Who has the oldest grandparent?(dead or alive)

My grandfather was born in 1864.
He was 61 yrs old when his son (my father) was born in 1925.
I was born in 1963.
If he was alive today, he would be 144!!!
(He died in 1960, at the age of 96).

My great-grandfather (my dad's grandfather) was born in 1897. I don't remember when he passed away b/c it was before I was born. However, my great-grandmother (my dad's grandmother) was born in 1901 and lived to 1996. She was 95. She would have been 107 this year.

In February 2002, I was 4 months pregnant with DS5. On what would have been her 101st birthday (2/1/02), DS kicked me for the first time

My grandmother was born in 1896. She died when she was 91, my mom was 61 and I was 31.

Sounds like my family! My Grandpa is 90, my mom is 61 and I am 30. My Grandpa's uncle just died this winter at 103.

I'm only in my 30's so clearly my grandparents weren't born in 1850 or something LOL. But that would be cool if they were LOL!


My grandfather was born in 1912 and is getting ready to turn 96 this summer!!! I think that's pretty dang impressive!

so am I .....my grandfather was born in 1893..however my parents had me at 40 and there parents had them at 42..my mothers parents were not alive when i was born..so grandapa was 82 when i was born . He would have been 115

My Nana is going to be 102 on June 1st. She's a darling little English lady and is the proud mother of two, grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 11.

My maternal grandmother was born in 1899, was 42 when she had my mom, and 77 when I was born. She died 3 weeks short of 100.

My maternal grandfather was born in 1895, and died at 81.

My grandmother will be 100 next month.

DH's grampa died when he was 103. He was self sufficient until he was 101, then moved into assisted living and passed two years later.

My Gran Granny was 96 when she passed away in 1989.
