Pin-cess...I just had a private converstion with Donna and we decided a campsite will be the way to go. ;) :rotfl: Hey I'll talke a caramel macchiato heated extra hot from Target. If the have Krisy Kremes...I'll take a chocolate with bovarian cream (sorry guys I can't spell). :teeth:

Are you guys talking behind my back?? :teeth: We need conference calling.

Campsite?? You expect this Pin-cess to sleep with..........gulp........BUGS??

One caramel macchiato and possible bavarian cream comin' right up.

Oh, and Donna---the Hampton Target---that would be the one!! They rahabbed almost a year ago and it now has an escalator. It leads down to a parking garage, but hey, it's still an escalator. :teeth: This was one of the strong selling points when they were rehabbing. "Come see the Target with the escalator"---I was so excited--here I pictured a multi-level Target----naive Pin-cess.

So...who has AP's??
I let mine expire last year, because I didn't go as much as I thought I would the previous year. I could purchase another one, that might help with the room rates.

OH NO YM, I JUST READ WHERE YOU BROKE THE NEWS TO OUR PINCESS ABOUT THE CAMPSITE!! WHO NEEDS TO SHOWER AND BRUSH THEIR TEETH ANYWAY!!!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :woohoo: :joker:

Yes, and as long as we have a hook-up we can make beanie-weenies and ramen noodles in our coffee pot and save on dining. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Do you think the Pin-cess is still breathing? :faint:

Just wanted to pop in and say hi to the lovely cliqueless chicas!! :wave2:

Haven't had much of a chance to log on this weekend. Went to the football game Saturday, spent Sunday at the in-laws, and taking the family to Bell's (a small local amusement park) today.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Labor Day weekend!!

I would love it. Mrs. P would love it. But not sure it would happen. Mrs. P wants to spend our "normal" vacation money on home-improvement kind of things for next year. So, our tentative vacation plans for 2007 include a trip to St. Louis, with a possible stop in Springfield, Mo.

Oh, by the way....DS(10) had his surgery Friday.

Hey everyone,

As you can see, I wasn't up neeearly as early as you guys.

With SOG and dining, I know for sure you can't get the dining plan. I remember reading it as a drawback on some resort opinions thread. You also don't use Disney transportation, but they do have busses that take you to different parks. (They aren't on a continual basis, I think they might have one an hour or something like that, its on a time schedule.) ETA: I just thought of another drawback- no Magical Express. We'd have to pay for a Mears van or something.

I'll let everyone know what I think of POFQ. I've stayed at Coronado Springs and Port Orleans Riverside and both were beautiful, but I chose POFQ to stay for the first time this trip because of what 2xcited said, its more compact.

Of course, if we can get a good deal on a deluxe, that would be fantastic too. But right now, I think our best bet is a moderate- atleast until the rates and discount codes come out. We can always upgrade.

ETA: Just thought of another idea. What about the Swan or Dolphin? I don't think their rates are as expensive as the duluxes, more on par with the moderates. We were going to stay there until free dining came out. I know military and nurses, and I think teachers get a discount. You cant get the dining plan, but can use Disney transportation and its location is fantastic! What do you guys think? (Not sure if ou can use Magical Express for Swan or Dolphin though...??)

Ashley,

Excellent points...I think you summed that up nicely. I think some good deals will come out closer to the dates and like you said we can always upgrade. We could use Shades of Green as a back up plan. I think my first choice would be to have the whole package...dining, tickets, and ME...just for ease. :thumbsup2 The location of Swan and Dolphin would be nice(Epcot :woohoo: ) but then there would be the dining trade off. We'll figure it out. :cheer2:
