I like your method! Unfortunately, it won't work for me - Lyzzie just doesn't take instruction as well as a hubby would. Actually, scratch that... she's probably better.

Before I go I forgot to tell you all about my dream I had last night. I didn't dream we were all in Disney. We were all jumping out of planes.

Did we at least have parachutes? Trampolines? Something??

Donna, they had them at Pop so I imagine they would have them at PO. We just called the front desk when we were ready and they told us to leave the luggage in the room and they would send someone for it. So, take that extra suitcase!!!

That would have been extremely helpful to know when I stayed at POP for 10 days! Lugging the baggage back from the 80's building was NOT fun.

Oh...I know these are not as yummy as the chocolate stuff but I picked up a bag of cherry twizzler bites...just gotta have some cherry licorice for travel!

I love the regular Twizzlers but I'm not fond of the bites. It's a texture thing - they are chewier or something. I know I know, this is just one of my many many weird food issues.

Let's enjoy a beignet from the food court, maybe some hot cocoa, too!!! Then let's head to the parks!!!!

So THAT'S a beignet! Looks delicious, I'll have two. And I'll thake the cocoa if you please.

I just printed out my boarding pass!

I need everyone to send some serious pixie dust this way. Brittany is home sick this morning and Madison was sick over the weekend. I don't want to be next! That wouldn't make for a fun trip! They both started out with sore throats and a headache. I'm sucking on the zinc like it's candy!

I printed my boarding pass this morning too - A Group!! Even though I pre-board with Emma, I always try to get the A group, just in case. Oh no, sickies in the house!! Your DH will have a fun time while you're gone, won't he?? Pixie dust for you.

Amber: That is so screwed up about your memory cards!! Glad to see they will send you new ones - just hope they bring 'em to the right house. I did not watch AI last night. My haircut took 1.5 hours!! I did record it though, so I will probably get around to watching it next week.

p.s. does anyone know if POFQ has an iron in the room??? That would save me some time here.

I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure they have irons. I think POP had them, so I would assume POFQ would too. I wouldn't know though... I don't iron at home, let alone on vacation! I figure it's gonna wrinkle in the first 10 minutes of wearing it anyway.

Sherri: Thanks for the update on April! Nice to see you here again, BTW. I sure hope that storm doesn't affect your flight and you make it to WDW safe and sound, and on time!

I ended up calling in sick today. I hated to do that with me leaving town, but I think the treatment got the better of me today. I will rest, I promise. At least I'll be here at home to get some things done in between icky waves.

Good call on staying home sick. You don't want to run yourself ragged the day before vacation (like I do). I had to make a deal with my mom today: I will run to the store for her during my lunch hour if she will bathe Emma for me. One less time-consuming thing I need to do. I also left her strict instructions NOT to let the girl nap! I want her to go to bed very early tonight!

I decided I will be giving Lyzzie her MixStick mp3 player tonight. I figure it's the least I can do, since she's not going on the trip. She's been so great about understanding that she needs to stay in school, and this isn't really a "kids" trip, and she even helps Emma to get excited about it. I wanted to do something special for her.

Sorry, I was too tired to go into detail. I told my dh this morning I probally worried everyone! Instead of meeting at Disney, we were all jumping out of our planes (with parachutes ) and meeting each on the way down. Odd I know!

An update on the memory cards: The Fedex driver went to the neighbors house yesterday and left a note (no one was home). It said that the package was mine and to please return it. They didn't. They ignored the kncoking on the door later (their truck was in the driveway). So, they pretty much stole the package. My mom knows the woman (works with her) so my mom is going to ask her about it. Hopefully, my mom can shame the woman into returning it. Such drama.

Did anyone watch AI last night? The older man that came on had me sobbing (I'm a crier anyway). I felt so bad for him.

A speedy check in because I had a not-so-good afternoon/evening yesterday after my treatment and now I am in panic mode. I really counted on getting alot more done. I have to work this afternoon/tonight so I am now counting down the hours of completing my tasks. I have resorted to a priority list.

My sister April just called me from Pop. They made it there about 3:00 this morning. It's a good thing they left last night because the roads in their county was shut down sometime this morning.

Please send P&P dust my way today. We are getting our first "real" snow storm of the year and if you don't know what that is like back east it's not a pretty sight. Roads shut down at the first sight of a flurry, so I'm pretty concerned about my flight tonight. So here's to hoping I can get out of here and meet you all tomorrow.

Echinacia pills help too! I started getting a sore throat right before I left last month and I popped those pills like candy and didn't get sick!

2x- I know for a fact that have an iron at FQ, I had to use it everynight in Sept because I'm not a very good packer. (thumb) I think I use the "stuff it in the suitcase and worry about it later" method!


I'm in a panic because last night on Oprah (I'm an avid Oprah watcher- this is what happens to me when I stay at home all the time, I watch all those daytime shows) they had a man talking about a plane crash (which he fortunately survived but not everyone did.) I'll be saying my prayers for myself (and everyone else) tomorrow!!!


I'm exhausted right now but I can't take a nap because I have to get up eaaarly tomorrow! and I want to go to bed early tonight too.

Oh, and I'm lucky because Jeremiah packed my suitcase last night and did some laundry. (thumb) What a sweetie pie!! So this time my stuff wont be nearly as wrinkled.

OH and I think I'm going to the P&P party. But I'm nervous about the characters!!! You guys are going to have to watch out for behind me because I've had characters sneak up behind me and touch me and I don't feel like fainting on Monday. What I have heard is that the characters are not really wandering around and there is generally long lines to see them, so you should be fine. When my brother was little, he was in his stroller as we were (I think) waiting to buy our tickets at the TTC or Epcot, I forget exactly where. Anyway, Tigger leaned over the back of the stroller and stuck his thumbs in his ears (Tigger stuck his thumbs in his OWN ears, I should say) and waggled his fingers. Keep in mind this was in the 80's, when Tigger was really bright neon orange. My brother screamed so hard, it scared the you-know-what out of him! When I re-told that story last year, my brother said, "So THAT'S why I don't like Tigger!"

Emma was terrified of Alice last fall at breakfast - wouldn't even look at her and tried to hide every time she got close. So then all the characters kind of kept their distance, and Emma was so upset that Pooh didn't say hi to her.
