Angela, I got all excited when I saw your picture, until I saw it was a Dole whip. Am I the only person who doesn't care for these? However, I can eat Citrus Swirls by the gallon. I've even tried to make them at home, with disastrous results. I know that sticky contacts feeling well, I can't stand it! I carry eye drops with me everywhere, even though I wear the daily disposable contacts. Bambi... deer meat... bad taste... you're cracking me up here!! Goodnight!

2x, the Spelling Nazi is not that easily defeated!! Your afternoon sounds like it was lovely.

Count me in the ranks of the ex-smokers who used to weigh less. I've briefly considered taking it up again just for the weight loss, but thankfully sanity returned quickly.

Good night, Angela

Good night, 2x2s

Good night, lyzziesmom

See you in the morning!! :sunny:

That reminds me a friend of ours is a hunter (like my dh) and he went hunting yesterday for deer and got one. Well they suggested we come over soon and we'll have some deer meat and we'd bring the kids to play. I suggested maybe the kids could watch Bambi 2 while we eat is that in bad taste? :rotfl2: :lmao: I'm tired and my contacts are sticking to my dry eyes! Night all!

If you can't say something nice... don't say nothing at all.

Goodnight, for real this time!! :)

Very cute Angela, I hope to sleep that well! Although not necessarily in that position ;).

It just occurred to me: is anyone keeping a list of who has actually booked for the Great Cliqueless Convention of February 2007? I have this vague idea in my head of who I will hang around with, but since I don't take notes around here I really don't know. Oh Donna, miss Keeper of the Sacred Itineraries? Linda, miss Maker of the All-Important ADR's? 2x, miss Snatcher of the Hot Pirate Booty? pirate:

Perhaps I should work on some personalized tshirts. :rotfl2:

Good Morning All!

I still need to catch up, but Linda I love the pictures. I'm glad someone elses house looks like mine.

Today is Mike's birthday (he's 28).

We had a busy weekend. We went to visit our friends and then I attempted to pack. That didn't happen, so I will be packing tonight. I can't believe we are leaving on Wednesday! :Pinkbounc

I'm going to go back and catch up.

I haven't yet had the time to go read all of this past weekend's happenings around here yet.

But I did want to tell everyone a Good Morning.

Also wanted to ask my fellow Oklahomans here in the cliqueless clique if they went downtown Saturday night to watch the Centenial Fireworks/laser/light show? Anybody else go? It was fantastic!! What a great show they put on.

I'll elaborate more later......now I need to go back about 10 - 12 pages to see what you ladies were up to over the weekend! :thumbsup2

Good morning everyone!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

I had a lot of catching up to do! Busy weekend! My DS had a karate graduation on Saturday. I did get some scrapbooking done. I'm way behind for me, I'm just now doing our 2005 Disney trip :teeth: My mom was sick this last year with cancer and so for a while every spare moment was spent with her and helping my dad. She's better now soooo.. more spare time. Sunday we had church and then we had a work day at our new church building. Spent the day putting together shelves and unpacking stuff. We were all dirty and tired when we finally got home. Sorry I missed all the fun here!

In response to the cookies-- I make a batch of sugar roll out cookies with a recipe that my MIL gave me. I makes around 100 cookies with that batch alone and they are the best roll out cookies I have ever tasted. I also like to make peanut butter blossoms, pepermint cookies, bisotti, pumpkin cookies, and whatever else I have time and the urge to bake. I think a recipe exchange is a nice idea if anyone is interested.

Lizziesmom- Sound like you have a great mom! I hope this treatment helps you. It's no fun to be uncomfortable and in pain.

2x- I hope you can start your treatments soon and I hope they help!

Nicole-- Cake decorating classes sound like a lot of fun!

Angela- :wizard: Here's some good wishes for your trip!

Well, gotta go feed the kid and get him to school. Have a great day all! :sunny:

Hi all! I'm getting ready for my first day at the new job and boy oh boy am I a nervous wreck!! Thank goodness it's a short week! Emma wants to type a message, so here goes:

I think it means hello and have a great day! Amber, it's getting close. Get packing, girl!!

Hey, I have great 'parent' news myself - Oklahoma's All-State jazz solo audition/competition was on Tuesday. 650 HS students participated, from all over the state. Although Erin did not 'make it' in the ensemble (the top 6 kids), she placed at #15 - out of 650. of the six that made the ensemble, three were from her HS, two guys and one girl.
Way to go Erin!! That is outstanding!! :thumbsup2

A really quick good morning to my cliqueless kiddos! I'm only working 2 days this week and have to complete my accounting month-end (usually a 3 - 4 day process) in these two days. I'll be popping in and out here today, but flying low on the radar.

Pozey, we did not go downtown.
Morning to everyone! :wave2:

DznyFan said:
Hey, Pozey!: hope you see this before Monday - if your boys' elementary is sending their kids to the auditorium on Monday to see the HS play, they'll be seeing Erin! I know some of the schools are sending their kids for a special performance, but she didn't know which ones.
DznyFan!! Please Read!! Urgent!! :rotfl2:

Yes, Colton is supposed to going to the HS today. I wish I had seen this earlier. I would have asked how Colton would have recognized Erin.

Once again, I overdid it for the day and I am sooo sore now. I'd love to take my own relaxing advice, but the Dr. advised me to avoid heat on my back, it could cause more bruising & bleeding and I do NOT need that. I wore some new jeans the other day that are a slightly lower rise than my usual "mom jeans" and was horrified to realize that my bruised behind (technically "lower back", don't get too excited pozey!) peeked out when I sat down!! Good thing it was cold outside, I just left my coat on.
:rotfl: :lmao:
I had to laugh, lyzziesmom, because we went to the mall Saturday afternoon, and there was an over abundance of "butt cleavage" :lmao: out and about. I think the jeans get lower and lower every day.

It's funny - a comedy/satire written by a French playwright in 1672 satirizing medicine. It's wordy and can be hard to follow (17th century French translated to English) and of course they have to keep the dialogue in the period. Very well performed, and the guys in the play do a PHENOMENAL job. Wish I was going again today.

Still catching up......

Hi! I am a newbie to the thread, but I thought I'd pop in and say hello.
Welcome!! :welcome: Yet another Oklahoman!!

Cobra: available but $$$$$! Will only buy if needed since new job has 30day waiting period, Cobra has 60 days to sign up. Should be able to last a month with no major catastrophe. Cross fingers for me!
I will cross my fingers for you. I'm sure you will be able to make it without anything major happening! Cobra is terribly expensive!

Okies are taking over!! Driven through OK going from TX to MN. Memories = windy. brown. nice. Is KC close enough to attend local meet?
DznyFan said:
Lyzziesmom - I laughed when I read your OK memories. Really, you must have come thru during the winter sometime. In our neck of the woods its pretty and green 75% of the time. You're only about 4 hours away from us.
That is exactly what I was thinking. It is really very pretty here in “Green Country”. Now, it can get pretty windy…

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Linda- I love the pics!

Amber and Angela- Your trips are coming up so fast!

Happy Birthday Mike! :bday:

Keagansmom- Peanut butter blossoms sound great.

Lyzziesmom- I hope you have a great first day at work!

Have a great day everyone!
