We are in the final stages of planning a one week family trip for either Oct. or Nov. of 2011. There will be 7 family units and I want each family to have its own bedroom. 1 family will have 2 children (infant and age 3); another will have ages 9 and 6; another will have ages 5, 3 and 1.
I was hoping that the group would vote for OKW, where we stayed last time, because the GV is such a bargain. But everyone has voted for BWV, where we stayed the time before that. I will book BW view for all rooms.
Option #1: 1 GV, 1 - 2 bedroom, 1 - 1 bedroom and 1 studio. This takes mega points because of the GV.
Option #2: 3 - 2 bedrooms and 1 - 1 bedroom. I save about 200 points, give or take depending on the dates we book.
I have seen the GV but am undecided whether it is worth the extra points to have the one large gathering area. It would be nice to have but there is also an advantage to having the ability to close doors so that each family unit can have a totally separate accommodation at any given time.
Who has stayed in the BWV GV? Is it worth the extra points? Do you have advice?
