Christmas cards are sitting in the mailbox, I don't have Yolandas address though so pm that to me and I'll get yours in too! It's a picture of Connor and Ben on the pooh ride while we were at WDW. This is the first time in a few years I've actually sent out Christmas cards!

Pozey--Connor is exactly like that. He is starving when he gets home from school and seems like he's never quite full. Can't wait until he and Ben are both older, ugh we'll be broke. But at that age when you do the DDP it's Disney who's going to lose money!!

Wow YM your kids will be so excited about the PSP's! We are contemplating getting Connor a Nintendo DS to replace his 4 year old game boy, I just know Ben will break out in tears since he thinks he's really the same age as Connor. He see a commercial for a DS and says he wants one (let's get #2 in the potty then we'll talk!).

That's what I was thinking. And hoping as well. He isn't nearly as tall as Colton was at his age. But then, Colton is pushing 5 foot 3 at the moment.....and he won't turn 11 until April.
