Whew, I said I wasn't going to try to catch up buy I lied! I like to see what everyone has been up too! I got to the top of 580 and I must go to bed. I have to pick up my sister and her new husband up at my parents and take them to the airport so they can catch their flight back to Minneapolis. And before anyone asks, no they did not spend their honeymoon at my parents (can you imagine!) they went to Vegas but get in tonight about, well, nowish and fly home tomorrow.

Night everyone!!!!! Hope to chat tomorrow!!!

Good morning, Crew!! Whew!!! This seemed like rather a short night!!! I wasn't quite ready to get up this morning!! I need some major motvation to get myself going. How about some Tonga Toast?? I'll race you to the Poly!!!

I hope everyone has a Walt Disney World Wednesday!!!:tinker:

Good Morning Everyone!

Lin, glad you are back!

Angela, I have a Kodak z740 and it's great. You should really like yours. I think Kodaks are the easiest to use.

April, love the report/pictures. You got to meet Jiminy!!

I just ordered a new camera (pentax k100d) I am so excited. It's an early anniversary present (I wanted to get comfortable using it before our trip). I can't wait to get it. I have promised Mike that this is the last camera I will ask for though.

Talk to every later. Have a great day!!

Lin: Welcome back, good to see you again, girlie!! Whew, you have done wore me out, you are one busy chica!! Do you at least get to get a little rest now?

Amber: Glad to hear you like your Kodak! z740... that sounds familiar, that might actually be the one I was looking at. After a while they all start to look the same. You take gorgeous pictures with yours, I think I'm definitely going to have to get one before the trip! Like you said, to get used to it first. Good luck with getting your new camera, I hope you like it!! Is that one of the more "professional" type ones? I really need to take some photography classes, I always have these great ideas and then have no idea how to get the camera to cooperate.

Donna: "Walt Disney World Wednesday"... I love it! You guys have all been so clever lately. I was reading yesterday about Tonga Toast and I actually don't think I'm going to like it at all. Luckily for me, Kona also has what sound like very yummy pancakes.

Well I watched that "Dirt" show last night on FX. Did anyone else see it? I didn't really like it at first, it seemed like they were trying too hard to be edgy, but by the end it got more into the story and got pretty good. I think I might continue to watch - it is definitely something different.

Got to work this morning and a visitor was right behind me waiting for me to open the front doors! The poor guy (a cutie too, wouldn't you know it I'm having the mother of all bad hair days) is still waiting for the people he's supposed to meet with. I feel bad but they are not answering their phones or emails; what else can I do??

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Lin- Wow, you sure were busy!

Angela and April- I like the pics!

I like the itinerary for the convention.

I think I need to get new glasses and contacts. :faint: Everything is blurry.

I learned how to make roses last night in my cake decorating class. I was so proud of my cake that I didn't want to cut into it! I'll have to post a pic of it soon.

Have a great day everyone!

lyzziesmom, thank you for the compliment! My Kodak is great, but the only thing I don't like is it doesn't have image stability. The Kodak z612 is an upgrade to the z740. It has image stability and a higher optical zoom (mine has 10x this one has 12x).

Here is the camera I got
E94C82EAAC694671A1D0810EC8C85D02.jpg
It is a DSLR (one of the "professional" type cameras). I haven't taken a photography class, but am looking into it. I do have books and I read a ton on the photography board.

I didn't see Dirt. Mike played video games and I went to sleep. Maybe I'll catch it on rerun.

Thanks Donna!

Amber...how nice to get a new camera. From your comment I guess you have more than one?

lyzziesmom...what channel is Dirt on? I guess you could get your guest some coffee or something.:surfweb: Is he there early? Sounds like he's at the Dr.'s office.

I need to join the converstion of wanting/needing a new camera. First of all mine almost 4 years old and second there is something wrong with the pictures. I think it's the flash or something?

Good Morning Everyone.

I'm working on another resume for Steven this morning. Lord, help my back.

Well I watched that "Dirt" show last night on FX. Did anyone else see it? I didn't really like it at first, it seemed like they were trying too hard to be edgy, but by the end it got more into the story and got pretty good. I think I might continue to watch - it is definitely something different.
I saw the show. At first I was like you. I didn't think I was going to like it. I couldn't believe some of the things they were showing on t.v. :scared1: I looked at Steven and said, "This is soft core porn!!" :scared: But, by the end of the show I liked it. Once they got into the story. I felt so bad when the cat died. :sad1: I hated it more that they showed it. Made me so sad. :sad1:

I like my camera. :) I know it can do much more than I know but I'm learning. Some smart-alec guy said to me the other day "I don't think you know what you've got there."

YM:: Dirt is on FX. It was hard to see one of the actresses, Julia, do some of the things she did. She used to be Lilly on The 4400 and she was so sweet and mild. She seems sweet on this show too but did some very risque parts.

Talk to you all later.

My birthday is January 2nd. It was always nearly forgotten when I was a child. With all the excitement of Christmas and New Year's and everything, everyone would always go......"Oh. We forgot your birthday."

Pozey.....:sad1: I had in my old brain that I would remember! Darn it! Hope you accept yet another LATE HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Did you have a nice day?

Happy belated birthday Pozey!!! I knew that it was sometime this week but wasn't sure. I'm sorry. :bday: :cake: I hope you had a nice day.

I'm a lightweight drinker now too, I can have a glass or 2 of wine and I'm feeling fine (poet:rotfl2: ) and be ready for bed but more than that and I get a headache the next morning. I don't know why that is now, because back in the day that would've been nothing. I guess it's because a) I'm old now b) I'm old now and c) I'm out of practice.....and oh yeah I'M OLD NOW!! The funny thing is I remember being 21 out on Saturday night and there would be 30 year olds out and I'd think ewww so old!:rotfl: Now at 35 I realize that ain't so old!!
35 is DEFINITELY NOT old. Age is just a number.

Alright Darin being a sweet husband got me a belated Christmas Gift today a new digital camera since some of you may remember my other one died at Disney. It's also a Koday Easy Share but it's a Z...something and you can do short videos on it and it takes great pictures. Anyway I stuck my other memory card in and got my pictures off of it from our Thanksgiving trip so here are some of those pictures!! I am confident that my new camera will take better pictures!! :)
Great pictures!!

Oh no pozey, we ALL forgot your birthday!! (Thanks for the reminder YM.) I speak for all of the Cliqueless Chicas when I say we are SOOOOO sorry!

Hope you had a happy one anyway.

Hey Dznyfan....convention'ears'....isn't that clever! How nice to have so many Disney trips in the works. I think we "might" be planning a Hawaii trip this fall so DH will never go for a Disney trip anytime soon. I'm so glad I get to take this short trip in Feb.

Hope you get to bed early...or at least a little nap. I did get one tiny nap today.:cloud9:

We always have at least one trip in the works.

April and Angela - I loved seeing your pictures!

Pozey - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Donna, thanks for breakfast!

Linda - Kenny's note from Santa seems kind of weird, IMO - some people just don't 'get it', do they?? And the gifts were at his stepmoms??? odd. :confused3

Pozey - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Thank you all for the Birthday Wishes.

As it usually does, my birthday was forgotten by most. DW was off work yesterday, so she did not wake up while me and the boys woke up and left. DW called and wished me happy birthday later in the day. She went shopping and bought me a couple of shirts and a pepper mill.

There was only 1 person in my entire office that remembered……and that was my FORMER boss. She sent me an e-mail wishing me a Happy Birthday. Normally, a few people in our department puts streamers and balloons in the cube of someone having a birthday, but I guess they forgot.

A girl that I used to work with at a different company e-mailed me and wished me happy birthday.

And the 13 year old daughter of one of my good friends called and wished me a happy birthday. I think she has a crush on me…

When the boys and I got home, DW must have reminded them when they went in the house. By the time I got inside, DW had put a couple of candles on a chocolate chip cookie and they sang to me. Courtney was asleep on the couch.

awww Pozey!!! Happy belated Birthday!! So sorry Courtney was asleep on the couch and you didn't get to celebrate much:guilty: :grouphug:

party: :cake: :bday: :bday: :cake: party:

Maybe this weekend you can do something special??

Dznyfan...you are so right. some people do not "get it"! I try not to come on here and gripe all the time about every little thing , its just a downer!! I try to do the best I can for Kenny and what I have control over....Kenny is a smart kid, he'll make his own decisions when he's old enough. Just like I did w/my dad ;)

We are leaving 4 weeks from today:banana: :cheer2:  I can NOT WAIT!!

YM...were you able to snag a later Le Celler adr? :woohoo: that would be so awesome!! if so, let me know and so I can cancel the one we have... That would be so great!!!

Lin...great to see you back:hug:

great pix too!!!

Well, I moved into my new cube this morning. It’s terrible. I sit less than 5 feet away from the printer/fax/copy machine that the entire department of more than 25 people use. The noise that comes from the machine is horrible.

35 is DEFINITELY NOT old. Age is just a number.

I know, I know:goodvibes My mom said something to me a few month ago that you still feel like you're the same person inside even as the outside gets older and looks different. That makes me a bit sad because people tend to treat you differently because you look old. Didn't mean to depress anyone!:rotfl:

We are leaving 4 weeks from today:banana: :cheer2:  I can NOT WAIT!!

What will be do here on the cliqueless thread without you conventionears?! Who's taking their laptop to give us updates??:confused3 :rotfl:

That just stinks! Hopefully you're stint in that cube is a short one.:grouphug: And :bday:

Welcome back Lin! Get some rest!!:cloud9:

You guys are killing me with your Disney planning!!! pirate:

Colton and I are really working DW hard about the decision to buy a Corvette or buy DVC.

Colton probably has more of a Disney addiction that Chase does. Chase loves fast cars.

Speaking of differences...........Colton and Chase are really total opposites in certain respects. I noticed something this morning. Today was their first day back to school after Christmas break. Colton LOVES school. Chase HATES it. When I dropped them off at the Boys and Girls Club this morning, Chase looked very depressed and teary-eyed. I asked him what was wrong, and he said he didn't want to go back to school.
