Perhaps our internet provider didn't receive the part they were expecting, whatever!!!! I'm sure they are going to mess around and wait for the rain to start and then it won't be installed before the weekend!!

About the movie Invincible. My DS8 wanted to see it too. Have they been advertising this movie at school or something? I really hadn't heard all that much about it, or perhaps because it was a football movie I hadn't paid much attention.
Last weekend DS watched Glory Road and seemed to enjoy most of it. He LOVES basketball, though.

YourMajesty:: Glad you finally got your tire fixed. You have to wait 2 weeks for the crown? Tomorrow is my appointment. Teeth cleaned and exam to access the damage. But anyway, I'm glad you are feling better!!

Hi, Linzybrooke & PrincessTiff!!! Maybe we will be able to talk soon!! I see you are both Texas girls, so is Tinkerbell Girl(Nicole)!!

2x2s;;I hope you are feeling better today!!
Goin' to the Prom, hunh?? Sounds like...fun. At what high school is this event going to be held? Poor girl.
I found something especially for you Wilma!

Michele::What a scare about Matt and the microwave!! I guess nothing was damaged...except for the towel!! Glad Blake is sticking to his hotel in India. He probably wishes he were in Indiana about now!!

Hi to Linda, pozey, DznyFan, Prec. Pix, lyzziesmom, Lesa, Amber, and anyone I might have forgotten!!! :wave2:

A special HELLO to April aka ForTheLoveOfDisney(gee, that hard to type!!)!! :wave2: We've missed you. Drop by when you can...just to say "Hi!"

Have a super day everybody!!!

Good Morning!!

First, hello to the new people :wave2: . It's always great when new people join.

Nicole, have a great trip and safe flight. :wizard: for good weather.

YM, now that you have a pretty new tooth, you gonna avoid popcorn? :)

Michele, did they say why parents can't watch anymore? That just seems silly.

pozey, any luck with QVC and the TV?

2x2s, I don't think I'd be happy with the prom theme either. I went to my junior prom. Mike and I had just started dating and I pretty much made him take me. It wasn't that fun at all. We didn't rent a limo, but instead took Mike's camero. I had a ball gown on complete with corset. Try getting into that car when you can't bend. Not fun.

My best friend's date ditched her last minute, so she went with one of my friends. Well, he decided that prom sucked and left. Once you left you weren't allowed back. No one knew he left for quite some time, so most of the time was spent looking for him. She finally decided to go to the car and he was sitting on the hood. She was not happy. Ahh, those were the days.

Our Christmas party is at a hotel and doesn't have a theme. I won't be attending, because this year they decided to have it 12/23. I will be way too busy.

Talk to everyone later!

So sorry! I'm naughty like that sometimes!

I am a huge Wicked fan, really a huge theatre fan.

So, I feel the need to properly introduce myself to you fine peeps. So, lets see...I gradutated from college (go Texas Tech) in 2004 and married my college sweetie in November of that year. We honeymooned at Disney and on the Wonder and then I went back to work at The Disney Store. I've worked for TDS since 2000 and am an ASM in Frisco, Texas. :wave2: to all of you who shop there! I'm a dog fanatic and a huge fan of Dogs Deserve Better and the Humane Society and I have two crazy little Pomeranians. I also love to make pie and cake! Thats about it! I look forward to chatting with all you guys!
Welcome Linzybrooke! :welcome:

Good morning!

I'm off to the middle school to fold and address about a billion news letters.

Have a good day everybody!

Good Morning!

Donna- Thanks for the breakfast! I really could use it right about now! I will be looking for you at WDW!!!! ;) :teeth:

Lindzybrook and PrincessTiff- Hi! I'm from Houston.

I saw Invincible and I liked it, and normally I don't like football movies!

Did anyone watch Good Morning America today? I didn't hear exactly what they were talking about, but I did hear a woman they were interviewing say that Disney movies were blatantly filled with witchcraft! :furious: :scared1: How dare she talk about Disney that way!

I am sooo tired this morning! I was too excited to sleep!!!!! :teeth: Well I think it is that and the fact that I'm still on medication from the dr, and it causes insomnia! I need my beauty sleep! I will be here until 3:30 and then it's off to the airport!!!!

In case I don't get to talk to some of ya'll later, Goodbye! I will miss everyone! :wave2:

I think they've been pushing Invincible pretty hard on the Disney channel. That's pretty much the only channel that Lyzzie will watch, and she's even got Emma liking some of the "older kid" shows. Emma will now ask to watch "Hannah 'Tana", it's too cute!

Nicole... TODAY!! I'm so excited for you!! Have a great time for all of us and take lots of pictures - if Donna doesn't take 'em for you.

Bad news for Matt...the team we were supposed to play tomorrow won't play us. They are the team that accused us of running up the score 2 weeks ago. We were supposed to play them again and they refuse. 2 of the teams in our conference don't have JV teams so sometimes we have to play a team more than once. So no playing time for Matt this week. Homecoming is Friday night and a handful of JV players were invited to dress and be on the field with the varsity ( they won't play) and Matt wasn't asked. He says he will have more fun in the stands, which is probably true!
I hate to hear that for Matt. I am sure he was so looking forward to finally getting out on the field and playing. And I don't like the example the other coach is setting for HIS OWN team. Sounds like he is just whining because his team isn't very good. How can his own team improve if they don't play?

Pozey----I find myself asking if Mrs. P knows that you cyberly hang out with a bunch of women-----then you have a job offer in an all women's fitness club???? She must be a very strong and confident wifey. ;)
She can join us anytime, btw.

Pozey...hey, good luck with the new job prospect. :thumbsup2
Thanks everyone for the well wishes. The interview went great. I think it would be a very nice job. However, their top end of the salary range that they are wanting to pay is about 15% less than what I am currently making. So, I am probably pretty much out of the running. I probably can't afford a 15% pay cut. That would definitely cut into my Disney Savings account!! Can't have that!!

Oh, and Mrs. P knows about you girls!! She gets a good laugh at the stories I tell her!! She is a very strong and confident woman. She has to be to stay with me. She knew what she was getting into when she married me. :rotfl: :rotfl2: We can't go anywhere without bumping into someone I know or knew from a long time ago........Here comes another pozey story......

A couple weeks ago, we went to Ted's Cafe Escondido in Oklahoma City to eat before the OU game. We were waiting on our table when this guy walks by. He and his family are just going in to the restaurant. I tell DW...."I think I know that guy. I think I played baseball in college with him." So, I went in and asked if he remembered playing ball with me. He did. It was cool. He was a senior when I was a freshman, so I only played with him for 1 season, but we remembered each other. And we hadn't seen one another in MANY years.

We are a theatre 'family' so to speak - DD is very active in theatre, particularly musical theatre. My DH and I are very supportive - having come from a music background.
DznyFan........I think you may have mentioned it before.....but my mind isn't quite as........what were we talking about? :confused3

Didn't you mention before that your DD might go to the Disney College program or something like that? Or try to be a cast member?

My DW's cousin works in the HR Department for Walt Disney World in Orlando. Her main area is cast members I think. So, if you had any questions, I might be able to ask DW's cousin.

Linda, between Kenny & Emma the Feb trip will be a stink-fest! Kenny is rotten, and I am always calling Emma a little stinker.

Tonight Emma accidentally kicked Lyzzie in the eye (I have no idea how that happened and I don't want to know) and made her cry. Emma took off into her room and came out a minute later, said "Yizzie cry! Need binky!" and popped her princess binky into Lyzzie's mouth! It was so funny, Lyzzie forgot all about crying. I wish I could bring them both in Feb, but it gets too pricey and too difficult to handle them both AND be able to enjoy myself.
What a cute story!! Aren't they fun at that age?

Does Emma do this......When Courtney was a little younger....probably around 2, anytime one of the boys would do something and they would cry......Courtney would start crying too. No matter the reason. They could have fallen and got hurt and started crying....Courtney would cry. If we were watching a sad movie, and someone would cry.....Courtney would cry. It was cute.

Does anyone have anything exciting planned for this weekend?? :goodvibes
Hi Tiff!!

No exciting plans for this weekend. And that's a change from the normal. OU does not have football game this weekend, so that means a free weekend for us.

One of my best friends called and asked if we would like to come watch her son play in a soccer game Saturday morning. He's 5 and it will be his first game. We are going to try to go.......however, it is at 9:00 A.M.!! Now, I will be up and ready, but getting the kids up and ready might be a different story.

DW also mentioned she wanted to go to the Disney Store and to Sears to look for Courtney some clothes. Like that girl needs any more clothes..... :smooth:

pozey, any luck with QVC and the TV?
Well, it's not QVC that I have been dealing with. It is the manufacturer - Mintek.

QVC has been great. DW orders a LOT of stuff from QVC and she's never had a problem with them.

Since the TV worked past the 30 day QVC guarantee, I have had to deal with Mintek.

And so far, NO, I have not had a resolution yet. I was told on Tuesday, that they would have an answer for me in 24 to 48 hours. Their 48 hours is up at 12:30 p.m. TODAY!

That's cute about Emma!!

We watch a LOT of Disney Channel shows as well. And Courtney LOVES Hannah Montana as well. No matter what Courtney is doing.......when she hears the theme song come on......she comes RUNNING and starts dancing in front of the TV!!

That's so cute! What Emma does, besides the binky thing, is whenever anyone is brushing their hair, Emma will say, "Ow! Ouch! Ow! Ow!" even though it's not HER hair being brushed. It's pretty funny. She also likes to tell people who are crying that they need a bandaid.

Here is a Nicole story, :teeth:

A few weeks ago I ordered a 49ers hat for Steven for his birthday. His birthday is tomorrow. So I received the hat and tried it on, I noticed that it was kind of big but didn't think anything of it. Then my dad tried it on and said that he had a big head! I told him no, it was a small. So then my dad said that it wasn't a small, so I flipped it over and it was a xl.

So I sent it back for an exchange and wrote on the slip that I needed a small. Well today I received a email from the NFL shop saying that I would be receiving a refund minus the shipping costs! :furious: No way! So I called them up and explained everything. I told the person why should I not get back my shipping cost when it was a obvious mistake on their part. At first he didn't budge and then he finally caved. So I reordered the hat and made sure that they had the size I needed. Of course small was the only size they had! So the hat is reordered and hopefully everything will be correct.

I think this is the longest post I have ever typed on here!!! :rotfl:

Happy Thursday everyone!!!!!!

I had another strange dream yet again. This one was most terrible!!!!!! We were having dinner at Artist Point at WL and I accidentally ordered the wrong thing. :scared1: I literally felt like I was going to cry because I knew it was my own fault.
I called my mom this morning to tell her and she laughed saying, "you really take this seriously, don't you??" Don't ya know it----I haven't labored over the menues for nuttin'!!

I can't stay long right now but I just wanted to wish Nicole a HAPPY WDW TRIP!!!!!!

And Happy Birthday to Steven!! :bday: :cake:

You guys have a fun and safe trip.

We'll miss our little TinkGirl!!!!

p.s. Lyzziesmom---I'm laughing at Emma stories!! And, yeah, Miss Lyzzie sounds very mature!!!

another p.s.---Donna-- my Wilma looks a little dimented---did you do that on purpose?? :teeth:
How did your Betty get bigger?? hint hint :lmao:
Thanks, Luvvy!!

I'm off the the dr. (story of my life)-----I'll try to stop by later or tonight after work.

Good Day.

Pozey, you're on a roll this morning! Or is it you're the only one checking in here...

Donna, that breakfast looked great!!

That's just WRONG. It seems there are many 'family' organizations that are anti-Disney, I just think, 'c'mon, don't you people have anything better to do?' I guess not. And Nicole - have a MAGICAL trip!!! pixiedust:

BTW---

Donna--do you own stock in IHOP????

Just joshin' ya-----it was yummy!!!!!!

(I seem to have a bit of a sassy mouth today---hmmm, imagine that!!)

Sorry.

I suddenly got the strangest urge to see the movie in Canada WS. Two weeks from tomorrow baby!!!!!

"Canadaaaaaa, my Caaanaadaaaa,
You're a lifetime wonder on this planet Earth"

2x - good luck at the doctor! I finally broke down and made myself an appointment with my pain specialist for tomorrow morning. He'd better not try to send me to physical therapy again - 3 unsuccessful rounds was enough for me thank you very much. I hurt my back yesterday trying to pick up a box and decided it's time to go.

Hi, 2xcited! :wave2: What'cha doing here during the day??
Good luck at the Dr.'s! pixiedust:

Jill - have you checked your library for the Plum books? I've bought one here and there, and then if I'm almost done with one and I haven't bought the next one, I request it from our library system. Almost done with #6 and picked up #7 from the library last night.
