Oh, I was also thinking... Didn't someone try for a later ADR at LeCellier? If not, I could take care of that whenever I call for the other ADRs. After thinking about it, I'd really prefer later since Epcot has evening EMH on Friday.

That was me and I'm going to call right now to see what I have...feel free to try for one...you never know what might have opened...but I think mine is really late...like 8:50? I will check it out and chime my thoughts for the other times... I would say kona late (unless Linda could do a 9ish) I would lean toward a later park fare...but that one doesn't matter as much. I would think best bet for a park that day would be early entry at Epcot...but I'm not sure If I will be able to get up....then followed by a late breakfast?

I agree that the US needs better time off laws. Canada and England get a YEAR off for maternity leave!! My company doesn't give any (you have to use vacation or not be paid )

See, that's what I'm talking about. I just think that's sad. And you're right about Canada and England and there are a few other countries that give you a YEAR off as well but I can't think of them off the top of my head, I'm thinking France. Some of the things that Take Back Your Time is lobbying/working for is:

• Paid childbirth leave for all parents.

• At least one week paid sick leave for all workers.

• At least three week paid annual vacation leave for all workers.

• A limit on the amount of compulsory overtime work.

• Make election day a holiday.

• Make it easier for Americans to choose part time work.

April: It really IS a small world after all!! That's great that you have family so close, I think I remember you being worried about not knowing anyone. Add me to the list of people who agree that we don't get enough time off. My philosophy is, if employers are good to their employees, the employees will be more productive. Treat them like worker bees and they will just get stung.

I know. It's like a soap opera. You know how a new person comes into town and no one knows them and then after awhile they end up being so and so's long lost son that was adopted when he was born and the person didn't even know they were pregnant but *gasp* they've returned. OK, so it's not like that but I just thought it was wild.

If it helps, I will have a car on the trip if I can make it because I will be flying in and out of Sanford. No Magical Express there. But, my flight leaves pretty early on Tuesday so I probably can't do breakfast anyway. Not unless it was at like 8:00am or so.

I'm kicking myself for not buying my airfare when it was soooo low. Now it's $79 down and $79 back. Now I know this may seem like a good fare but it's really hard to swallow when I know I've flown roundtrip for $60.

I'm just trying to figure out if I can swing this. I can get the room for like $445.00 w/ my annual pass discount. Man, it's hard paying for a room when you always stay DVC but I don't want to be seperated from you all. I just wish that airfare would go down again! I'm kicking myself on this one!

I will wait until I hear from a few more of you on breakfast times. I don't think I'll want to get up for EMH at Epcot on Tuesday either. That's why I was thinking an earlyish breakfast - but not THAT early! - followed by some park time for those of us not leaving right away. I think I have to catch the ME bus around 2pm, so for me at least, if breakfast lasts until any later than 11:30, the day is pretty much shot. I'm just thinking out loud here, like April!

Last year I flew for a lot less in the spring than I did in the fall, and it was so hard to pay that extra money. Not to mention that last year, Emma flew free because she was still under 2. I may not be returning for a while after this. What airline do you fly? Sometimes Southwest will have their Dings really close to the date of travel, to fill up unpurchased seats. Just keep your eye on the flights and I have my fingers crossed for you!!

I was thinking about just staying DVC but I think I'd be lonely off at another resort all by myself. I don't know. I fly on Allegiant Air. I love Southwest and I have like $300 in credits through them but Southwest doesn't fly anywhere close to here. Raleigh/Durahm which is like 5 hours away and then Nashville which is like 5 hours the other way away. We have Spirit that flys out of Atlanta but their fares are definately not better than Allegiant and Spirit is a little over two hours away. But flying Spirit would get me into MCO and Magical Express but I just don't think it would be worth me flying them just for Magical Express. Especially if I were at a different resort I'd really need the rental car to meet up with you all.
I don't know. I think it would be difficult being seperated from the group. Steven and I did this once when we went w/ friends. We were at AKL and they were at WL and we always felt like we were trying to catch up and sometimes we just plain felt left out. It was hard being at two different resorts. ---Just thinking out loud again---

Hey all, I have today off and am going out with a friend in a little bit for some shopping.

I got a suit jacket yesterday to wear for my Disney interview! Its at 10:00 next Thursday morning and I am so nervous and excited. Only problem is that I am not interviewing for a position since there isn't an opening that has been posted. But, I'm hoping that this opens some major doors. I just realized that that interview is in exactly a week.... scary!

April, I am going to check out that website. My company has pretty good time off. We get 3 personal days, 6 sick days and 6 company holidays plus vacation. But, I'm a little mad at them because ALL of our benefits info states vacation time is based on Years of Service but they are telling me and the other ASM at my store that it is years of service from date of promotion. This is not what we were told...we both have more than 5 years with TDS and therefore should get 15 days vacation...they are telling us we get 10. Only other thing is there is no rollover. With Disney it would rollover for 2 years, with TCP, none, you lose it on February 1st. But, I get a lot more than a lot of people so there isn't much to complain about.

2x, I have the Snow White puzzle like that and Chris and I gave up! It is so hard! Pieces fit together that shouldn't and are solid colors so you can't tell they are wrong!

You have got to share the Disney interview news. What would you like to do there? How did you apply? What made you want to apply? Where would you look to live? This is just too exciting!! I would love, love, love to work for Disney at least I think I would! I'm sorry if I'm so nosey but really, I would love to work there.

This is so exciting! How long are you staying in Orlando when you go to interview? Will you get into any of the parks? Do you go to that cool casting building by downtown? Feel free to PM me if you want.

I have got to share with you guys!!!

I just got off the phone with my cousin (she's actually my second cousin, my mom's first cousin anyway) I sent out we've moved cards and so I sent one to her and her twin sister and she called me tonight, I just got off the phone with her and guess what??????


I have two cousins w/in 20 minutes of me in two different directions!!! I am just amazed and think this is soooooo cool!!! She called me and was like, I can't believe you went down there too and you all are so close! She was like, "How do three people from the same family end up in the same place??"

I don't know but I'm just thinking this is soooo coool!!

Can you believe it? Can you tell how excited I am????

OK, here's the family history (which would explain why I didn't know about my cousins' whereabouts).

These are my mom's firt cousins. So, I know them but it's not like we were super close. When I was in my teens I've babysat for both of them. Well, I got older and moved away from the hometown (but I was still living in N.J.) but then I met my husband and we were living in Delaware. So, occasionally we'd see everyone at weddings and funerals. You know how it goes. Well, I know my one cousin moved to Ohio because he was a preacher. As far as I knew my other cousin still lived w/ his wife in N.J.

Well, come to find out my cousin Kelly (he's a guy, the preacher) moved to Anderson which is like 20-30 minutes from here and has a church there. And my other cousin Steven moved to Westminster which is about 20-25 minutes the other way from here. Steven and I are right in the middle. My cousin, who called tonight, said if she had gotten our "Just moved" card she would have made sure she stopped in to see us when she was just down here visiting her brother and my other cousin (who is her first cousin and closer to her in age)!!

I guess my cousin called her yesterday to get our address (she didn't have it with her) because he was going to come look for us.

Isn't this just amazing??? I have FAMILY here!!! I am just in shock!! How cool is that? I mean really, what are the chances that all three of us would find our way down here to the same area?? I just think this is soo cool.

OK, I think you all get it. I'll stop now.

Tomorrow is Jeremiah's first day back to work since we've been home. It's kind of scary because his company just filed Chapter 11 last week. They are saying they want to stay in business but I'm really worried. He's going to get on the ball with his resumes but just keep us in your prayers that he keeps his job or finds a better one, will ya?

April, I'm going to check out that site. I don't have it too bad here. I get two weeks vacation (we have to take at least one week consecutive, but can use the other week as see fit) and up to 5 days can roll over. I get 5 sick days (can be rolled over until we have 60) and then 1 personal day (have to use). I also get all holidays off (I work at a bank). Mike though only gets 2 weeks vacation and nothing else.


I just called the vet. Leary is doing fine. He has some sort of dermatitis and so basically his hair fell out (he didn't scratch his head or anything). I didn't get a full report because I was talking to the receptionist.

Ok...I called. It is an 8:50 for 11 (including Donna and one other...maybe April? if she can come). I would say let's just hang onto our different reservations until it gets a little closer. Donna can let us know if she's want to try to make the late LeCellier dinner or if we need to do the early one??? I get in 12:20pm so I should be able to make the 4:10... LeCellier right?

Ok...so early entry to Epcot is not a first choice for Tues(after the P&P party)...I couldn't think of any other park I might like to go back too other than Epcot? Maybe we could do DTD...so I don't really care when we eat at Park Fare...anyone?

Well I finally decided to quit waffling and just go buy a digital camera. Wouldn't you know it, the Target I went to at lunchtime didn't have the one I'd decided on!! So I went to Circuit City, because I had gotten an email about a sale they are having. Surprise! It's only on sale ONLINE, not actually AT the store. So... still no new camera. I think I will buy it online, there is a place that has it for about $100 less than any "real" store but I'm a little leary because I have never heard of it before. It has good ratings though, and I've always had pretty good luck buying online.

Then on my way back to work, some jerk almost sideswiped me in the Wendy's parking lot so I gave up & just came back to work with no camera AND no food. Oh well, I guess I was not meant to spend money today!

I have been bringing Chase’s iPod to work with me so that I can listen to music and drown out the noise the printer makes. The printer that is 5 feet away from me is terribly noisy. Plus, it is a fax machine and gets used a LOT.

But I am usually pretty easy going, so I’ll adjust. Hakuna Matata…………

Colton says “I have to tell you something.” Now……you remember me telling you just before Christmas Colton found out the girl he had a crush on had a boyfriend……… Colton said that he and some friends were talking and the “boyfriend” came up and started talking to them. He told Colton that he and Kayla broke up. He told Colton that “if he ever goes out with Kayla, don’t call her friend a retard”. Well, the first thing I told Colton and Chase is that if they ever, EVER call someone a name like that, they are in BIG trouble.

Apparently the boy Kayla was “dating” called one of Kayla’s friends a name and she broke up with him.

So………will Colton make his move today???

If you are interested, you should be able to see the International Space Station in the skies over Tulsa tonight. Starting at about 6:13 p.m., look in the sky toward the northwest. The International Space Station should look like a very fast moving star going from the northwest to the southeast. If you have a telescope, I would imagine you would get a pretty good view.
