Who HATES Egg Nog?

I hate the store bought kind, but my best friend's mom makes some homemade egg nog that tastes like a milk shake...OMG IT'S AWESOME!!! That I will drink...the other stuff...blech!!

I was watching my daughter drink a glass the other day and didn't realize I was making a face until she had polished off the glass and then smacked her lips and said, "That hit the spot and your icky face isn't going to ruin it for me."

No one in my family likes it, so I'm the only one who ends up drinking it. And that is why I havent bought it in a long long time. Too much for one person. Only need a couple of glasses or so.

I tried it when I was a kid and thought it was disgusting. Some years later someone offered me the "spiked" version of eggnogg and I could not believe how much better it is with the booze

Nope... but after a few glasses the calories jump overboard themselves and you no longer care

It is one of the most disgusting things I've ever tasted! I can't stand it, but my DH and the kids drink it (no alcohol added).

I love eggnog but...its too thick and creamy. I dilute it half and half ..milk and eggnog. Then in the punch bowl I add scoops of vanilla ice cream to keep it cold. then a little rum

Not for me. I love the concept of eggnog for the holidays and think its smells good-but I just can't drink the stuff, too thick!
