I went to do the news letters today, we folded about 1000. We were just about finished when I noticed that there was a second page insert. We had to unfold them all and insert the extra page.

Lizziesmom....That bed and breakfast sounds really cool! Where is it? I love the story about Emma. How sweet of her to share her binky!

Michele....I'm glad Matt didn't burn the house down. Didn't he catch fire to the kitchen once before? :firefight Your mom is making beef stew.  Tim is so getting on her nerves!!! Did she tell you about the bread? I'm glad Blake will be home soon. Sounds like he will kiss the US ground when he lands.

2x2....I did some shopping for you and found the perfect prom dress!

:teeth:

I have had a constant headache for over a week now. I wish it would go away! :guilty: Well off to have beef stew with DM-inlaw! :rolleyes1

Lesa...Mom's beef stew sounds like heaven, except I guess you have to eat it at Melissa's house. Can you ask for a doggie bag? Yes Matt and Nick did catch my cabinets on fire years ago. I had blocked that from my memory.

I ran to the bookstore this afternoon, and picked up that Stephanie Plum book. It seems to be a novella with her but it says a guy names Diesel?!? I will let you know about it when I am done.

I called WDW about ordering a new ring for Matt. They won't let me. I will have to find someone around here that does it or wait til Feb. Unless...I can sneak down-NO!stop thinking like that [mental slap on the face] Okay I'm better now.

The stew was fabulous, the company was not. Needless to say we ate and ran! :moped: Tim was annoying as ever. The guy is so cheap. There was a box of crispy cream donuts on the table apparently from a week ago. He refuses to let your mom throw them out.

I got a few emails about great airfares to Orlando! :rolleyes1 I'm game if your game! ;)

Comcast's stupid DVR box doesn't work. It is taping survivor in mute. So we can watch it, but not hear it. Now I have to watch all the stupid commercials. I swear if they send me another broken box I am going to blow a gasket!

I bet 2x will be tempted if not downright relieved that she will have someghing to wear. Good work Lesa. :cheer2: :lmao:

Well, I hopped on just to let y'all know I'm alive and sort of well. I worked today as well as tomorrow. I had to make a quick trip BACK to the dentist today for this stupid crown. Hope everyone had a good day...catch you later alligator(s).

Good Morning everyone!!!
I have been slaving away since the wee hours of the morning preparing us a special breakfast!!!

Looks pretty good!!!
Have a Fabulous Friday!!!!

Good Morning...thanks for breakfast Donna.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Sorry, it took me a while to go back and catch up.....and that was for one 1 day!!!

Nicole's plans for today:
*9/29-Friday AK day
Dinner at WCC
Possible trip to the Adventurers Club
Sounds like fun to me!!
So, where do you all like to go on your first day at WDW? I like to go to Magic Kingdom first. This past year our first main day was spent at AK and MGM.

Ashley will be heading home today:
*Friday, our flight leaves at 1:45 pm. We'll probably sleep in, and check out right before ME picks us up.
Maybe Ash will check in tonight and tell us what a great time she had at WDW!!!

Dolphinrescuegirl aka Kim, welcome back, girlie!!! Please don't let us overwhelm you, just jump in!!! We missed you!! :wave2:

lyzziesmom::If they have been advertising Invincible on the Disney Channel, that would explain how Nathan nows so much about it. I knew it had to be Disney or Nick. Sorry to hear about your birthday trip plans, maybe something closer will work out.

YourMajesty::You mentioned going to the dentist for your crown. I thought you were going to have to wait 2 weeks. Maybe I misread? Maybe we'll be able to talk this weekend.

2x2s::that trip is getting closer young lady!!! You can let us know your itinerary any time now. hint hint ;) I still haven't made it by our Wendy's yet to check out the Vanilla Frosties. I did try some cheesecake from BK on Wed. and it wasn't half bad for 1.29!!
Sorry your Wilma looked a little "haggard", that was the best I could find.

Lesa::That pic of the "perfect" prom dress wouldn't be anyone we know now would it??? hummm?? I wish I knew how to post a pic of my Senior Prom dress, it was fabulous!! :rotfl2:

Well, Betty Rubble has not made it out of the Stoneage just yet. DH say the internet connection seems to be fixed, but the wireless router is screwed up. The tech from our internet company had me go in and change passwords and I can't remember/or Dh can't figure out what happened!! :badpc:
Nathan had a Cubscout Pack meeting last night (DH is the Den Leader :lmao: ) so we didn't get home until late. DS needed to do homework and some reading...I was too pooped to post!!!

WOW!!! I just noticed what time it was, gotta run!!!

TGIF!!!

Good Morning!

Donna, the breakfast looks fabulous!

lyzziesmom, I'm sorry you can't go to St. Louis for your birthday, but the B&B sounds wonderful.

Michele, I used to work with a woman that lived was from India. She was a one income family with 2 kids in the US, but when she lived in India she was RICH (and she had less money there then in the US). I'm sure Blake can't wait to get home.

Can someone please explain men to me (pozey perhaps?) It started last night when Mike got mad that I gave him paperwork and HE lost it. Apparently, I was suppose to keep track of HIS stuff so that he doesn't lose it. This morning, he comes in saying that the car needs an oil change and a tune up (which it does). The problem is, he told me WEEKS ago that HE would call the shop AND take the car to get it's oil changed. He hasn't done it and I haven't thought about it (he takes me to work in his company car, so we rarely drive the other car). This is somehow my fault??

On a happy note, IT'S FRIDAY!!!!
dancegirl1.gif

shew...I have several pages to catch up on. It's been a crazy week for me. Something every single day... :sad2: SOOOO glad it's Friday. I'll have to catch up in a little bit. Have a great day guys :wave2: Amber :grouphug: good luck. It's NOT your fault!!!

Thanks for breakfast, Donna! Looks great as always!

Amber - I have one of those - I usually am the one that cleans up his "messes", and I take the heat for things that he does. I'm not sure how they manage to twist things around that they've done and make it our fault, but they do. Hang in there, girl! :grouphug:

Donna - our first day at WDW? Our flight usually gets there around 1:00, so we see the resort around 2 - 2:30 or so. That's typically our 'in' day - we get checked in, drop off our luggage and unpack, then head to DTD for some wandering and dinner. We usually don't see a park until our first full day, which is generally Sunday.

2xcited - I love the prom dress Lesa found for you. I'm sure you will look lovely in it.

Lyzziesmom - for a short weekend trip, the B&B sounds kind of fun! Hope you get a chance to get away!

Hi, Kim! Welcome back!

:wave2: everyone, and HAPPY FRIDAY!

pozey, of course Courtney's doll is cute, I mean LOOK at the girl! She is such a little doll herself. And I don't usually say that about other people's kids!
Thank you. That is so sweet!

Darn it, it's too bad my mom can't babysit Emma because now I've got the travel bug. I think I will look into a bed & breakfast I've always wanted to go to... it's in central KS and it's really cool, it's an exotic animal farm. There is a hayride and a "safari" tour in the evening and then in the morning after breakfast you help feed the giraffes, kangaroos and zebras, and then go on pony or camel rides. I could take both of the kids and it's only about $119 for a family suite with bunk beds. Sort of like "Animal Kingdom Lodge Lite." With any luck they will have a room available next weekend!
That B&B sounds VERY cool!! DW and I have stayed at a couple of Bed and Breakfast places in Branson (pre kids). They are very nice. We want to go to another one sometime. That one sounds like a great time!

First off......I'm sorry for your man troubles.

I'll do my best........

Most men are pretty simple creatures. Not overyly complex. When he got mad last night, he probably wasn't really mad at you. He was probably mad at himself for losing the papers, and felt somewhat embarrassed and just took it out on you. That, of course, is NOT right.

And when he mentioned the oil change and tune up, he was probably just upset that he had forgotten about it and again, was more embarrassed than anything.

Not sure if I have helped at all. But :grouphug: to you.

Well, Colton came home from school with very sad news yesterday. The music teacher at his elementary school passed away one day this week.

She had been fighting cancer for about a year or so and God finally decided to bring her home.

Colton was very upset about it. He really liked her.

That is very sad, Pozey.
If I might ask, what was the teacher's name? Erin may have had her a few years ago.
I *THINK* her name was Mrs. Alexander. I'm not positive. It was either her or Mrs. Cobb. I always got their names confused.

Colton brought home a sheet of paper yesterday that had some information about the funeral arrangements and stuff. I brought it with me to work today because I wanted to send flowers. But I left the paper in the truck. I will run down and get it here in awhile.

On Edit: It was Mrs. Cobb.

Thanks pozey for the explaination. Mostly, I have learned to just ignore him when he acts like that. He did just call and was (seemingly) in a happy mood, so I hope it continues.

I'm sorry about the teacher. :grouphug:

Good morning everyone!

Donna....I woke up this morning thinking how much I would love an omelet. I log on and here it is. Thanks so much!

SHHHHH, I don't want Michele to know I posted a picture of her in her prom dress! ;) :lmao:

Lizziesmom....I love the new picture of Lizzie

UGH...I broke down and had another frosty last night. I have to stop this or I'm going to blow up like a balloon. :rolleyes1 Now I am wishing Wendy's would close up shop around here!

Amber....I have to agree with Pozey explanation on men. My dh does the same thing. I ask him to do something and when he forgets and I remind him he acts like it was my fault he forgot. For some reason women stress over what needs to be done and men hope it will somehow it will magically get done so they no longer feel the need to think about it again. ;)

Pozey....that is so sad about your son's music teacher.

I have to ask if anyone else having problems getting their server to find the dis boards or is it just me. :guilty: Last night I was replying to a post when I hit the submit button it came up that the dis boards could not be found. It was never found again last night. This is the second time it has happened to me, the first time I freaked out because I couldn't imagine where the dis could have gone. :confused3 Maybe it's a conspiracy! :badpc:
